Abstract

This study investigates the impact of Al-Qur'an reading intensity on stress reduction among new students at Insan Scholar Boarding School, utilizing an expert system and PHP methods. Employing an experimental design and quantitative data analysis, this study compares stress levels before and after the implementation of an intensive Quran reading intervention. The data collection instrument uses a psychological scale, namely the DASS stress scale (Depression Anxiety own scale) adapted from the character lovibond & lovibond. Results indicate a significant decrease in stress levels among participants engaged in Quran reading activities compared to those who did not participate. These findings underline the importance of spiritual practices in stress management and suggest integrating Quran reading activities into mental health programs in educational environments. The study offers new insights into the application of spiritual methods alongside information technology to support students' psychological well-being, contributing significantly to stress management practices in similar educational settings. The implications of this research emphasize the need to recognize and integrate the spiritual dimension as a crucial component in stress reduction programs, as well as the potential for information technology applications to facilitate spiritual activities.

Abstract

Mathematics is taught from elementary school onwards. However, not all students are able to follow this learning well, but many students cannot complete and master the mathematical concepts being taught, which means their learning outcomes are still below the KKM. The study focuses on the teacher's efforts to improve mathematics learning outcomes when the teacher does not complete the task completely, namely. H. learning is still teacher-centered. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics in Fractions material by using concrete object props. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of SDN 2 Buyut Udik, Gunung Sugih District, Central Lampung Regency. The problems of this study are: low learning outcomes in mathematics from fractional material, teacher learning abilities must be improved again, teachers do not use the learning environment, learning is still teacher-centered resulting in low student scores. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data collection technique was carried out by posttest. The results showed that 10 students (45%) of the 22 students achieved the KKM before using the Betoniobjekti teaching tool. After using concrete object visual aids in Cycle I the number of students who achieved the KKM increased to 17 students (77%), which was then continued in Cycle II with the results of students who achieved the KKM to 20 students (91 students).

Abstract

Generasi sandwich merujuk pada individu yang memiliki tanggung jawab finansial terhadap dua generasi, yaitu orang tua dan anak-anak mereka. Istilah ini pertama kali diperkenalkan oleh Dorothy A. Miller pada tahun 1981. Generasi sandwich menghadapi tantangan besar dalam menyeimbangkan pekerjaan, pengasuhan anak, serta perawatan orang tua yang menua. Fenomena ini banyak terjadi di negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia, di mana sekitar 48,7% masyarakat produktif (25-45 tahun) masuk dalam kategori ini. Beban finansial yang tinggi, meningkatnya biaya hidup, serta tekanan sosial menjadikan generasi sandwich rentan terhadap stres, kelelahan fisik, dan gangguan psikologis. Mereka juga menghadapi konflik peran yang berdampak pada kehidupan pribadi, keluarga, dan karier. Ada tiga jenis utama generasi sandwich: Traditional Sandwich Generation, Club Sandwich Generation, dan Open-Faced Sandwich Generation, yang berbeda berdasarkan jumlah tanggungan yang mereka miliki. Beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan munculnya generasi sandwich antara lain kegagalan pola asuh, kurangnya perencanaan keuangan jangka panjang, serta budaya yang menganggap anak sebagai investasi masa depan. Untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, individu dapat melakukan perencanaan keuangan yang lebih baik, membangun komunikasi yang asertif dengan keluarga, serta mencari dukungan sosial. Selain itu, strategi untuk memutus rantai generasi sandwich meliputi manajemen keuangan yang bijak, investasi, pengurangan gaya hidup konsumtif, serta memperbaiki relasi antar generasi. Meskipun generasi sandwich menghadapi berbagai tantangan, peran ini juga dapat membangun ketangguhan dan memberikan nilai sosial serta spiritual yang tinggi, terutama dalam konteks budaya Indonesia yang menjunjung tinggi gotong royong dan kekeluargaan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development and challenges in the use of digital learning media in mathematics education through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The research method is qualitative, with data obtained from the Scopus database, which is then analyzed using Vosviewer software to visualize relationships between keywords, research trends, as well as collaborations among authors and institutions. The findings reveal that digital media, such as games and interactive applications, have improved students' understanding of mathematical concepts, particularly in geometry, which requires a visual approach. Additionally, these media have contributed to the development of students' computational thinking skills. However, there are significant challenges, including limited access to technology, geographical disparities, and difficulties in integrating digital media into local educational curricula. This study is limited to literature sourced exclusively from the Scopus database, potentially overlooking research from certain regions or in languages other than English. For future research, it is recommended to focus on the development of digital learning media tailored to local needs, exploration of artificial intelligence-based technologies, and evaluation of the long-term impacts of their use on learning outcomes. Moreover, international collaboration should be enhanced to expand the accessibility and relevance of digital learning media globally.

Abstract

This study develops a Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Student Activity Sheet (Worksheet) to enhance students' critical thinking skills. Using the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), the research involved Grade VII students at Nurul Iman Integrated Islamic Middle School. Data collection employed validation sheets, student response questionnaires, critical thinking tests, and observation and interview guidelines, analyzed through Miles & Huberman’s framework. Results indicate that the developed PBL-based Worksheet is of high quality, validated by material experts (average score: 137.5) and media experts (100.5). Student responses rated its practicality as good (score: 80). A Paired Sample T-Test showed a significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills, with a 41% increase (moderate category). Comparisons with previous studies highlight the Worksheet’s novelty, while addressing limitations—such as sample size, intervention duration, and generalizability—would enhance its academic rigor. The findings suggest that integrating PBL-based Worksheets into instruction effectively supports critical thinking development. Further research should explore its applicability across different educational levels and examine the potential integration of technology.

Abstract

This assessment process aims to diagnose problems that occur in the General and Personnel Subdivision. The subjects involved in this study amounted to 4 people consisting of the Secretary of the Regional Civil Service Agency, the Head of the General and Personnel Sub-Division, and the Employees of the General and Personnel Sub-Division. The assessment method used is interviews and document studies. Based on the results of the analyst, it was found that problems related to the performance of the General and Personnel Sub Division are related to the lack of competence of leaders. This is related to managerial competence and personal competence, so that the work does not look optimal. In addition, there is dissatisfaction among group members due to the lack of interpersonal skills possessed by leaders.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan masa transisi dari kanak-kanak menuju dewasa. Remaja saat ini mengalami transformasi sosial akibat dari interaksi teman sebaya dan penggunaan media sosial di era digital. Remaja saat ini merupakan generasi yang tumbuh dengan akses luas ke teknologi digital dan media sosial. Teman sebaya berfungsi sebagai agen sosialisasi utama, dan media sosial memperkuat atau mengubah pengaruh teman sebaya terhadap perilaku dan kesehatan mental remaja. Artikel ini membahas teori-teori sosial yang relevan, dampak positif dan negatif dari media sosial. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa meskipun media sosial dapat memperkuat dukungan sosial dan memfasilitasi hubungan, ia juga dapat menyebabkan masalah seperti cyberbullying dan tekanan sosial. Artikel ini diakhiri dengan rekomendasi strategi dukungan yang efektif untuk remaja di era digital.
