This research aims to determine the role of school principal leadership in changes in school organizations. This research uses a qualitative approach with a meta-analysis method which is carried out by analyzing data obtained from several previous studies. The results of data analysis show that the principal in improving the quality of education in the school organization has a very important role, namely: (a) the principal acts as the main leader in the school; (b) the principal plays a role in managing resources at the school; (c) the principal plays a role in teacher development; (d) the principal plays a role in supervising the learning process; (e) the school principal plays a role in curriculum development; (f) the principal plays a role in evaluating the performance of teachers and school staff; (g) the principal plays a role in developing a positive learning environment; and (h) the principal plays a role in creating innovation and change.
