<![CDATA[Abstrak - Sudah umum diketahui bahwa data multimedia jenis gambar mendominasi transaksi dan komunikasi di berbagai media layanan teknologi informasi. Setiap end-user berusaha agar gambar yang dimiliki memberikan kualitas yang baik saat ditampilkan atau disimpankan, terhindar dari kerusakan atau noise yang muncul. Parameter gambar yang utama dimiliki adalah pixel. Pixel yang tidak sesuai penempatannya menghasilkan noise pada gambar sehingga jika saat divisualisasikan menunjukkan gambar mengalami kerusakan. Pada penelitian ini telah berhasil menerapkan Teknik Gaussian-Filter untuk jenis gambar 2-Dimensi, dimana ada lima sample gambar yang telah diuji. Dan hasil pengujian menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan saat gambar sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan rekayasa dengan pola meredam noise yang dimiliki setiap sampling gambar. Setiap gambar diterapkan pola redaman yang sama sehingga diperoleh hasil yang objektif bahkan untuk gambar yang tidak memiliki noise atau cenderung noise cukup kecil. Pengaruh pixel sangat mendominasi untuk dilakukannya redaman noise pada gambar.Kata kunci: teknik gaussian filter, gambar 2-dimensi, noise, redaman, pola Abstrak - It is generally known that image-type multimedia data dominates transactions and communications in various information technology service media. Every end-user tries to ensure that their images provide good quality when displayed or saved, avoiding damage or noise that appears. The main image parameter is pixels. Pixels that are not properly positioned produce noise in the image so that when visualized it shows that the image is damaged. In this research, we have successfully applied the Gaussian-Filter technique for 2-dimensional images, where there are five sample images that have been tested. And the test results show a significant effect when the images before and after are engineered with the noise reduction pattern of each image sampling. The same attenuation pattern is applied to each image so that objective results are obtained even for images that have no noise or tend to have quite small noise.
