Abstract

Prosocial includes all forms of action taken or planned to help others without seeing of the helper's motives. Many factors can influence prosocial, one of which is interpersonal intelligence. This study uses a quantitative research method with a comparative causal model. The sample in this study was 50 employees who were taken using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection in this study used the interpersonal intelligence scale and the prosocial scale. The data analysis used regression. From the results of data analysis obtained Freg of 0.2153 with Ftab 5% 0.279. Thus it can be concluded that there is no relationship between interpersonal intelligence and prosocial.

Abstract

Masalah prestasi akademik lebih sering terjadi pada siswa yang mengalami masalah psikologis seperti stres. Stres yang berlebihan dapat memengaruhi prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Salah satu permasalahannya adalah kurangnya resiliensi akademik mahasiswa, yaitu kemampuan mahasiswa untuk bertahan dalam berbagai kesulitan dan beradaptasi keadaan tersebut. Resiliensi akademik adalah proses perkembangan dinamis yang melibatkan faktor pelindung eksternal dan internal yang memiliki peranan penting dalam berkontribusi pada penyesuaian dan kesuksesan akademik. Salah satu faktor pelindung internal adalah regulasi emosi. Sedangkan faktor pelindung eksternal adalah dukungan sosial dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah dukungan sosial dosen memoderasi pengaruh regulasi emosi terhadap resiliensi akademik. Metode penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Subjek adalah mahasiswa Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan sebanyak 366 orang, diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian adalah adaptasi skala resiliensi akademik, skala dukungan sosial, dan adaptasi skala regulasi emosi. Analisis regresi moderasi (MRA) digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dari dosen memperkuat pengaruh regulasi emosi terhadap resiliensi akademik siswa. Mahasiswa yang memiliki dukungan sosial dari dosen mereka lebih mampu menggunakan strategi regulasi emosi yang baik, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kemampuan mereka untuk bertahan dalam situasi sulit.

Abstract

Grit sangat penting untuk keberhasilan akademik dan pengembangan diri karena membantu mahasiswa tetap fokus dan bertahan menghadapi tantangan, seperti tekanan akademik, ujian sulit, dan kegagalan. Kurangnya grit dapat berdampak serius, seperti mudah putus asa, stres, kehilangan motivasi, penurunan prestasi akademik, hingga berisiko putus kuliah. Tingkat grit seseorang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, termasuk pola asuh dan jenis kelamin. Penelitian tentang grit mahasiswa berdasarkan pola asuh dan jenis kelamin penting untuk memahami faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi ketahanan akademik dan keberhasilan mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian untuk menyelidiki pengaruh pola asuh dan jenis kelamin terhadap grit mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain komparatif. Sampel sebanyak 250 orang, diambil dengan teknik sampling stratified. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala grit dan skala pola asuh. Data dianalisis dengan two-way anova. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa ada pengaruh pola asuh terhadap grit, kemudian ada pengaruh jenis kelamin terhadap grit, dan selanjutnya ada pengaruh interaksi pola asuh dan jenis kelamin terhadap grit mahasiswa.

Abstract

Semua sekolah mengharapkan siswanya untuk memiliki prestasi tinggi yang bisa menjawab tantangan zaman serta dapat mengharumkan citra sekolah. Untuk bisa mencapai hasil belajar tersebut dibutuhkan kemampuan dan keterampilan dalam mengatur kegiatan belajar secara mandiri (self regulation learning). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara determinasi diri dan ekspektasi guru terhadap self regulation learning (SRL). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X dan Kelas XI SMAN 1 Waru Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan skala self regulation learning (SRL), skala determinasi diri dan skala ekspektasi guru. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi 2 prediktor. Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara determinasi diri dan ekspektasi guru dengan self regulation learning (SRL) (Freg = 1052,725 > Ftab 1% = 4,61).

Abstract

The development of teen personality does not always match what is expected. The events that they have experienced can affect their attitudes and personalities. It can be caused by many factors, one of which is the environmental factor, especially the family. In order to deal with any unpleasant event, adolescents need a capability that called resilience. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not difference in resilience between adolescents who living in complete families, single parent families, and adolescents who living in orphanages. The population in this study were adolescents in Pandaan and Gading Rejo. This research used quota sampling technique. The result of analysis data that used Anava-1 path is FOA=2,23 with ttab 5%=3.00 indicates that there is no difference of mean resilience adolescents who living in complete family, single parent family, and adolescents who living in orphanages. The hypothesis that there is a difference in resilience between adolescents living in complete families, single parent families, and adolescents who living in orphanages, is rejected.

Abstract

This research conducted to know whether or not the differences adolescents resi-lience when viewed from temperament types and AQ in SMAN 1 Purwosari Pasuruan. The sampling technique used cluster stratified random sampling. Data collected used temperament scale, AQ profile test, and resilience scale. Resilience scale with coefficient of point-biserial correlation between 0,30 to 0,50 and coefficient of reliability by 0,751. While the temperament scale (Ummah, 2010), for the type of temperament koleris with coefficient of point-biserial correlation between 0,33 to 0,49 and coefficient of reliability by 0,624. The type of temperament phlegmatic with coefficient of point-biserial correlation between 0,34 to 0,65 and coefficient of reliability by 0,776. The type of temperament sanguinis with coefficient of point-biserial correlation between 0,35 to 0,94 and coefficient of reliability by 0,824. The type of temperament melancholy with coefficient of point-biserial correlation between 0,31 to 0,78 and coefficient of reliability by 0,701. The data when calculated with variance analysis two lines. This result proof that types of temperament influence adolescents’ resilience are accepted at 1% significance level, where FoA by 3,91 is greater than F tab 1% by 3,78. AQ also influence adolescents’ resilience are accepted at 1% significance level, where FoB by 6,63 is greater than F tab 1% by 4,61.

Abstract

Learning difficulties are a problem that can arise anywhere and can be experienced by anyone. Learning difficulties are not always caused by low intelligence factors, but can also be caused by non-intelligence factors. Parenting has contributes to the development of children, including his personality and also in the learning process. This study was conducted to determine the causes of learning difficulties experienced of school-aged children. Method used qualitative research, with eskplanatoris case study. Subjects in this study is a school-aged children were 10 year old. Data gathered in this research is by using interview, observation, intelligence test (CFIT test), and graphic test. The results showed that learning difficulties experienced by subjects other than due to intelligence factors, also influenced by the parenting has received by the subject in the family

Abstract

The result of observation in some teenagers who have entering high school while living in the dormitory, will have many demands that must be done. Students who adjust to all kinds of tasks that must be done will feel depressed and stress, so the students need a resilience to can rise from the stress conditions. The existence of resilience will turn the problem into a challenge, failure to success, and powerlessness to power. This study aims to determine the relationship of teacher expectations with adolescents resilience. The population in this research is class X MAN 2 Pasuruan, with the sampling technique is cluster random sampling. Data collection using resilience scale with validity between 0,328 until 0,555 with reliability 0,8480 and teacher expectation scale obtained validity between 0,320 until 0,552 with reliability 0,8546. The results showed that teacher expectation have relationship with adolescents resilience, with rxy 0,669 > r-table 1% 0,230. Freg 80,5929 > F-tab 1% 6,63. Thus there is a very significant relationship on teacher expectations with adolescents resilience.

Abstract

Each individual has a different perception on the stimulus they receive, even though the stimulus is the same but the result will be a different perception. With the existence of a cultural, social teachings, and beliefs will give meaning to the object captured individuals, and ultimately the individual components will play a role in determining the availability of an answer in the form of individual attitudes and behavior of the object exists. In Indonesia, this latter phenomenon that often occurs about sexuality among adolescents, premarital sex secant-will now become a natural part of the channel the expression of love and affection (dating). The type of high school education in Indonesia is Public Institutions or Institutions recognized by the school and Religious Education or MA. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in perceptions about premarital sexual behavior among students at the Institute of Public Education (SMA) with students at the Institute of Religious Education (MA).

Abstract

Procrastination is behavior that is often carried out in everyday life. One of them is in the wor ld of education, where the students deliberately delaying to begin or complete the tasks assigned in school or so-called academic procrastination. Students often do it because, they are waiting for the right time to work with focus and uncomfortable study flow academic or not conditions. Academic procratination scale with coefficient of pearson product moment correlation betwen 0,303 to 0,638 and coefficient of reliability 0,899 and to scale the flow academic 0,313 to 0.681 with a reliability coefficient of 0.93. Thus, all the scale is reliable to use. This study uses 120 students were selected by stratified random sampling of 759 students. The regression analysis of predictors obtained Freg value of 8.319. Thus, there is a highly significant relationship between academic procrastination with academic flow. Flow academic influence forming 6.59% of the academic procrastination behavior. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis that there is a relationship between acadeic with academic procrastination accepted at significance level of 1%, which amounted to -0.257 r xy is greater than can be predid r table 5%. This means that the higher academic flow conditions of the students, the lower academic procrastination behavior of the student, and vice versa when the high academic procrastination behavior so low flow academic.
