Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the correlation between the learning environment in school toward learning motivation and social science learning achievement. The method used in this research is the method of associative correlation with ex post facto approach and survey. The sample of the research consist of 40 students. A correlational test was performed to analyze the data. The results of data analysis concluded that there is a correlation between the learning environment in school and learning motivation with students IPS learning achievement IPS with a correlation coefficient R of 0.941.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode asosiatif korelasional dengan pendekatan ex post facto dan survey. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 40 siswa. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan korelasi ganda sedangkan uji hipoesis menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis data diperoleh simpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara lingkungan belajar di sekolah dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar IPS dengan koefisien korelasi R sebesar 0,941.Kata kunci: lingkungan belajar di sekolah, motivasi belajar, prestasi belajar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of parental involvement in children's learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of public elementary school. The research method used a quantitative approach with ex post facto. The population of this study were all students of class V, totaling 84 people. While the research sample used a non-probability sampling technique with a saturated sample. Collection techniques using questionnaires and document studies. Then the data analysis technique is measured to test the data for normality and linearity. The results showed that there was an influence of parental involvement in children's learning on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students at public elementary school 2 Kalianda. Based on the test hypothesis, it is found that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected because tcount ttable, which means that there is a significant influence between parental involvement on mathematics learning outcomes.
