Abstract

Clean and healthy living behavior is the main foundation for maintaining individual health and preventing the spread of disease. Education about clean and healthy living behaviors can be done in various ways, such as through counseling, campaigns, the development of educational materials, collaboration with health centers, training, the active role of schools, the use of social media, exemplary examples, and measurement and evaluation. Educational materials that are arranged in an attractive and easy-to-understand manner are the main instruments in this effort. Collaboration with medical personnel, involving health centers, and the active role of schools are recognized as important supporting factors. The use of social media is also integrated as an effective means of reaching a wider audience. By combining these approaches, it is hoped that people can better understand and adopt clean and healthy living behaviors in their daily lives. Evaluation of the effectiveness of educational programs needs to be done to ensure their success and impact on community knowledge and behavior.

Abstract

The influence of promiscuity among adolescents is increasingly a serious concern because of the negative impacts it causes, such as drug abuse, pregnancy out of wedlock, and declining academic achievement. This community service program aims to increase adolescents' awareness of the impact of promiscuity through educational socialization. The methods used include interactive counseling, group discussions, and case simulations. This activity in secondary schools involves students, teachers, and parents. The results of this activity are expected to increase adolescents' knowledge about the dangers of promiscuity, as well as encourage them to develop critical thinking skills in dealing with the negative influences of the social environment. In addition, this program aims to strengthen social support from families and schools in guiding adolescents to live healthy and productive associations. Through this approach, it is hoped that awareness and wiser behavior of adolescents can be formed in daily interactions.

Abstract

Clean and healthy living habits are an important foundation in preventing various diseases, especially those transmitted through bacteria, viruses, or germs. Good and correct handwashing and toothbrushing techniques are often considered simple, but their understanding and application in society is still not optimal. This program aims to increase public awareness and knowledge about the importance of washing hands and brushing teeth with the correct method as part of disease prevention efforts. Through an educational approach, the program provides hands-on training and practical demonstrations to the community, especially children and adolescents, on steps to wash hands with soap and brushing techniques that are in accordance with health standards. In addition, interactive counseling was held equipped with visual media and educational games to attract participants. The results of the program showed an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of personal hygiene as well as their ability to practice the techniques taught. This is expected to reduce the risk of infections, especially gastrointestinal diseases, and cavities, as well as build sustainable healthy living habits. This program has a positive impact in supporting the creation of a healthier and more productive society

Abstract

Adolescence is a critical period marked by significant physical, emotional, and psychological changes, especially related to reproductive health. However, the lack of access to accurate and age-appropriate information often leads to misunderstandings and risky behaviors. This community service program aims to increase awareness and understanding of reproductive health among adolescent boys and girls. The activity was carried out through interactive health education sessions, group discussions, and question-and-answer segments involving students from junior and senior high schools in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. The topics included puberty, reproductive system anatomy, personal hygiene, prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and the importance of making informed and responsible decisions. The results showed increased knowledge and positive attitude shifts toward reproductive health among participants, as assessed through pre- and post-activity questionnaires. This program highlights the importance of early and inclusive reproductive health education to support the development of healthy, confident, and responsible young individuals.
