Abstract

This research aims to increase teacher creativity and competence through interactive learning media using the Wordwall application at SD Negeri 1 Segedong. The background of this research is the importance of the role of teachers in delivering quality learning to achieve educational progress. Analysis of the situation shows that technological developments affect learning methods that must be adapted to the needs of the times. The problem faced is the lack of creativity in the learning process which can affect students' interest in learning. The proposed solution is training in the use of the Wordwall application to create interactive and engaging learning. The results showed that the use of the Wordwall application can increase teacher creativity and student learning interest. In conclusion, the implementation of interactive learning media through Wordwall can make a positive contribution to improving the quality of learning in schools.

Abstract

The Workshop on Strengthening Merdeka Curriculum Instructional Modules at SMA Negeri 1 Sajingan aims to enhance teachers' ability to develop instructional modules in line with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This workshop is expected to improve the quality of teaching, strengthen teachers' competencies, and support educational development at SMA Negeri 1 Sajingan. Located in the Sajingan Besar district of Sambas, West Kalimantan, SMA Negeri 1 Sajingan is uniquely positioned near the Indonesia-Malaysia border. Through this workshop, the PKM team intends to provide valuable experience, share knowledge, and strengthen teachers' understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum instructional modules. The workshop is conducted using both individual and classical approaches. The classical approach is used for delivering theoretical content on instructional modules, while the individual approach is applied during hands-on module creation exercises. Preparation and authorization for this workshop took place in April 2024 at SMA Negeri 1 Sajingan, with the participants being the school's teachers. In the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, developing high-quality instructional modules is crucial for enhancing teacher professionalism, improving teaching skills, and boosting the overall quality of education. Well-designed instructional modules can aid teachers in creating lessons that meet students' needs and adhere to the Merdeka Curriculum principles. Therefore, this workshop is expected to positively contribute to improving educational quality at SMA Negeri 1 Sajingan and support the effective implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat bertujuan memperkuat pendidikan anti kekerasan dan kesetaraan gender bagi peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Rasau Jaya. Kegiatan pelatihan ini akan meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap isu-isu gender dan kekerasan yang masih ada di lingkungan sekolah, yang dapat berdampak negatif pada perkembangan sosial dan psikologis mereka. Dengan demikian, PKM dilakukan agar terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang lebih aman dan inklusif, sekaligus menurunkan potensi kekerasan berbasis gender terhadap peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program meliputi pendekatan klasikal dan individu, dengan kegiatan berupa sesi pemaparan materi, diskusi kelompok kecil, serta praktik langsung. Pendekatan ini bertujuan untuk mendorong partisipasi aktif siswa dan meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang konsep kesetaraan gender dan dampak kekerasan. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa mengenai pentingnya kesetaraan gender dan cara pencegahan kekerasan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Siswa juga aktif terlibat dalam diskusi yang mendorong mereka untuk berpikir kritis dan mengembangkan empati. Adanya perubahan sikap dan pemahaman siswa diharapkan dapat menjadikan mereka agen perubahan di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat. Simpulan kegiatan ini adalah program PKM ini efektif dalam memperkuat pendidikan anti kekerasan dan kesetaraan gender, serta dapat dijadikan model bagi sekolah lain dalam upaya menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, inklusif, dan bebas dari kekerasan. Indikator keberhasilan adalah tingkat partisipasi aktif siswa dalam berbagai kegiatan, seperti diskusi dan praktik langsung, menunjukkan keterlibatan dalam proses pembelajaran
