Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze administrative staff in improving public services in the Baru Tancung Village Office, Tanasitolo District, Wajo Regency and to analyze the factors that influence administrative staff in improving public services in the Baru Tancung Village Office, Tanasitolo District, Wajo Regency. The research method used is qualitative research with primary data sources totaling 5 people, namely 1 head of government section, 1 population administration staff, and 3 communities. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the Administrative Worker's research in improving public services in the Baru Tancung Village Office, Tanasitolo District, Wajo Regency, from the five public services are good, so that services can run effectively and efficiently. Factors that influence administrative staff in improving public services at the Baru Tancung Village Office, Tanasitolo District, Wajo Regency are divided into 2, namely supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors for administrative personnel in public services are physical evidence such as infrastructure, equipment, chairs, tables, cabinets, benches, computers, printers, etc, reliability, responsiveness and good response, and empathy such as attention and courtesy. While the factors that hinder administrative staff in public services are work discipline that still needs to be improved.

Abstract

This research or study aims to analyze and explain about the implementation of public services at the Subdistrict of Tomoni (a village government office), Tomoni District, East Luwu Regency, about determinant of factor influencing (supporting and inhibiting) it, and about strategies needed to improve the quality of public services. A qualitative descriptive as type or kind of research. Amount 50 people of local community established as sample (by purposive sampling technique). All of data collected by use library research, observation, questionnaires, interviews, documentation technique. A Qualitative used to data analysis. Result, the implementation of public services which includes amount administrative services for letters of introduction and permits as required by community members at the Tomoni Village Office has not been optimal/effective. Internal factors that support public services are competence, coordination-internal cooperation, awareness and commitment, ethics of decency and integrity, motivation, leadership, and environment work. Meanwhile, the internal inhibiting factors are bureaucratic culture, infrastructure and facilities - technology, discipline, responsive/ empathetic attitude, and public service mechanisms. Supporting external factors are policies and community behavior. While the external inhibiting factors are socialization, supervision, management information systems (MIS), Environment and culture, and Coordination and external cooperation. The strategy to improve the quality of public services needed is to increase and develop all supporting and inhibiting factors.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the Strategy for Improving Go Digital Based Services as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of go digitalbased services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration in Wajo Regency. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The research was located at the the Department of Population and Civil Registration in Wajo Regency. The technique of determining informants uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques consist of interviews, observation and documentation. Data validity testing techniques using triangulation techniques. The results of research on the go-digital service improvement strategy at the Department of Population and Civil Registration in Wajo Regency show that the process of implementing the Go-Digital based service improvement strategy has been running effectively and efficiently. Supporting factors in implementing the strategy are supporting facilities and infrastructure, especially computers for each operator, operators who are quick to respond when there are changes in the flow of digital-based services from the center and the existence of complaint services that cause the Population and Civil Registration Office to continue to improve and innovate so that the services provided are better. While the inhibiting factor is in the form of many people who do not have android phones or computers to be able to access digital-based services, server networks from the center that sometimes experience interference or areas where people live that have not been reached by the network so as to hamper this digital-based service.
