Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the factors causing low interest in learning mathematics in fractions. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. "Qualitative research is research that intends to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects holistically. This type of research is descriptive, where descriptive research is a research method that shows the characteristics of the population or phenomenon being studied. Factors that cause a decrease in interest in learning mathematics in fraction material in class IV-b at Sibreh State Elementary School. The results showed that there were 4 students (50%) who did not pay attention when the teacher explained. From the results of the questionnaire obtained (47%) students were interested in taking part in mathematics lessons on fractions. And 70.23% of students agreed that learning mathematics on fractions was difficult to understand. Based on research results, the factors that cause low interest in learning mathematics in fraction material for class IV students at SDN Sibreh, namely in mathematics lessons, consist of teacher, parent and friend factors. Teachers use less media in learning and focus more on using printed books, so that students do not master the lesson

Abstract

The phenomenon in the field shows that the learning process is not effective because students often feel bored and do not follow Pancasila education lessons. Wordwall-based media is one type of media that can be used to produce effective learning. The method in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The research subjects were 34 class IV students at SD Negeri 32 Banda Aceh. The instruments used include student learning activity observation sheets, test sheets, and questionnaires to measure student responses. The research results showed that: 1) students' learning activities reached 89.2% with the criteria "very good"; 2) the use of this media is effective, with 97% of students declared "complete" based on an average score of 94; 3) students' responses to Wordwall media averaged 30.3 in the "positive" category. Thus, the use of Wordwall-based media is effective in learning Pancasila Education

Abstract

This research is based on problems that have been encountered at SDN 71 Banda Aceh which is directly related to the school committee in several ways which supports. This can be seen from the results of observations that the school committee no input into the learning process, no mobilization managing resources and not monitoring the participation of educational stakeholders in implementing school programs. This study aims to determine what is the role of the school committee in planning the development of SD Negeri 71 Banda Aceh City. This research uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods with data collection techniques carried out by conducting observations and interviews. The subjects in this research are 1 chairman of the school committee, 1 principal, 2 teachers, and 2 peopleĀ  parents/guardians of students. The data processing technique in this research uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification using the descriptive analysis formula. The research results from observation data are that Facilitation supports the role of school committees in development planning SD Negeri 71 has 43 items with a percentage of 91.5% in the very good category, Facilitation that does not support there are 4 items with a percentage of 8.5% in the category very less. So, in general from the results of the interview analysis research that The school committee has supporting factors such as the similarity of vision schools and school committees that make good cooperation and factors barriers such as a lack of consideration and internal control implementation of the program and learning process
