Abstract

This study aims to determine and evaluate the effect of ROA (Return on Assets), Third Party Funds (TPF) and Net Operating Margin (NOM) towards Musyarakah financing with Non-Performing Financing (NPF) as a moderator in Islamic banking in Indonesia 2020. This study used an quantitative approach and secondary data in the form of quarterly financial reports of all Islamic banks which listed on the OJK official website. Data was analyzed with multiple regression analysis. This study applied classical assumption test, including: normality test, heteroscedasticity test, multicollinearity test and autocorrelation test. The hypothesis was tested using the t-test and F-test. The moderating effect was tested using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the Macro Process 3.1 syntax tool developed by Andrew F. Hayes. The results of this study showed several findings. First, ROA, TPF and NOM had a partial effect on musyarakah financing. Second, ROA, TPF and NOM simultaneously on musyarakah financing. Third, NPF was able to moderate the effect of ROA and NOM on musyarakah financing, however NPF did not moderate the influence of DPK on musyarakah financing.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the harmonization of social and religious values within Sharia economic practices, focusing on the Indonesian context. The objective is to understand how these values can be integrated into everyday economic activities to promote ethical behavior and community welfare. Utilizing a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology, the research synthesizes various academic sources to identify key themes, trends, and insights. The thematic analysis reveals that education and awareness are crucial in fostering a Sharia-compliant economic environment. The findings highlight the significant role of Islamic finance in aligning financial practices with social values such as equity and justice, which are essential for community development. Additionally, the research identifies challenges, including diverse religious interpretations and limited awareness, which hinder the growth of Islamic economics in a pluralistic society. The study concludes that targeted educational initiatives and robust regulatory frameworks are necessary to facilitate the acceptance and effectiveness of Sharia economic practices.

Abstract

This study examines the factors affecting stock prices in Islamic banking sector companies listed on the IDX for 2021-2022, with Price Book Value (PBV) as a moderating variable. The research method used is quantitative, with a sample of 3 Islamic banks listed on the IDX, including PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk, PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk, and PT Bank Panin Dubai Syariah Tbk. The results of the study state that CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) has a positive effect on stock prices and DER (Debt to Equity Ratio) has a negative effect on stock prices, with the results of 0.035 (CAGR) and 0.001 (DER) <0.05. Meanwhile, ROE (Return on Equity) and PBV (Price to Book Value) do not affect stock prices, with a significance value of 0.401 (ROE) and 0.246 (PBV) > 0.05. All variables influence stock prices with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. PBV as a moderator can only moderate DER with a p-value of 0.0081 <0.05. PBV does not moderate CAGR and ROE because their p-value is > 0.05.
