Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is one of infectious diseases in the world that can cause death. Public knowledge about DHF is very important so that it allows the emergence of community attitudes and behaviors related to prevention efforts that can reduce cases and mortality rates due to DHF. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the community toward dengue fever cases in Ulee Tanoh Village, Tanah Pasir District, North Aceh Regency in 2020. This research was conducted using descriptive analytic research method with cross sectional approach. The sample used was 149 respondents. Data were analyzed based on Chi-square test. According to the Chi-square test results, it was found that there are 3 respondents family (2.0%) experienced with DHF. The data analysis showed that there was a relationship between community knowledge and dengue cases in Ulee Tanoh Village, Tanah Pasir District, North Aceh Regency with a P value of 0.024 (P 0.05). However, there was no corerelation between community attitudes and DHF cases in Ulee Tanoh Village, Tanah Pasir District, North Aceh Regency with a P value of 0.802 (P 0.05). On the other hand, the results showed there was correlation between community behavior with DHF cases in Ulee Tanoh Village, Tanah Pasir District, North Aceh District with a P value of 0,000 (P 0.05).Keywords: Knowledge, attitudes, behavior

Abstract

Background:Depression is a natural disorder of feelings that can be characterized by states such as melancholy, sadness, helplessness. In this disorder also sufferers can lose appetite, decreased appetite can also cause a decrease in cholesterol triglyceride levels. Cholesterol is a component of fat. Cholesterol in the body if it increases will cause lipid metabolism abnormalities characterized by increased or decreased lipid fraction, lipid fraction disorder causes cholesterol attached to the blood vessel wall and cause atherosclerosis resulting in narrowing of blood vessels resulting in increased blood pressure (hypertension). Hypertension is a state of increased blood pressure more than normal. Increased systolic blood pressure more than 140mmHg and diastolic pressure below 90mmHg. This study aims to determine the influence of depression degree on total serum cholesterol levels due to Isolated Systolic Hypertension at an advanced health facility in Aceh Besar in 2018. Method:This research is Observational Analytical by using cross sectional design. Sampling using accidental sampling technique and got sample 36 people consisting of 8 men and 28 women. Result:In this study found that cholesterol levels have a very small negative effect that is not significant to the classification of depression levels. This is because variable of cholesterol level has p-value value α (0,467 0,05). These results can be concluded that there is no influence of cholesterol levels on the classification of depression levels in the study subjects.Keywords: Depression, Cholesterol, Isolated Systolic Hypertension

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus type 2 (type 2 DM) is a chronic metabolic disease that is one of the world's health problems with an ever-increasing prevalence. Controlling in adequate therapy reduces the quality of life of type 2 DM. The quality of life of DM tie 2 may be influenced by adherence to oral hypoglycemic (OHO) medications and blood sugar levels. The purpose of this study was to determine adherence to taking oral hypoglycemic drugs with blood sugar levels and quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes in Meuraxa Hospital Banda Aceh City. This study using analytic study with retrospektif design. The sample size was 53 people who gathered accedential sampling, quality of life was assessed using the SF-36 questionnaire, adherence OHO was assessed using the MMAS-8questionnaire. Blood sugar levels obtained from laboratory results or recording blood sugar levels of patients. The conclusion of this study is that there is a highly significant relationship between adherence OHO with blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes with a value of p = 0.00, and there is no relationship between adherence OHO with the quality of life of patients with type 2 diabetes with a value P = 0.34.Keywords: Compliance, Type 2 diabetes,Blood Sugar Level, Quality of Life

Abstract

DM is a metabolic disease with hyperglycemia criteria where the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin or effectively the body cannot use the insulin produced. In the world, International Diabetes Federation states that about 8.3% worldwide suffer from DM, by 2030 it will increase to 10%. In 2045 the prevalence of DM will reach 682 million people aged 20 to 70 years who suffer from diabetes mellitus. In Indonesia it has a prevalence of up to 9.1 million people diagnosed with diabetes and in Aceh has increased to 2.5%. The purpose of the research was to find risk factors wich related to DM type 2. This was a descriptive observasional with cross sectional with 30 samples with cases and control. Chi square test showed thet risk factors which related DM tye 2 is dietary habit (OR=1,09;95%CI1,24-0,15) and physical activity (OR=0,1246;95% CI 1,38-0,13). Logistic regression showed that dietary habits and physical activity had 64% influence to type 2 DM. The recommendations of this research are expected to be a reference for other researchers to examine different variables, locations and amounts.Keywords: Type 2 diabetes, diet, physical activity
