Abstract

Numeracy skills are competencies that play an important role in supporting the quality of a nation. This skill is the focus of learning in the field of education, especially at the basic education level. The background of this study is based on the results of observations and interviews with fifth grade teachers of SD Islam Cahaya Ilmu showing that students' numeracy skills still need to be improved. Students look less active in participating in learning related to counting, less focused, bored and bored and even sleepy so that students still have difficulty in understanding story problems related to calculation. This research aims to develop media as well as test the validity, feasibility and effectiveness of monopoly media of adventurous traces with local wisdom of Semarang city. This research is a type of RnD research with the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research sample used was class VA as the experimental class and class VB as the control class with a total of 24 students. The data collection technique uses qualitative data obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires / surveys and quantitative data obtained through validity and effectiveness tests from the validation results of media experts, material experts and linguists as well as teacher and student responses related to the use of media. The results showed that the results of testing the prerequisites of research analysis using the normality test with the aim of knowing the distribution of normally distributed data or not. This test uses the shapiro wilk test because the data used is less than 50 with the help of Ms. Excel and SPSS 29. Based on the results of the normality test, the data obtained from the experimental class pretest results of 0.88 and posttest of 0.092, this shows that the data is normally distributed because the results obtained are more than the significance level of 0.05. Homogeneity test using SPSS is using Levene with the results of 0.758 (pretest) and 0.635 (Posttest) which means more than 0.05, meaning that the data from the pretest and posttest results are homogeneous. The results of the media expert validity test obtained a score of 4.7 in the very feasible category, material experts showed a score of 4.19 including the feasible category and linguists 4 classified as feasible. The results of the experts' validation show that this media is feasible, practically effective and significant to improve students' numeracy skills. Abstract

This study aims to develop a TIMSS-based numeracy test instrument for fourth grade elementary school students through the stages of development research. This study also aims to prove the validity and test the reliability of the instrument, analyze the characteristics of the test instrument based on item responses, analyze the practicality and determine the numeracy profile of test takers. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D with reference to the Four-D (4D) model, which consists of four stages. In the process of developing test instruments, student involvement was carried out in stages, namely, 19 students in the small-scale test trial and 90 students in the large-scale test trial stage. Data collection was carried out through several methods, such as interviews, distributing questionnaires, and giving tests. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative and quantitative approaches, where qualitative data was obtained from the results of the needs analysis, while quantitative data was obtained through expert assessments, the results of small-scale trials, and large-scale trials. The results showed that the TIMSS-based numeracy test instrument had content validity >0.80 on each item and instrument reliability level of 0.72. The value of agreement between experts based on the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) test also showed a figure of 0.72. Based on item analysis using the Rasch model, test items are distributed in four levels of difficulty, namely very difficult questions of 13.3%, difficult 40%, easy 30% and very easy 16.7%. Overall, this instrument meets the item eligibility criteria and is considered suitable for use in measuring the numeracy skills of fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a critical reasoning skills assessment instrument on sustainable development and scarcity materials for junior high school students. The method used was development research with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Lumbanjulu and SMP Negeri 2 Satu Atap Sibisa. The content validity of the instrument was analyzed using Aiken's V obtained a value of V>0.79 indicating validity in the aspects of content suitability, construction and language. Construct validity obtained an eigenvalue of 41.7% which was categorized as good. Empirical validity showed that 28 items met the criteria with an outfit mean square value < 1.2 and 2 items did not meet the criteria with an outfit mean square value > 1.2. Rasch modeling analysis shows the item reliability value of 0.86 and is categorized as good and the person reliability value is 0.81 including in the good category. The level of difficulty of the question is divided into 4 namely very difficult (7.14%), difficult (39.29%), easy (46.43%), and very easy (7.14%). Analysis of the practicality of the instrument obtained an average value of 91.25% which was categorized as very practical.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dukungan orang tua terhadap keberhasilan siswa dalam Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer (ANBK) di SD Inpres Tiom. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 51 orang tua dan siswa sebagai responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dengan skala Likert empat poin, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan hasil tes ANBK. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket dukungan orang tua, kesiapan guru, kesiapan siswa, dan pencapaian siswa dalam ANBK. Analisis data menggunakan uji validitas dengan korelasi Pearson, uji reliabilitas dengan Alpha Cronbach, uji asumsi klasik, dan pengujian hipotesis melalui uji F, uji T, dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukungan orang tua memiliki pengaruh paling signifikan terhadap keberhasilan siswa dalam ANBK dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 1,583, nilai signifikansi 0,000, dan nilai standardized beta sebesar 0,944. Penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa dukungan orang tua mencakup aspek emosional, teknis, finansial, dan logistik yang secara langsung mendukung kesiapan anak dalam mengikuti asesmen nasional. Temuan menunjukkan dukungan orang tua berkategori "cukup baik" (mean=65,8), sedangkan keberhasilan siswa dalam ANBK berkategori "sedang" (mean=63,1). Penelitian ini memperkuat teori Epstein tentang keterlibatan keluarga dalam pendidikan anak dan memberikan bukti empiris dalam konteks sekolah di wilayah 3T. Implikasi praktis menekankan pentingnya membangun komunikasi dan sinergi yang kuat antara sekolah dan orang tua melalui kelas orang tua, sosialisasi ANBK, serta program pelatihan singkat untuk mendampingi anak belajar digital di rumah.

Abstract

Tradisi Methik Pari merupakan salah satu kearifan lokal masyarakat agraris Indonesia yang dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas hasil panen padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai karakter pendidikan yang terkandung dalam tradisi Methik Pari dan potensi integrasinya ke dalam sistem pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library Research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi Methik Pari sarat dengan nilai-nilai karakter, seperti rasa syukur, gotong royong, tanggung jawab, disiplin, dan hormat terhadap alam serta leluhur. Nilai-nilai ini terinternalisasi melalui prosesi ritual yang melibatkan keteladanan dan pembiasaan antargenerasi. Lebih lanjut, tradisi ini juga mengandung unsur matematis, seperti konsep himpunan, geometri, dan perhitungan, yang menunjukkan integrasi antara budaya dan ilmu pengetahuan. Implementasi nilai-nilai Methik Pari dalam pendidikan karakter dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan kurikulum berbasis budaya lokal, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan keteladanan oleh guru dan keluarga. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Methik Pari tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ritual budaya, tetapi juga merupakan sumber pendidikan karakter yang efektif dan kontekstual untuk membentuk peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia, cinta budaya, dan bertanggung jawab

Abstract

Reading is one step in the learning process. Students will master skills, develop reading techniques, and learn to better understand what they have read. However, based on facts in the field, it shows that students' ability to read pronunciation is still not fluent, students still write sentences with incomplete words, and there are still students who have difficulty putting words together. Given these problems, researchers will use the APACIN (Observe, Think, Analyze, Create and Information) learning model. This learning development is carried out with the help of flash cards. Data collection techniques in this research used the methods: Observation, Interviews, Tests, and Documentation. The subjects of this research are grade 1 students. The initial reading ability assessment instrument uses assessment guidelines consisting of four aspects, namely: pronunciation, intonation, fluency, voice clarity. The data analysis technique in this research uses comparative analysis. This research was carried out in 2 cycles using the PTK flow according to Kemmis and Mc Taggart (1988) where each cycle consists of stages which include 1) planning; 2) implementation; 3) observation; and 4) reflection. At the time of the research there were 63% of the 30 students who did not have initial reading skills. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the measure of success of this research is considered successful if 80% of the total number of students in this research can read the beginning correctly.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Sosial Emosional (PSE) telah menjadi elemen penting dalam pendidikan, karena dengan adanya keterampilan sosial dan emosional merupakan kunci pokok bagi kesuksesan siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan PSE dalam domain pendidikan khususnya motivasi peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber dari buku, jurnal yang tercantum di Google Scholar dan Sciencedirect yang diterbitkan dari tahun 2021 sampai dengan 2024. Didapat total artikel sebanyak 443.868. Berdasarkan panduan PRISMA 2021 terdapat 14 artikel dipertimbangkan untuk tinjauan mendalam. Limitasi pada kajian yang dipilih terhadap penelitian yang menerbitkan jurnal peer reviewed menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PSE memiliki dampak positif terhadap peningkatan motivasi peserta didik, yang terlihat dalam peningkatan keterlibatan akademis, keterampilan sosial, dan kesejahteraan psikologis. Implementasi PSE juga berkorelasi dengan peningkatan prestasi sekolah. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam implementasi PSE, termasuk minimnya sumber daya dan kebutuhan akan pelatihan guru yang lebih intens. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa PSE merupakan pendekatan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dan perlu diintegrasikan secara lebih luas dalam sistem pendidikan Indonesia.

Abstract

This study developed a teaching material with augmented reality features that can be used to improve early reading skills in elementary schools, especially lower grades. This research used the ADDIE research and development model and was conducted at Pandansari Village Elementary School, Paguyangan District, Brebes Regency. The subjects were first and second grade students. Data analysis used a mixed method, using quantitative and qualitative methods. The results indicate that the augmented reality-based teaching material can improve early reading skills with moderate to quite effective results.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of local wisdom in science student worksheets for elementary schools. The method used is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the stages of collection, selection, analysis, and synthesis. Literature was sourced from Google Scholar, Semantic Scholar, Cross ref, and OpenAlex with a journal range of the last 5 years (2021-2025). Data were analyzed with Publish or Perish (PoP) and VOSviewer to map research trends. A total of 12 articles were reviewed based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Findings show that local wisdom-based science worksheets can enhance students’ interest and learning outcomes.
