Abstract

In this paper, moisture absorption process in composite material was analytically and experimentally studied. The environmental condition was 72o C and 85 % RH. During a fixed interval time, the composite specimens were taken out from the experimental chamber and weighted. The weight gain showed that the absorption isoterm profile followed Fick Law andthere was a good agreement between the analytical and experimental results. The average maximum moisture absorption was 0.84 %.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe: (1) planning (2) organizing; (3) implementation: and (4) inclusive learning assessment system at the Salatiga White Bee School of Life. This research uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects were the Principal and facilitator. Data collection techniques used semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies which were then analyzed by data reduction, data display, and drawing data conclusions. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that: (1) planning includes; the curriculum used is KTSP with some modifications, facilitators, and school consultants are involved in setting learning plans; (2) organization includes; organizing learning layouts, learning resources, and methods and media in learning, (3) implementation includes; development of life skills and finding identities, prioritizing enjoyable learning, and facilitators who help ABK, and (4) the assessment system includes; authentic appraisers, and report cards for ABK.

Abstract

Pada kurikulum strategi Mastery Learning terdapat istilah program remidial dan pengayaan. Remedial adalah diperuntukkan bagi siswa yang belum tuntas memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Di SD Islam Darul Huda Semarang masih ditemukam beberapa siswa yang mengalami remedial. Rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa membuat mereka tidak tuntas KKM sehingga dari pihak sekolah mengadakan jam tambahan. Pelaksanaan jam tambahan belum efektif. Akhirnya dibentuklah kelompok kelas remedial yaitu kelompok yang terdiri dari siswa-siswa yang remidi dalam pembelajarannya. Diperlukannya inovasi pembelajaran dalam menangani kelompok remedial tersebut menjadi latar belakang pada pengabdian ini. Collaborative learning merupakan pembelajaran kolaboratif yang mengutamakan kerja sama antar siswa dalam memahami pelajaran diharapkan dapat menjadikan pembelajaran siswa kelas remedial semakin menarik. Adanya klinik cerdas diagnostik sebagai mediator untuk mengatasi permasalahan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Dalam klinik ini akan ada semacam konseling yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan personal. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan beragai metode seperti sosialisasi dan pelatihan, small group discussion, pendekatan personal dan tutor sebaya. Pendampingan dilaksanakan sekitar 2 bulan. Dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian diperoleh peningkatan prestasi belajar hingga mencapai rata-rata 86,5. Adapun peningkatan yang dicapai jika di uji dengan gain ternormalisasi diperoleh capaian n-gain sebesar 0,71 dengan kriteria sedang.Kata Kunci: Kelompok siswa remedial, prestasi belajar, klinik cerdas diagnostik, collaborative learning.

Abstract

The partner in this community service was SDN Bangetayu Kulon, Genuk, Semarang. The teachers experienced difficulties to conduct online learning and assessment. Whatsapp had been their main platform to deliver the material and weekly evaluation to their students. The output targets in this PKM were: (1) creating and operating an online classroom in Edmodo; (2) creating online assessments using Kahoot! and Quizizz; (3) evaluating students learning achievement based on the online assessment. The methods used in this PKM were lecturing, question and answer, and direct practice. The results showed that all teachers have succeeded to create and manage an online class in Edmodo and conducting online assessments by using Kahoot! and Quizizz.

Abstract

Distance learning has increased in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic as a new method for research and learning. However, the implementation of distance learning with management learning systems still faces a problem, namely the difficulty of understanding instructional objectives. Regardless of the pros and cons, the results of literature research suggest that distance education is as effective as face-to-face (traditional) learning in terms of student learning outcomes. The application of distance learning (online learning) has many opportunities to develop rapidly as most academic institutions shift to this model. Improving the quality of distance learning programs poses a real challenge in developing challenging content that does not only cover the curriculum but is also engaging. It is strongly predicted that the application of distance learning will not only be part of the normal learning process but will completely replace the current face-to-face conventional teaching and learning.

Abstract

Indonesia has ambitious goals to become a global maritime axis by harnessing its potential maritime resources. Maritime infrastructure and defense logistics management are crucial factors in achieving this objective. Strong maritime infrastructure supports defense logistics, troop mobility, and readiness in facing threats. As the largest archipelagic nation, Indonesia must overcome funding challenges and the complexity of maritime infrastructure development. Defense logistics management requires modern ports and efficient supply chains. Security challenges must also be addressed to safeguard strategic facilities and respond to threats. Maritime infrastructure also impacts economic growth. This study analyzes the role of maritime infrastructure in defense logistics management, identifies challenges, and considers the use of floating concrete as a solution. A Systematic Literature Review method is employed to gather literature. Challenges encompass geographical, financial, technical, regulatory, and environmental aspects. Strategies involving increased investment, long-term planning, coordination, security, and human resource development are needed. Floating concrete technology is proposed to strengthen maritime infrastructure and support the vision of a Global Maritime Axis. The success of defense logistics management and the maritime axis requires strategic collaboration and the implementation of appropriate solutions.

Abstract

In today's interconnected digital world, stakeholder collaboration in cyberspace is crucial for national defense. Advances in information and communication technology have transformed daily life but also introduced complex cyber threats like cyber warfare, cybercrimes, and cyber terrorism, challenging security and stability. The objective of this study is to emphasize the importance of collaboration among diverse stakeholders in enhancing national defense against cyber threats. The methodology involves analyzing existing literature and case studies to understand the impact of collaboration on cybersecurity maturity and national defense strategies. The research findings, derived from SWOT and PESTLE analyses, have highlighted the strengths and weaknesses in collaboration, underscoring the significance of leveraging strengths and addressing weaknesses to establish a robust defense framework. To enhance national defense against cyber threats, a holistic approach is essential, combining political collaboration, economic partnerships, social awareness programs, technological advancements, legal harmonization, and environmental resilience strategies. Key recommendations include fostering regular communication among stakeholders, pooling resources for cybersecurity investments, promoting cybersecurity education, integrating advanced technologies like AI and IoT security solutions, and aligning legal frameworks across jurisdictions.

Abstract

Precision marketing is the companys ability to offer products specifically made to customers. This decision can give the company the ability to attract customers to always buy continuously. This study presents a trend model for accurately predicting monthly supply quantities / The method used in the first stage is the RFM (Recency, Frequency, Monetary) method for selecting attributes to group customers into different groups. The output of the first stage is clustered using the K-Means Algorithm. The output of clustering is then classified using the Decision Tree and compared with the K Nearest Neighbor method. The dataset that is processed is sales data from Syifamart As-Syifa Boarding School in Subang with 351,158 rows of data. The clustering process produces 4 optimal clusters. The four clusters are then classified using the Decision Tree algorithm to determine the potential and non-potential characteristics of each customer.

Abstract

Pemasaran presisi memberikan kemampuan pada perusahaan untuk menawarkan produk-produk yang dibuat secara khusus kepada pelanggan dan memberikan kemampuan kepada perusahaan untuk menarik minat pelanggan dengan pesan-pesan pemasaran yang dibuat secara khusus. Penelitian ini menyajikan kerangka kerja pengambilan keputusan baru menggunakan teknik data mining. Pertama, penelitian ini menyajikan model tren untuk memprediksi secara akurat kuantitas pasokan bulanan; kedua, menggunakan model RFM (Recency,Frequency, Monetary) untuk memilih atribut untuk mengelompokkan pelanggan ke dalam kelompok sesuai history transaksi belanjanya; ketiga, menggunakan Algoritma K-Means untuk membuat clustering pelanggan berdasarkan data RFM masing-masing pelanggan, keempat, menggunakan Decision Tree untuk mengidentifikasi nilai atribut penting untuk membedakan kelompok pelanggan yang berbeda; dan akhirnya, dari proses data mining yang peneliti lakukan menciptakan berbagai strategi penawaran yang menargetkan setiap cluster pelanggan. Data penjualan dari Syifamart di Subang Jawa Barat, dikumpulkan dan digunakan dalam studi kasus untuk menggambarkan bagaimana mengimplementasikan kerangka yang diusulkan. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa proses data mining dari history transaksi penjualan 351,158 rows, dengan agregasi berdasarkan pelanggan menggunakan metode RFM dan diekstraksi dengan menggunakan algoritma clustering k-means membentuk 4 (empat) cluster optimal. Keempat (empat) cluster tersebut diklasifikasikan dengan menggunakan algoritma decision tree sehingga Syifamart dapat mengetahui mana pelanggan potensial dan mana pelanggan yang tidak potensial. Untuk ketersediaan pasokan stok, manajemen memprediksi kebutuhan persediaan produk dengan menggunakan metode tren dimana stok di bulan selanjutnya di prediksi dengan menggunkana history penjualan di bulan sebelumnya.

Abstract

In the era of Industry 4.0, the integration of Machine Learning and the Internet of Things (IoT) plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and safety of logistics processes. This research aims to develop a Smart Packaging system for the shipment of chicken eggs utilizing Machine Learning with the C.45 algorithm and IoT-based on the ThingSpeak platform. The system integrates Node-MCU (ESP8266) as the central processing unit, the DHT11 sensor to monitor temperature and humidity within the packaging, the Vibration Sensor SW-420 to detect potential damage to eggs during shipment, and the Unblock Neo6m-V2 GPS Module for real-time location tracking. The C.45 algorithm is employed to process data and make intelligent decisions regarding the condition of the eggs and the shipping environment. Sensor data is collected and transmitted to the ThingSpeak platform through the Wi-Fi connection provided by Node-MCU. The C.45 algorithm is applied to analyze the data, provide predictions regarding egg conditions, and make decisions for further actions during the shipping process. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the system's accuracy using RapidMiner software. The results indicate that the system is capable of predicting egg conditions with a high level of accuracy, enabling responsive actions to situations that may affect egg quality during shipment. The implementation of Machine Learning and IoT technologies in this chicken-egg shipping system is expected to enhance the quality of delivered products, optimize logistical processes, and provide an intelligent solution to ensure the sustainability of the food product supply chain.
