Abstract

Students' critical thinking abilities must be developed in elementary school. The Guided Discovery Learning paradigm is one applicable learning framework. This strategy will help pupils discover their learning concepts, promoting the development of their critical thinking skills. This research is to examine the use of the Guided Discovery Learning model on students' critical thinking skills. This research is qualitative descriptive utilizing a literature review methodology. Ten journals were chosen from a pool of thirty, derived from a search about the Guided Discovery Learning methodology and its impact on students' critical thinking skills. The findings of this research were derived from an examination of recent papers published between 2020 and 2024. The review results demonstrate that the Guided Discovery Learning methodology enhances critical thinking skills in primary school students.
