Abstract

One of the efforts to control non-communicable diseases through Posbindu-PTM must be carried out on an ongoing basis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, these efforts need to be continued by providing the counseling and training the newest issues to health cadres on the application of health protocols when implementing Posbindu-PTM. The purpose of community service carried out by the STIKES Majapahit lecturer team is to increase the knowledge and skills of cadres in implementing Posbindu-PTM during the COVID-19 pandemic by implementing health protocols. This community service activity is carried out using the PLA or Participatory Learning and Action method, this method allows for community empowerment, especially for Posbindu-PTM cadres. The participants of this service activity were 24 cadres of Posbindu-PTM in Sumberwono Village, 1 Ponkesdes nurse, and 1 village midwife. The form of activity includes counseling and practice in implementing Posbindu-PTM by implementing health protocols. This series of activities was carried out for 1 week and the result was an increase in the knowledge and skills of cadres regarding the implementation of Posbindu-PTM by implementing health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

The decision to live at Pesanggrahan PMKS Mojopahit can come from the family or the wishes of the elderly themselves. Many elderly people experience physical and psychological complaints, some of which cannot be conveyed. Sometimes this complaint will cause depression. At this time, early detection of these complaints is needed. The method used for physical health examination is blood pressure measurement, a simple laboratory form random blood sugar levels and uric acid levels, mental health using a questionnairegeriatric depression scale. The target is all 48 elderly people at Pesanggrahan PMKS Mojopahit. The results show that the blood pressure of the elderly has a tendency to increase starting from grade 1 to grade 2 hypertension and isolated systolic hypertension as much as 29%. Uric acid levels show that the majority have uric acid levels within normal limits (56%), but 36% have uric acid levels that are high. high, blood glucose levels tend to lead to pre-diabetes mellitus as much as 21% and as many as 12% of elderly people have diabetes mellitus status. The results of mental health detection using GDS show that the majority of elderly people experience moderate depression. It is hoped that the management of the PMKS Mojopahit guesthouse will pay attention to these findings with the following steps; regular check-ups to maintain the health of the elderly, physical activity, leisurely walking and cardio exercise for the elderly, treatment of depression problems through group activity therapy and psychoreligious therapy.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pengendalian penyakit tidak menular di masyarakat dapat dilakukan melalui upaya optimalisasi program Posbindu-PTM. Pemberian pelatihan teknik relaksasi nafas dalam untuk menurunkan stress dapat menjadi salah satu kegiatan optimalisasi Posbindu-PTM tersebut. Pelatihan ini ditujukan kepada para kader kesehatan dan peserta Posbindu-PTM di Desa Sumbertebu. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan tim dosen STIKES Majapahit ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para kader dan peserta Posbindu-PTM dalam menerapkan teknik relaksasi nafas dalam. Metode yang di lakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu metode PLA atau Participatory Learning and Action. Metode PLA memungkin terjadinya upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat terutama kader Posbindu-PTM untuk melanjutkan transfer knowledge pada masyarakat luas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diikuti oleh 26 peserta yang terdiri dari 13 kader Posbindu-PTM Desa Sumbertebu, 1 perawat ponkesdes, 1 bidan desa dan 11 masyarakat yang hadir sebagai peserta Posbindu-PTM. Bentuk kegiatan meliputi pelatihan dan praktik relaksasi nafas dalam serta pemeriksaan gratis. Rangkaian kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama 1 minggu dan dari hasil kegiatan di dapatkan data pengetahuan peserta pada teknik relaksasi nafas dalam menjadi baik sebanyak 53,8 % atau 14 peserta. ABSTRACT: Control of non-communicable diseases in the community can be done through optimizing the Posbindu-PTM program. Providing training in deep breathing relaxation techniques to reduce stress can be one of the Posbindu-PTM optimization activities. This training is aimed at health cadres and Posbindu-PTM participants in Sumbertebu Village. The purpose of the community service carried out by the Majapahit STIKES lecturer team is to increase the knowledge and skills of Posbindu-PTM cadres and participants in applying deep breathing relaxation techniques. The method used in this community service activity is the PLA or Participatory Learning and Action method. The PLA method makes it possible for community empowerment efforts, especially Posbindu-PTM cadres to continue the transfer of knowledge to the wider community. This community service activity was attended by 26 participants consisting of 13 Posbindu-PTM cadres from Sumbertebu Village, 1 ponkesdes nurse, 1 village midwife and 11 people who attended as Posbindu-PTM participants. Forms of activities include training and deep breathing relaxation practices as well as free examinations. This series of activities was carried out for 1 week and from the results of the activities, it was found that the participants' knowledge data on deep breathing relaxation techniques became good as much as 53.8% or 14 participants.

Abstract

The developmental stage of the elderly is the final stage in a person's life cycle. During this time there are many changes and problems that can occur, but the elderly still need to get care when they have health problems. One of the activities that can be carried out to improve care efforts for the elderly is by providing long-term care training for the elderly. The purpose of this training is as a form of dedication from STIKES Majapahit lecturers to the community so that elderly posyandu cadres in Mojokerto Regency have the ability to provide long-term care for the elderly. This community service activity uses the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) method. The PLA method enables the participation and activeness of the elderly posyandu cadres. Participants in this activity were elderly cadres throughout Mojokerto Regency, totaling 1,216 cadres from 27 Community Health Centers in the Mojokerto Regency area and carried out in 2 batches. The time for implementing this community service activity was carried out for 4 months, from September to November 2022. The results of this activity were an increase in knowledge of 91% and a positive attitude of cadres in terms of long-term care for the elderly by 89%.
