Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the SQ3R learning model (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) on the critical thinking students. The problem in this research is the low of learning result on temathic learning in class IV SD Negeri 1 Surabaya Bandar Lampung. This research is a pre experimental designs research with one group pretest posttest design. The instrument used in this study used tests and observation sheets. From hypothesis testing can be concluded there is significant influence of SQ3R learning model (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) to critical thinking studens elementary school.Keywords: critical thinking, learning model and SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) terhadap berpikir kritis peserta didik. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah masih rendahnya hasil belajar pada pembelajaran tematik peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Surabaya Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre experimental designs dengan bentuk penelitian one group pretest posttest design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan lembar observasi. Dari pengujian hipotesis dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) terhadap berpikir kritis peseta didik Sekolah Dasar.Kata Kunci: berpikir kritis, model pembelajaran dan SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review)
