Motivation of Farmers’ Group Members in Chili Plant Growing (The Case of Farmers’ Group of Catur Amerta Sari, Banjar Pura, the Village of Sebudi, Sub-District of Selat, Karangasem Regency) Cultivation of chili plants is conducted by members of the Farmers’ Group of Catur Amerta Sari, Banjar Pura, the village of Sebudi, certainly based on the high intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of the members of farmers’ group. Under these conditions, the purpose of the study was to determine the level of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of the farmers’ group members of Catur Amerta Sari in Banjar Pura, the village of Sebudi in cultivating chili, and to find out the more influential motivation in influencing the members of Farmers’ Group of Catur Amerta Sari in the cultivation of chilies. The data in this study were obtained through interviews and observation methods, which were then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods.The research results showed that the intrinsic motivation is classified into higher category with achieving an average score of 4.17 and the extrinsic motivation is classified into high category with achieving an average score of 4.00. The more dominant influential motivation was the intrinsic motivation. This is due to most of the Catur Amerta Sari’s Farmers still cultivate chili plants in order to meet the needs of its physiology. The agricultural extension agents must coordinate the pest and disease control that still often attack the chili plants. The government is expected to provide support of agricultural production facilities and new innovations that can reduce the problems faced by the members of farmer groups.

ABSTRACT Main Activity Of Farming Of Fragrant Screw Pine (Pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) At Subak Tegenungan, Kemenuh Village, Sukawati Subdistrict of Gianyar Regency Indonesia is a tropical country, because geographically Indonesia traversed by the equator. The geographical position of Indonesia is very supportive the community to conduct agricultural activities. As the largest second contributor to GDP in Bali. Agricultural sector is still done mostly in Subak Tegenungan. The member of Tegenungan Subak from year to year there are convert its land to plant fragrant screw pine. This study aims to find out farm income of the fragrant screw pine, the value of R / C ratio of fragrant screw pine and constraints faced by the farmers. The results showed that farm income of fragrant screw pine equal to Rp 249,656,415.44 per hectare per year. The value of R / C ratio of fragrant screw pine is 5,35 constraints faced by farmers of fragrant screw pine that are in input of urea fertilizer because urea fertililzer subsidized for paddy so that farmers of fragrant screw pine is hard to get it. Payroll System at CV. Pusaka Bali Persada Every company really needs the role of human resources in carrying out its businessactivities and must be managed properly. Human resources function to improve theeffectiveness and efficiency of a company as a function in the company. One way to getcompeting human resources is to pay attention to the payroll system in a company. Thepayroll system itself aims to attract employees, retain employees, and motivateemployees.This research was conducted at CV. Bali Persada Heritage which is determinedintentionally. Sampling using techniques with census methods. The number of samplesis 12 respondents consisting of top managers and middle managers. This study usesqualitative descriptive analysis.The results showed that the salaries of employees at CV. Pusaka Bali Persada consistsof basic salary and benefits. CV. Pusaka Bali Persada provides basic salary by referringto the District / City Minimum Wage (UMK) that has been set by the government.Paying is done with a payroll administration system. The results of this study also showthat the determinants of payroll system in CV. Pusaka Bali Persada includes payrolltechniques, payroll procedures, payroll structure, payroll openness, government support,and payroll policies. The majority of top managers and middle managers agree with thepayroll system that has been applied by CV. Pusaka Bali Persada.

ABSTRACT Break Even and Marketing Mix of Rosella Flowers at UD Bali Gendis in The Village Dawan Kelod, District of Dawan, Sub District of Klungkung The research was conducted from early November 2012 until the end of January 2013 with the aim to determine the break-even of business gained and marketing mix applied by UD Bali Gendis. The analysis applied is the analysis of Break Even Point (BEP) to determine how much break even earned, both in the form of rupiah breakeven, breakeven point in units and breakeven point based on the corresponding gains desired by companies. The other analysis is the marketing mix applied to the analysis of the 4P (Product, Price, Place, and Promotion). UD Bali Gendis has production beyond breakeven point obtained in which in the form of rupiah at Rp 20,313,277.73 and produced Rosella flower tea production above the breakeven point unit is equal to 1354.21 units with a unit selling price of Rp 15.000 per box. From the analysis of the marketing mix it was found that the products produced by UD. Bali Gendis including consumable products. Pricing method used is the method of cost plus pricing and distribution channel marketing using direct and indirect distribution. The Marketing Strategy Salted Peanut Women Farmers Group Sinar Rejeki in Jumpai Village, Klungkung District, Klungkung RegencyThe marketing strategy is a fundamental statement about the impact expected to be achieved in terms of demand on the specified target market. Oriented marketing strategy to create added value for customers and establish cooperative relationships with customers. The marketing strategy has a broad scope in the field of marketing include the strategy in the face of competitors, pricing strategy, product strategy, and so on. This study aims to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and strategies that must be done by the Women Farmers Group Sinar Rejeki in Jumpai village, Klungkung District, Klungkung Regency on the marketing of salted peanuts. This research was conducted in November to June 2016 held at the Women Farmers Group Sinar Rejeki in Jumpai Village, Klungkung District, Klungkung Regency. Source of research data from primary and secondary data. The key informants of this study classified a key informant for the weights (Women Farmers Group Sinar Rejeki and Agriculture, Plantation and Forestry Klungkung) and key informants for the rating (customers and competitors). This method of analysis used in this research is the analysis of the enterprise environment consisting from IFAS matrix (internal strategy factors) and matrix analysis EFAS (external strategic factors), and SWOT matrix. The analysis showed that the matrix IFAS earn a score of 2,9 and EFAS matrix given a score of 3,55.

The Relationship of Social Factors of Farmers with Application of Hybrid Rice Cultivation Technology in Pulung Sub-Distrct of Ponorogo Regency Hybrid rice is a new innovation in agriculture. In its development as an innovation in agriculture, farmers must understand first about how to cultivate hybrid rice because sometimes farmers do not understand how to cultivate hybrid rice properly and correctly. The process of understanding in the implementation of a new innovation by farmers in farming depends on the social factors. This study aims to identify the level of social factors of farmers, to identify the level of application of hybrid rice cultivation technology, and to find out the relationship between social factors with the application of hybrid rice cultivation technology in the Sub-District Pulung of Ponorogo Regency. Sampling was conducted by saturated sampling method. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and rank spearman correlation analysis. The result of descriptive analysis shows that the level of social factor of farmers was in the low category with the achievement score of 1.56, while the application level of hybrid rice cultivation technology in Pulung Sub-District was in the medium category with achievement score of 1.96. The result of correlation analysis showed a strong relationship between the social factors with the application of hybrid rice cultivation technology by the correlation value of 0.837 ** positive direction of the confidence level at 99%. This means that the higher the level of social factors of farmers, the higher the application level of hybrid rice cultivation technology.

Determination of Cost of Goods Manufactured of Jack Beanson UD Laksmi Devi UD Laksmi Devi is an agro-industrial processing of jack beans. The businesscompetition is high, so it is necessary to establish the appropriate best selling price ofproduct through analysis of cost of goods manufactured price of jack beans. Thisstudy aims to find out the cost of jack beans manufactured by UD Laksmi Devi, Theresult of calculation of the cost of goods manufactured based on the components ofproduction costs and non-production costs, compare the difference in the calculationof cost of production from both analysis, and show sensitivity of cost to cost ofgoods of jack beans manufactured with sensitivity analysis. Analysis of cost of goodsmanufactured are calculated only one month, namely December 2016. Calculationof the cost of goods manufactured per unit by UD Laksmi Devi Rp 28.887,33, whilethe value through the analysis of cost of goods manufactured that takes into accountthe components of production and non-production costs amount to Rp 31.529,83.Component of costs incurred by UD Laksmi Devi only production costs, making itlook bigger profits of Rp 22.005.612, compared by researched in the analysis of costof goods manuafactured only Rp 12.492.612. The difference shows that the analysisof cost of goods manufactured based on production costs and non-production costs isgood to applicate because the costs are detailed, so the cost of good manufactured areaccurate as the basic for determining the selling price of jack beans in UD LaksmiDevi.

ABSTRACT Financial Analysis and Added Value Manufacturing of Arabica Coffee at Farm Cooperative of Manik Sedana Bangli Regency The study aims to analyze added value and feasibility study of Arabica Coffee manufacturing at Farm Cooperative of Manik Sedana. Survey method was used to gather primary data from five persons of management board of the company. Secondary data related to this study were collected from appropiate sources. The added value for one production cycle was accounted by using Hayami et al method and feasibility study implemented discounted criteria (NPV, IRR, Net B/C and sensitivity analyze) during the 10 years as economic life of project on rate 6% . The process from fresh to HS coffee and from fresh to powder coffee yielded additional value of IDR 1,875.05 and IDR 6,642.34 per kilogam fresh coffee. Based on investment criteria, the processing of Arabica Coffee was financially feasible indicated by NPV = IDR 667,757,620; IRR = 28.70%; Net B/C = 2.00 . The Bussiness will be financially infeasible if both HS and powder coffee prices decreased. Key Words: value added, feasibility, manufacturing of arabica coffee

Analysis of Wetland Rice Agribusiness System in Ecotourism Area (A Case Study of Subak Sembung, Peguyangan Village, District of North Denpasar) The existence of subak land conversion in Denpasar City causes Denpasar Mayor to issue a policy to protect rice fields through development of Green Open Zone, especially rice fields for ecotourism purposes. Subak Sembung is a subak that becomes ecotourism area in the middle of the town. It is necessary to do research to analyze the system of wetland rice agribusiness in an ecotourism area. The purpose of this study was to determine the system of wetland rice agribusiness, profits and feasibility of rice field farming, as well as obstacles in the development of rice farming in Subak Sembung. The method used was qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis in the form of cost analysis, income, as well as analysis of revenue and cost balance. The results showed that upstream agro-industry subsystem, farming system, downstream agroindutrial subsystem, and supporting institution subsystem had a good relation. There is a special support institution (Subak Sembung ecotourism manager) that provides additional ecological and economic value through the sharing of the results of ecotourism management. The farmers did not receive a direct share of the management of ecotourism, but the farms earned a profit of Rp. 6,996,784.20 / ha, as well as the revenue and expense of 2.88. Obstacles faced by farmers were in the form of labor shortage of rice field tractor and pest insulation aphis. The conclusion of the research is the system of wetland rice agribusiness in Subak Sembung has been running quite well, rice farming is able to gain profits and said feasible to run in the future, and farmers experience barriers in the management of the farm.

Benefits of Insurance of Rice Insurance in Eradication of Damage Risk Because of Diseases (Case Study in Sangeh Subak, Sangeh Village, Abiansemal District,Regency of Badung, Bali Province) The rat attack that occurred in July 2017 resulted in 8.96 ha of land in Subak Sangeh experiencing crop failure so farmers get a claim of Rp 53,760,000. The granting of this claim is intended to enable farmers to cover losses due to damage to the previous planting season and to have the capital of farming in the next planting season. Based on that it is interesting to do research on the benefits of rice farm insurance in tackling the risk of damage caused by pest disease in Subak Sangeh, as well as farmers response to the program.Farmers' responses were analyzed qualitatively with attitude approach based on percentage of average score obtained through structured interviews using questionnaires. While the benefits of rice farm insurance are analyzed quantitatively based on the ratio of claims fund to production cost.The result of comparison of claim fund with production cost of Subak Sangeh in one planting season is 121,54% or morethan 100%, meaning rice farm insurance has benefit in tackling damage caused by pest, farmers response is positive, seen from the attitude of farmers in general agreed to the socialization and implementation of the program.
