Abstract

Schools are the educational institution that exists hundred centuries ago. It isbegun with only an activity to fill a leisure time for children of Roman’s aristocrats. In the next development, schools become an institution designed to teach students under teachers’ supervision. Most countries have formal education system where school is as an obligation for everyone on their age. Schools as a system include some components and its components consist of some factors. Each factors are related and forming a system.Schooling system in some countries has their own unique and characteristics, include in Indonesia’s school institution. The expectation of family, society, and nation toward school institutions are truly tremendous, which is forming each individual to be an intelligent and smart person.Schools are the communities’ only expectation to form such things;however, some policies and schools’ problems are very complex and complicated. Therefore, it needs deep thinking and diagnoses comprehensively in order to make school institutions get closer to family, society, and nation’s expectation.

Abstract

This research had a purpose to know whether assessment of achievement (Performance Assessment) was the evaluation implement that comprehensive and as reflection means that could identify the student's capacity in the process of the receipt, the implementation of knowledge and skills in the subject of the foundations of Educational Technology.This research was the research of the class action that took place two cycles. In each cycle was given by the task, afterwards was evaluated and be compared to the results to see the achievement as well as it’s change.The analysis of the data by making use of the quantitative approach afterwards be interpreted qualitatively. This research was carried out by three person, one of among them at the same time as the teacher. Participants in this subject total 29 first semester students, who were divided into two groups; namely the group with the odd and even task.From results of the analysis of the data and it’s discussions, then could be concluded that assessment of achievement (Performance Assessment) gave several functioning benefits as follows: 1) to describe the achievement of the student who helped the lecturer in giving the value of the end that only did not have a basis in results of the exam; 2) as the reflection implement that gave the picture comprehensive concerning the achievement of the student. From results of this conclusion, then was suggested that the use assessment the achievement better be used for the specific tasks, in a sense had the criterion and the aspect that were evaluated clearly.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penghambat dan pendukung bagi para mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan Program S1 PGSD PJJ FIP UNY.Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 PGSD FIP UNY angkatan pertama yang berjumlah 100 orang. Namun demikian, angket yang kembali dan terisi dengan baik, sehingga dapat dianalisi berjumlah 62 (enam puluh dua). Penelitian ini menggunakan angket sebagai cara untuk untuk mengumpulkan data. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode statistic deskriptif, meliputi distribusi frekuensi, persentasi, rerata dan modus.Berdasar hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: Secara umum perkuliahan mahasiswa S1 PGSD FIP UNY mengalami hambatan yang tidak berarti. Adapun faktor yang kadang-kadang menjadi penghambat adalah pemanfaatan teleconference, kerusakan sarana belajar jarak jauh, kegiatan belajar mahasiswa, kebijakan penyelenggara, dan pelaksanaan praktek belajar mahasiswa (praktek individu, kelompok, dan penyusunan laporan. Sedangkan faktor pendukung perkuliahan tersebut adalah keaktifan mahasiswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan perkuliahan, pelayanan administrasi yang memadau, kegiatan tutorial on line, dan pemanfaatan sarana komunikasi via telpon.
