Abstract

Creativity is essentially the ability of a person to produce something new, both in the form of ideas and real work, both in the form of new works. Can be a group or a community that in the process of art can create new things. The research method used in this study is qualitative descriptive. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation studies with data validity techniques are data triangulation. The results of this study are the creativity of the Dangdut Pro Divana music group in Rembang implementing 4 stages, namely (1) Preparing (preparation), creative preparation of Pro Divana. (2) Incubation (incubation), Pro Divana is dangdut which is one of the entertaining dangdut for dangdut music fans. (3) llumunitasion (illumination), in addressing fans of Dangdut Music, by asking Pro Divana to bring foreign songs to be heard. (4) Verification (verification), from the results conducted by Pro Divana is to add material to dangdut songs. Based on the results of research and discussion, the creativity of pro divana aims to develop their musicality in music and give a different nuance to dangdut music fans in enjoying dangdut songs.

Abstract

Kesenian babalu merupakan singkatan dari kata aba-aba dahulu. Kesenian babalu jaman dahulu digunakan untuk melawan penjajah dengan menggunakan simbol-simbol yang telah disepakati oleh masyarakat setempat. Kesenian ini belum terse-dianya kajian yang jelas mengenai komposisi musik. Keunikan Komposisi Musik dan aransemen dalam Kesenian babalu merupakan alasan penulis mengambil tema Komposisi Musik dan aransemen dalam Kesenian babalu sebagai objek dalam penelitian ini. Kurangnya perhatian terhadap ketetapan Komposisi Musik dalam Kesenian babalu juga termasuk salah satu alasan lain penulis mengambil tema Kom-posisi Musik Iringan dalam Kesenian babalu. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah konsep/ pandangan, ciri/ karakteristik, dan komposisi musik iringan dalam Kesenian babalu di Kabupaten Kendal. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah kesenian babalu pada awalnya hanya menggunakan instrumen vokal saja, namun seiring perkembangan jaman kesenian ini mengalami penyesuaian yaitu aransemen, penelitian ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat sebagai pengembangan teori mengenai Komposisi Musik Iringan yang dimiliki Kesenian babalu, sedangkan secara praktis penelitian ini bermanfaat sebagai masukan bagi seluruh warga masyarakat Kabupaten Batang mengenai pelestarian Kesenian babalu.

Abstract

Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni karawitan Jawa di SMP Negeri 1 Bodeh, Kecamatan Bodeh, Kabupaten Pemalang, telah berlangsung dari tahun 2012. Guru atau pelatih kegiatan ekstrakurikuler karawitan di SMP Negeri 1 Bodeh, memiliki dedikasi yang sangat tinggi dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai pengajar ekstrakurikuler karawitan, dengan kreatifitasnya yang mampu membuat suasana belajar menjadi menarik dan menyenangkan. Berdasarkan pokok permasalahan yang dikaji, yaitu mengenai Strategi Pembelajaran Karawitan dalam Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri 1 Bodeh, Kecamatan Bodeh, Kabupaten Pemalang, maka penelitian ini menggunakan jenis pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Deskriptif adalah penguraian tentang kejadian-kejadian berdasarkan data-data baik yang tertulis maupun yang tidak tertulis. Strategi yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran karawitan dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri 1 Bodeh, kecamatan Bodeh, kabupaten Pemalang antara lain: pembelajaran rutin dan pembelajaran insidental. Pembelajaran rutin ekstrakurikuler karawitan terdiri dari beberapa komponen pembelajaran, antara lain: tujuan pembelajaran, siswa, pelatih, metode, materi, media pembelajaran, evaluasi, serta sarana dan prasarana. Langkah memotivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran karawitan yaitu dengan membuat pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, dan diminati siswa, diantaranya dengan pemilihan materi belajar yang baik, serta materi disesuaikan dengan kemampuan siswa dan tersedianya sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung pembelajaran karawitan. Bagi guru seni musik agar dapat memaksimalkan pengajaran tidak hanya disaat kegiatan ekstrakurikuler saja, tetapi juga pada kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Abstract

Javanese Karawitan is a type of traditional music that is rarely used as extracurricular subjects in formal educational institutions. However, Sekolah Dasar (SD) Negeri 1 Waluyorejo, Puring District, Kebumen Regency, teaches Javanese music to extracurricular activities in the arts. The research method used was descriptive qualitative method. The data were obtained through observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study were karawitan Jawa extracurricular at SD Negeri 1 Waluyorejo held three times a week. Javanese musical extracurricular learning is divided into two activities, namely routine and incidental learning. Provision of material from meetings 1 to 4, namely, (1) Gending Lancaran Gugur Gunung materials; (2) gending Lancaran Kebo Giro and Kebumen Binuko materials; (3) incorporation and application of training methods for nayaga and penggerong; (4) stabilization of nayaga and penggerong in playing the music and vocal Lancaran Kebo Giro and Kebumen Binuko materials which have been studied. Supporting factors are, (1) learning components that are mutually sustainable; (2) the moral support of the principal; and (3) the teachers and teams competence who are competent in their fields. The inhibiting factors are, (1) student interest still low in traditional arts; (2) teacher activities that conflict with practice scedule.

Abstract

The Learning strategies are learning components that must be applied in learning activities by teacher, including learning of karawitan extracurricular in High School 01 Pemalang. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning strategies used by teachers in karawitan extracurricular of High School 01 Pemalang, uses descriptive qualitative study methods. The data collection is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation technique. While validity of the data was tested using source triangulation techniques, then data analysed by interactive analysis technique. The results showed that the learning strategies in karawitan extracurricular of High School 01 Pemalang was using a teacher-centered, that the teacher becomes the center of the learning which determines the material, methods, dan learning objectives. Then, the syntax (stage) of learning strategies are orientation, presentation, guided training, structured training, independent training, independet activities, and evalution.

Abstract

Music for the Aura Theater is not only a supporter of the presentation of the show, but also as a medium for conveying the core story in a performance that is packaged in the form of songs and becomes part of the storyline. This makes researchers interested in the process of creating songs in their musical dramas. This study aims to identify and describe the process of creating compositions for musical drama songs in Kulino scripts at the Aura Indonesia Theater performance. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that produces descriptive data. The research location is in the center of theatrical activities of Theater Aura Indonesia with data sources from the chairman as well as the director of Kulino performances and composers. Data were collected by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study is an interactive model whose elements include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that in the process of creating the composition of the Kulino musical drama song through stages (1) script review, namely the activities of appreciating, reviewing, discussing, or reviewing all the elements contained in the script to be worked on (2) observation, namely the stages carried out by the composer. to get musical inspiration which is then illustrated in the form of rough notes (3) pouring, namely pouring rough notes from observations into the form of musical compositions (4) embodiment, namely redeveloping the finished song by adding other musical instruments, namely keyboard, guitar melody, violin, cello, drum, bass, flute, and saxophone (5) presentation, in which the composer presents the finished song to the director and assistant director.
