Abstract

The number of urinary tract sufferers is increasing, prevention of urinary tract infections can be held with vulva hygiene. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education on vulva hygiene on knowledge of prevention of urinary tract infections (UTI) in class VIII female students at Ash Shiddiqiyyah Integrated Islamic Junior High School. The method used is quantitative research using experimental research design, with one group pretest-posttest design. Total sampling amounted to 39 respondents. The results of this study with data analysis conducted using the Wilxocon Test, there were pre-test results before health education about vulva hyginene regarding knowledge of prevention of urinary tract infections. The conclusion that Ha is accepted means that there is an effect of health education about vulva hygiene on knowledge of preventing urinary tract infections (UTI) in class VIII students at Ash Shiddiqiyyah Integrated Islamic Junior High School. Suggestions from this study are expected that the community can increase knowledge about vulva hygiene for the prevention of urinary tract infections

Abstract

Indonesian health profile data in 2022 revealed that there were 30,154 cases of gastritis and included in the top ten diseases among sick people in Indonesian hospitals. Predisposing factors in the occurrence of gastritis are respondent characteristics, stress, and coffee consumption patterns. This study is a quantitative study that uses primary data (questionnaires) and uses cross-sectional research methods. The aim of this study is knowing the relationship between the stress and coffee consumption to gastritis. The sampling technique in this study used Purposive Sampling with a total sample size of 172 early adults in the Pondok Benda Health Center working area. The results of this study found that there was a relationship between stress and the incidence of gastritis (p-value = 0.037, α: 0.05) and there was a relationship between coffee consumption and the incidence of gastritis (p-value = 0.024, α: 0.05). Conclusion in this study is there was a relationship between stress and coffee consumption patterns to the incidence of gastritis.
