Abstract

Lack of activity and learning outcomes in mathematics is due to the learning model applied being less effective, causing students to be less interested in participating in learning. The purpose of this study was to improve the activity and learning outcomes of grade III students in mathematics subjects at SD Negeri 03 Polokarto Sukoharjo. The type of research used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of 2 cycles. The research subjects were 23 students consisting of 13 male students and 10 female students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The instruments used were student observation sheets, teacher observation sheets, test questions, and questionnaires. The indicators of success are the success of student learning activity through a questionnaire of 75% and the indicator of student learning outcomes through a test of 75% of students who meet the KKM 70. The results of the study can show that the Application of the Snowball Throwing Learning Model to Improve the Activity and Learning Outcomes of the Remaining Mathematics Subject of Class III of Elementary School 03 Polokarto, Polokarto District, Sukoharjo Regency, Academic Year 2024/2025 can be concluded that it can increase student learning activity in mathematics subjects of class III by 47.46% in the pre-cycle, in cycle I it increased by 69.85% and increased again in cycle II by 82.39%. The application of the Snowball Throwing learning model can also improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects of class III with results of 30.43% in the pre-cycle, in cycle I it increased by 65.22% and increased in cycle II by 86.96%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall educational games on the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Jenggrik 2 in the ecosystem topic. The research was motivated by low student achievement and the limited use of interactive media in science learning. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was used. The sample consisted of 27 students in the experimental class and 29 students in the control class. The test instrument consisted of 10 multiple-choice questions that had been validated for reliability. The experimental class applied the PBL model integrated with Wordwall media throughout the learning process, while the control class used conventional lecture-based methods. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test with SPSS version 26. Results showed that the experimental class had a mean score of 75.19, higher than the control class with a mean of 62.1. The t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. It is concluded that the use of the PBL model assisted by Wordwall has a positive effect on improving student learning outcomes in ecosystem material.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the cooperative learning model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) using crossword puzzle media (TTS) in the IPAS (Integrated Natural Science and Social Studies) lessons for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Alasombo 02. The research used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving both teachers and students. The findings indicate that the TGT model with TTS media successfully created an active and engaging learning environment. The lesson began with a conducive opening, followed by material delivery using interesting PowerPoint slides, and ended with a TGT crossword puzzle tournament. This approach successfully enhanced student engagement in actively and collaboratively understanding the material. Although there were some challenges, such as limited time and technical issues with the projector, overall, this model encouraged students to actively participate, improved their understanding of the material, and developed their social skills and enthusiasm for learning. The provision of rewards further strengthened student motivation. The TGT model with TTS proved effective in creating meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementation and the factors that influence the success of the Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students (P5) Project in fostering environmental cleanliness awareness through the dimension of mutual cooperation among 4th-grade students at SDN Tepisari 02. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design involving observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the P5 project at SDN Tepisari 02 was implemented as planned, with students actively participating in environmental cleanliness activities. The mutual cooperation activities, such as cleaning the school, sharing tasks, and maintaining cleanliness, successfully fostered a sense of environmental care and social responsibility. Additionally, this process reinforced the values of mutual cooperation among students, evident in their willingness to help and collaborate within groups. Teachers played a crucial role as facilitators, providing guidance and serving as role models. The study concludes that the implementation of P5 at this school is effective in promoting environmental awareness and mutual cooperation values among students, with strong school policy support and active student involvement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) kelas IV di SD Negeri Krikilan 1 Kecamatan Kalijambe Kabupaten Sragen Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025, serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dialami guru dalam penerapannya. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh dengan melakukan kegiatan wawancara yang dilakukan terhadap informan, yaitu guru kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Penerapan problem based learning dalam pembelajaran IPAS telah dilaksanakan di kelas IV dengan menyajikan masalah kepada siswa yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, selanjutnya siswa diarahkan untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut secara individu maupun berkelompok. (2) Terdapat kendala dalam penerapan problem based learning, yang menjadi penghambat yaitu beberapa siswa masih belum bisa kondusif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran dikarenakan siswa tidak semangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Hal tersebut terjadi karena factor kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk membangun semangat siswa.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah penerapan media flipbook dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Ngroto Bulukerto Wonogiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi siswa menggunakan media flipbook pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Ngroto Bulukerto Wonogiri. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Desain yang dikemukakan oleh Kemmis dan McTaggart, model penelitian tindakan kelas ini yang didalamnya meliputi kegiatan: Perencanaan (planning), Tindakan (acting), pengamatan (observing), dan refleksi (reflecting). Hasil penelitian siklus I didapat rata-rata persentase keaktifan belajar sebesar 64,0% dengan kategori cukup, dimana terdapat kenaikan keaktifan siswa sebesar 3,9% yang sebelumnya di pra siklus rata-rata persentase sebesar 60,1%. Sedangkan hasil tes belajar keterampilan menulis puisi pada siklus I terlihat bahwa rata-rata hasil tes belajar siswa sebesar 67,6 dengan kategori belum tuntas. Walaupun belum tuntas dalam siklus I terdapat peningkatan sebesar 9,7 yang sebelumnya di pra siklus rata-ratanya sebesar 57.9. Maka dari itu peneliti memandang perlu untuk melanjutkan ke pelaksanaan siklus II. Setelah dilaksanakan siklus II hasil keaktifan dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia sudah mencapai hasil interventasi tindakan yang diharapkan yaitu siswa yang aktif mencapai ≥ 80% dari jumlah siswa yang ada di kelas. Rata-rata persentase keaktifan belajar sebesar 85,6% dengan kategori baik/aktif, dimana terdapat kenaikan yang sangat signifikan sebesar 21,6% yang sebelumnya di siklus I rata-rata persentase sebesar 64,0%. Sedangkan hasil tes belajar keterampilan menulis puisi pada siklus II terlihat bahwa rata-rata hasil tes belajar siswa sebesar 81,8 dengan kategori baik/sudah tuntas. Pada siklus II terdapat peningkatan sebesar 14,2 yang sebelumnya di pra siklus rata-ratanya sebesar 67,6. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan penerapan media pembelajaran flipbook untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas IV SD N Ngroto Bulukerto Wonogiri sudah berhasil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar dan keterampilan belajar mata pelajaran PPKn pada siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Kaliwedi 2 Kabupaten Sragen Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penerapan PjBL meliputi tahap pertanyaan mendasar, perencanaan proyek, pelaksanaan proyek, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL mampu mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif, bertanggung jawab, dan mampu bekerja sama selama proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan belajar menjadi lebih bermakna karena siswa dilibatkan secara langsung dalam pembuatan proyek kelompok yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan nyata seperti aturan di rumah dan di sekolah. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme, kemandirian, berpikir kritis, serta keterampilan kolaborasi yang berkembang selama proses berlangsung. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa model PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar sekaligus keterampilan belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada jenjang awal.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to improve learning outcomes through a problem- based learning model assisted by domino media in the Grade IV Social Science subject at SDN 01 Wonolopo in the 2024/2025 academic year. The design of this research was classroom action research (CAR). Data collection techniques in this study included tests and non-test instruments (observations). The collected data were analyzed using a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The research design followed the Kemmis and McTaggart model. The results of the research showed an improvement in Social Science learning outcomes for Grade IV students at SDN 01 Wonolopo. This was evident from the evaluation data, which showed that the mean score before the action was 60.75, with a classical learning mastery percentage of 37.5%. After the implementation of the action in Cycle I, the mean score increased to 73.25, and the percentage of classical learning mastery rose to 68.75%. Following the implementation of the action in Cycle II, the mean score further increased to 80.5, and the percentage of classical learning mastery reached 81.25%
