Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the application of Assemblr Edu based biology learning media with Augmented Reality (AR) design can affect student learning outcomes on cell division material. This research was conducted using Quasi Experimental research methods with a quantitative approach. The type of research design used to measure student learning outcomes in this study is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Learning outcome data were analyzed using the Normalized Gain (N-Gain) formula, while the hypothesis was tested using the T-Test formula in the form of Independent Sample T-Test. The population used in this study was all class XII MIA students, consisting of 3 classes. The sample was selected through the Purposive Sampling technique so that 2 classes were obtained, namely class XII-MIA 2 as an experimental class (32 students) and XII-MIA 3 as a control class (33 students). The data collection technique used is a formative test with instruments in the form of Pre-test questions and Post-test multiple-choice forms with as many as 25 items, each item is provided with five alternative answers. Based on the results of the study concluded that the application of Assemblr Edu based biology learning media with Augmented Reality (AR) design can affect the improvement of student learning outcomes in the eyes of cell division material, in the low and ineffective category, so this method is not appropriate to be applied in class XII MIA SMA Negeri 1 Baitussalam T.A 2023/2024

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of Molluscs and Arthropods in the estuary ecosystem of Gampong Jawa, Kuta Raja District, Banda Aceh, and to develop the results of the study as a Zoology teaching module. Sampling was carried out from 22 to 28 May 2013, with two repetitions and an observation interval of twice a day. The method used was a line transect with a purposive sampling technique, using three line transects and three observation plots. Data analysis used the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, Simpson dominance index, Pielou evenness index, and density formula. The results showed that there were 768 individuals divided into 26 species. The diversity index (H') of Molluscs and Arthropods ranged from 2.55-2.61, dominance index 0.072-0.451, evenness index 1.042-1.094. The level of diversity of Molluscs and Arthropods in the area is relatively high. Based on the research results, a Zoology teaching module was developed that integrates knowledge about the diversity of Molluscs and Arthropods in the local estuarine ecosystem. This module is designed to improve students' understanding of local biodiversity and the importance of estuarine ecosystem conservation. In conclusion, the Gampong Jawa estuarine ecosystem has a high diversity of Molluscs and Arthropods, and the results of this study can be used as a contextual learning resource in teaching Zoology.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an ethnoscience-based educational video about the human skeletal system for 11th- grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Indrapuri, Aceh Besar. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) by Thiagarajan. The video, developed using the CapCut application, integrates the traditional Acehnese dance, Ranup Lampuan, with the concept of the human skeletal system. Validation conducted by three media experts showed a validity percentage of 79.41%, which is categorized as feasible. The ethnoscience-based video, using the Ranup Lampuan dance to teach the skeletal system, is designed to incorporate local wisdom into biology education. The Ranup Lampuan dance, a part of Acehnese culture, was chosen because its graceful and structured movements represent various functions of bones and joints in the human body, helping students understand the material in a more contextual and meaningful way. This educational video not only serves as a learning medium but also as a tool for preserving local culture and instilling cultural pride in students.
