Abstract

Abstract. Sales forces are fundamental to determine the smooth process on the marketing firm engaged in sales .One of the companies in the Magelang engaged in sales is PT. Armada Internasional Motor. The car sales process in PT. Armada Internasional Motor still uses manual system. The use of the manual system needs a long time to process car sales to customers. Documents of vehicle order must be approved by several parties by providing signatures on the document. Therefore a new system is needed to solve the problem by building a sales application. The application is built by means of Location Based Service technology useful to help register the location and Google Cloud Messaging as a provider of the information from the server to clients. This research produces the application of a sales system based on mobile android platform that has already integrated various parties and can provide facilities to sales.Keywords: Sales, Android, Location Based Service, Google Cloud Messaging.Abstrak. Karyawan yang memiliki posisi sebagai sales merupakan bagian penting dalam menentukan lancarnya alur proses pemasaran pada perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang penjualan. Sales di PT. Armada Internasional Motor masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam penjualan mobil kepada pelanggan. Penggunaan sistem yang manual tersebut membuat sales membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk melakukan setiap penjualan mobil kepada pelanggan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sistem baru yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan membangun sebuah aplikasi sales. Aplikasi yang dibangun dengan menggunakan teknologi Location Based Service yang berguna membantu pencatatan lokasi dan menggunakan teknologi Google Cloud Messaging yang berguna sebagai pemberi informasi dari server kepada client. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi sistem sales berbasis mobile pada platform Android yang sudah terintegrasi baik dengan berbagai pihak dan dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada sales.Kata Kunci: Sales, Android, Location Based Service, Google Cloud Messaging.

Abstract

Gereja merupakan komunitas beriman kepada Yesus Kristus yang melakukan berbagai kegiatan keagamaan. Dalam mengelola kegiatan yang padat tersebut, pusat administrasi gereja sering menghadapi risiko kesalahan manusia. Menghadapi tantangan digitalisasi, muncul ide untuk menciptakan sebuah aplikasi sistem informasi yang dapat mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, yaitu aplikasi pusat informasi gereja. Tujuan dari aplikasi ini adalah membantu kelancaran kegiatan gereja dan mempermudah proses administrasi dalam setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi pusat informasi gereja yang dikembangkan dapat diakses oleh seluruh anggota gereja melalui platform Android. Fitur-fitur yang ada dalam aplikasi membantu mempermudah proses penerimaan informasi gereja dan administrasi. Tampilan aplikasi juga diterima dengan baik oleh para jemaat. Skor rata-rata dari pengukuran tingkat daya guna sistem menggunakan metode SUS adalah 72, yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai grade scale C dengan adjective ratings good

Abstract

The development of technology in online transportation services like Gojek has a significant impact on meeting the mobility needs of modern society. The city of Salatiga, with many students from outside the island, has a considerable number of individuals without their own vehicles who prefer to use Gojek services. Therefore, research was conducted to analyze the preferences of students in Salatiga in determining the type of Gojek online transportation using the Naïve Bayes method. One hundred questionnaires from Salatiga students were collected, and the results yielded probability values for Gojek service preferences based on a combination of variables such as weather, load, destination, and time. It is evident from the probability values that weather and time variables play a crucial role in influencing users' decisions between using Go-Ride or switching to Go-Car. These results can provide guidance for Gojek in designing service innovations that are more responsive to user needs based on various specific factors.

Abstract

In the automotive spare parts industry, efficient supply chain management is the backbone of operational success. Amidst this complex ecosystem, companies face challenges in delivering fast, reliable, and competitive services, accommodating a constantly evolving consumer base with discerning preferences and rising expectations. This article aims to identify challenges in developing tracking and delivery scheduling applications for the automotive spare parts industry and improve system performance by introducing effective solutions. The research adopts a system development approach using the Waterfall method to produce a responsive and user-friendly web application, followed by functional testing using Black Box and evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS). Development of the tracking and delivery scheduling application using the Waterfall method resulted in a reliable and responsive application, with all system functionalities running smoothly. SUS testing indicated that the application has a good level of usability, with an average score of 77.5 out of 100. This study successfully provides relevant and efficient technological solutions to overcome operational barriers in the automotive spare parts industry, with the potential to enhance customer satisfaction and solidify the company's position as a pioneer in the automotive aftermarket sector. However, further improvements in application usability can be achieved through future iterations guided by user feedback and additional usability testing.

Abstract

IGiven the rapid development of technology, education in the field of technology becomes crucial for everyone. One of the roles of technology education in fostering someone's creativity can be achieved through learning about things that require creativity, such as animation in the digital world. The Information Systems Program at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia organized a community service activity in the form of a workshop on November 25, 2023, covering the introduction to the basic concepts of 2D and 3D animation. The workshop was facilitated by Edwar Juanda, S.Ds., M.Ikom, as the speaker, and was attended by 90 participants from high schools and vocational schools in various areas around the Banten province. The workshop proceeded smoothly, and the participants appeared very enthusiastic and active throughout the event. Particularly during the workshop session, participants took turns trying out Virtual Reality tools provided by the speaker. The evaluation through a questionnaire received a positive response from participants with a score of 4.12, indicating agreement. It is hoped that this workshop will provide a broader insight into the younger generation regarding the application of technology, especially in the creation of 2D and 3D animations.

Abstract

A recession is a significant reduction in economic activity and is spread across the economy at its greatest for more than a few months, but it can also be seen in Real GDP, Real Income, Employment, Industrial Production, and Wholesale-Retail Sales. Recently, there has been a lot of public opinion regarding the recession that will occur in 2023, especially in Indonesia, on various social media such as Twitter. Based on these problems, sentiment analysis was carried out on tweets to obtain information on the positive or negative polarity of these opinions using the Naive Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) methods to choose a more effective way in case studies to determine sentiment predictions. The steps are taken consist of data collection, processing data, weighting data, classification process, evaluation, validation, and results and discussion. The web scraping technique was used, and after going through the data cleaning stages, a total of 780 tweet data was obtained. The results of the classification test show that the SVM method has a greater accuracy rate with a proportion of 79.5% compared to the Naive Bayes method with a proportion of 72.5%. The SVM method's prediction results also show several 144 positive and 636 negative sentiments. Judging from the Wordcloud that was formed, it can be assumed that people are worried about their economic conditions, one of which is the unstable oil price which can trigger a recession.

Abstract

Media Sosial Tiktok sangat melekat dengan keseharian generasi Z yang saat ini masih duduk di bangku sekolah. Tiktok terkadangan membuat anak-anak usia sekolah menghabiskan waktu secara berlebihan bermain gadget hingga mengganggu waktu belajarnya. Untuk meningkatkan produktivitas di media sosial, prodi Sistem Informasi Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya menggelar pelatihan pembuatan konten Tiktok bagi pelajar SMA dan SMK di wilayah Tangerang, Banten. Narasumber pelatihan ini yang juga seorang influencer Tiktok berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan pelajar SMA dan SMK yang mengikuti pelatihan ini. Sebab pada proses pelatihannya peserta selain menerima penjelasan tentang materi berkonten, mereka juga langsung didampingi pada sesi praktek membuat konten Tiktok. Hasilnya, peserta semakin mampu membuat konten review kegiatan, review fasiltas dan tempat, dan konten informatif lainnya. Nilai pre-test dan post-test juga menunjukan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 74,4 persen pada peserta dalam pelatihan ini.

Abstract

In the contemporary era, technological advancements have significantly impacted various aspects of human life, offering increased efficiency and convenience. Indonesia, aiming to enhance international competitiveness, recognizes the importance of integrating technological innovation across economic sectors. Despite its abundant natural resources, Indonesia's vital agricultural sector faces challenges, including the limited adoption of modern technology, resulting in suboptimal productivity. This study focuses on addressing these challenges by developing the MyHydro mobile application, utilizing IoT and Progressive Web App (PWA) technology to enable remote monitoring and control of hydroponic systems. The research methodology includes literature review, user requirement analysis, system design, and black-box testing. Results show that MyHydro successfully bridges the gap between traditional farming practices and modern technology. Users can efficiently monitor and control hydroponic systems, enhancing crop yields and promoting sustainability in Indonesian agriculture. In conclusion, MyHydro offers a valuable solution to modernize Indonesian farming, aligning with global trends in smart agriculture. It empowers farmers and contributes to the nation's agricultural growth.

Abstract

Rose of Sharon Church (ROSC) Salatiga, as a rapidly growing spiritual community, faces challenges in managing the increasing number of congregants, especially during events and compliance with health protocols. This significant growth necessitates more effective attendance management to avoid overcrowding. This research addresses this need by developing the ROSC Worship Reservation application based on Progressive Web Apps (PWA) using the Flutter Framework. The application aims to simplify congregants' worship reservations, reduce crowds, and support church administrative tasks. The use of Flutter as the primary framework provides advantages in rapid development and a user-friendly interface. The results of the User Acceptance Test (UAT) show a high satisfaction rate, reaching 92%, regarding the application's functionality and user interface. Additionally, 84% of respondents state that the seating layout displayed by the application significantly aids in effectively choosing seats. It is hoped that the application will continue to provide benefits in managing congregational attendance systematically, efficiently, and in compliance with health protocols. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that the ROSC Salatiga Worship Reservation has successfully created an innovative solution to support church management amid the dynamic growth of congregational attendance.

Abstract

This research addresses the pressing need to enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency, particularly in the context of increasing demands and challenges in the healthcare sector. The background problem lies in the limited accessibility and inefficiencies present in traditional healthcare systems, exacerbated by factors such as geographical constraints and resource limitations. To overcome these challenges, this study introduces MyClinic, an innovative application designed to streamline healthcare processes and improve access to clinic service. Utilizing structured methodologies including BPMN, ERD, Use Case Diagram, and Class Diagram, MyClinic is systematically developed to offer clear functionality. Through Black Box Testing, the application's functionality is rigorously validated, demonstrating compliance with specifications and ensuring user satisfaction. By addressing these issues, MyClinic aims to revolutionize healthcare delivery, offering a solution that is efficient, accessible, and user-friendly. This research highlights the critical role of technology in addressing healthcare challenges and underscores the potential of innovative solutions like MyClinic to transform healthcare delivery in the digital age
