Abstract

Mentor placement at the IO 558 Sangkakala Medan Child Development Center sometimes finds it difficult to place and evaluate the results of the data directly. Sometimes there is a placement error that can make the results of the work given not optimal, this can hinder the performance of the mentor. Therefore, we need a decision support system that can make the mentor placement process easier. Decision Support Systems are computer-based systems capable of solving unstructured problems. Rank Order Centroid is used as a method for weighting the criteria. While the Composite Performance Index method is a method based on the combined performance index of various alternatives against non-uniform criteria.Keywords: Decision Support System, Placement, Mentor, CPI, ROC

Abstract

The selection process for Student Language Ambassadors at the North Sumatra Language Hall is still subjective in that the assessment may not be based on established criteria or without looking objectively so the selection process is less precise and the resulting decisions are less satisfactory for the students' Language Ambassador participants.  In this study, the authors used a decision support system with the Exprom II method to find the value of weights and criteria, and to find the final grade or to find the value of the Student Language Ambassador ranking. Thus the Decision Support System is needed so that it can help the North Sumatra Language Office in determining Student Language Ambassadors. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to build a decision support system application for selecting Student Language Ambassadors using the Exprom II method so that it can help and facilitate the North Sumatra Language Hall in making decisions choosing Student Language Ambassadors and the decisions determined are satisfactoryKeywords: Decision Support System, Student Language Ambassador, Exprom Method II

Abstract

Kyphosis (kyphosis) is a disorder in the curvature of the spine that makes the upper back appear abnormally rounded or bent. Everyone has a curved spine, ranging from 25 to 45 degrees. However, in people with kyphosis, the curvature of the spine can reach 50 degrees or more. These conditions make people hunchbacked. Kyphosis is still difficult or rare to find so it is difficult for sufferers to consult their experts (Kofosis diagnosis specialists) to obtain information related to the diagnosis of the disease they are experiencing. The expert system built in this study to diagnose Kofosis was designed and built using the Visual Basic Net 2008 programming language, as with the development of this expert system, it is expected to have a positive impact as an alternative tool for diagnosing Kofosis in sufferers of this disease. In the expert system for diagnosing Kofosis in this study, the mamdani fuzzy logic method is applied with the aim of increasing the progress of the system's work in producing accurate diagnostic output and in accordance with the expert knowledge obtained by the author when conducting research on this Kofosis disease.Keywords: Expert System, Diagnosis, Cofosis, Fuzzy Mamdani

Abstract

Before the arrival of disease, it is good for humans to prevent it, many plants grow that are beneficial to health, but so are the many diverse types of plants and their respective benefits so that it is difficult to understand which are beneficial for health which are not beneficial for health. To facilitate the search for plant health benefits for human health, it was designed using the Maximal Shift algorithm, where this algorithm as a solution in searching for plant health benefits for human health with the limited screen size of smartphones owned, string matching is needed as a process in the search. Application search for the benefits of plants for human health based on Android was designed using Eclipse Juno.
