Abstract

Parenting style is a description used by parents for child care. Parenting style is one of thefactors that affect language development in children. The study was aimed to identify thecorrelation between parenting style and language development of pre-school children. The studyused cross sectional approach, total sampling. 40 mothers (90.9%) using democratic parentingstyle, 4 mothers (22,7%) authoritarian parenting style. The development of children's language isfound 34 children’s (77.3%) appropriate, 10 children’s (22.7%) with the result ofdoubtful. Showa correlation between parenting style and language development of pre-school children (age of 3-6 years old) (p= 0,032). The parenting style is one of the factors that influence the languagedevelopment of children; it is because the communication and interaction between children andparents have an important role so that children have language skills in accordance with thestages of the children's age.

Abstract

Pada dasarnya orangtua berkewajiban dan bertanggung jawab dalam tugas mendidik anak dengan memberikan berbagai hal menyangkut kepentingan anak-anaknya, seperti mengembangkan kemampuan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan menjaga Kesehatan anak. Hal ini dikarenakan aktifitas yang dilakukan oleh anak ketika dirumah lebih kepada penekanan kemampuan berbicara dan bercerita kegiatan yang dilakukan dengan metode tanya jawab. Sedangkan anak usia dini lebih mudah mengerti dan memahami jika pembelajaran diterapkan dengan langsung praktek/menggunakan media, anak akan gampang mengingatnya karena langsung terlibat dalam kegiatan belajar tersebut. Permainan magic box dapat menstimulasi perkembangan bahasa anak tertutama dalam berbicara, bercerita dan penambahan kosakata untuk anak. Karena tujuan permainan ini adalah menambah kosakata anak saat anak menjelaskan apa saja yang telah mereka sentuh. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menambah kosakata anak melalui pemberian terapi bermain magic box sehingga saat mereka dapat menjelaskan apa saja yang telah mereka sentuh. Anak-anak menggunakan indra peraba untuk mencari tahu dan mengevaluasi pengalamannya tersebut. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada kemampuan anak untuk merasakan, mengamati, dan menjelaskan pengamatan mereka. Peserta dari kegiatan ini merupakan anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 13 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, terapi bermain dan diskusi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah mampu menambah kosakata anak saat anak menjelaskan apa saja yang telah mereka sentuh.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the condition of speech disorders experienced by children aged 5 years. Technical data collection is done through observation and interviews with children who are the object of research. The results of observations and analyzes carried out refer to psycholinguistic studies related to language disorders. It was found that the speech disorder experienced by Djiat was caused by a disturbance in his nervous system which was triggered by an injury or trauma during the prenatal period. Speech disorders are also caused by the lack of a good stimulus from the environment. Thus, children who experience difficulties in transformation really need communication activities. One of the symptoms in children with language and speech disorders is that there are pronunciation errors, both in the mechanism of the movement of the points of articulation and in the pronunciation. Handling that can be done for children who experience language and speech disorders is to do speech therapy, oral motor, and melodic intonation

Abstract

Analisis Perkembangan Bahasa Pada Anak Usia 3 sampai 7 tahun, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengenai perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia 3 sampai 7 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalu survey wawacara secara tidak langsung untuk meninjau mengenai perkembangan bahasa yang di alami oleh anak usia 3 sampai 7 tahun, sehingga dapat ditelaah secara konferensif dan mendetail melalui deskripsi hasil respon yang diterima. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perwakilan suara dari orang tua peserta didik di TK Siti Fatimah dan sebagian saudara dari peneliti yang berjumlah kurang lebih terdapat 42 sample. Peneliti menganalisis tiap hasil tanggapan dari wawancara tersebut. Maka beberapa masalah terkait perkembangan bahasa dapat diketahui dari 42 tanggapan tersebut, keseluruhan tanggapan cenderung merasa bahwa perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia 3 sampai 7 tahun sudah cukup baik, serta dari seluruh tanggapan yang ada mengakui bahwa perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia 3 sampai 7 tahun sudah berkembang dengan optimal Kata Kunci: Perkembangan, Bahasa, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Language is an effort of thoughts and feelings to convey meaning to other people which is used as a means of communication. This study aims to determine: (1) the development of language skills of children aged 5-6 years in accordance with the Standards for Child Development Achievement Levels (STPPA) and (2) to determine the development of language skills of group B children in Kindergarten Pembina 1 Medan. This research is a qualitative descriptive study involving 15 children in class B, data were collected through observation, document analysis and analyzed qualitatively using data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions. Then all indicators of achievement of language development can develop according to the level of development. The results of this study indicate an increase in children's language development in TK Pembina 1 Medan. This is proven by an increase in children's language development with an average number of BB 6,6%, MB 20%, BSH 66,6%, and BSB 6,6%. And with this final observation, the research can be said to be successful because the desired data has been obtained by group B children at TK Pembina 1 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 5-6 Tahun di Taman Kanak-kanak. Faktor penyebab rendahnya aspek perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan bahasa anak adalah masih terbatas dan kurang bervariasinya dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media video pembelajaran terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 5-6 Tahun di jenjang taman kanak-kanak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang dilakukan adalah eksperiemen deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian True Experimental Design jenis Post-test-only Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelas ibnu rusyd dan kelas ibnu khaldun dengan jumlah 40 orang anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan sampel jenuh. Teknik pengambilan data dengan lembar pengamatan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Independent Sample t-test SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh uang signifikan penggunaan media video pembelajaran terhadap perkembangan kognitif dan perkembangan bahasa anak usia 5-6 Tahun di taman kanak-kanak dengan taraf signifikan 0,000<00,5 artinya HO ditolak Ha diterima.

Abstract

The first years of life are a golden period for brain growth and development of children, especially language. Speech and language disorders are one of the most common causes of developmental disorders in children. The aim of this study was to determine the factors that most influence language development in children aged 1 year. The design used analytic survey with cross sectional approach, with a population of 80 respondents aged 1 year, with a sample of 67 respondents who met the inclusion criteria. The research instrument used a questionnaire and a Denver II sheet. Data were analyzed by logistic regression test with the results of the gender variable obtained ? value 0.013 and the care variable obtained ? value 0.044, then gender and parenting affect the language development in children aged 1 year. In an effort to reduce the prevalence of language delays in children aged 1 year, midwives should conduct early detection or monitoring language development that can be done by using Denver II to optimize children's language development. Abstract

This study aims to describe language acquisition in the field of syntax for children aged 5-6 years and describe language acquisition in pragmatics for children aged 5-6 years. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. The sample of this study were two children aged 5-6 years Masyithoh Kindergarten Karangasem Batang. From the two samples, it is known that in the syntactic aspect, children experience different developments from the ability to tell stories, answer the phone, talk without stopping and speak in slang. In the pragmatic aspect, children also have developmental differences in terms of understanding sign language and interacting with sign language. Researchers concluded that early childhood in the age range of 5-6 years experienced differences in the development of syntactic and pragmatic language. So, the researcher recommends that teachers understand the differences in these developments and stimulate students according to their development so that they continue to improve.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the development of language in children aged 4-5 years at TK Anggrek Kencana Batang, especially in the fields of syntax and pragmatics. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Examples of this research are two children in class A Tk Anggrek Kencana Batang. From the example of the two children, it is known that the syntactic and pragmatic aspects of children experience different developments. The author concludes that early childhood 4-5 years experience differences in the development of syntactic and pragmatic language. So, the researcher recommends that teachers understand the differences in these developments and stimulate students according to their development so that they continue to improve. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that aspects of language are very important to be developed in every child who is still in the developmental stage. Because children's language skills are very influential on other aspects of child development. Early education has an important role in developing children's potential. The teacher must use a method that is in accordance with the child's learning pattern. Every child has their own needs and effective learning patterns.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the language development of children aged 3 years. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, this research information obtained from the closest family of children, namely parents and relatives. The data collection tools in this study were in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. While the data that has been collected is then analyzed with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing (verification). The results of the research are the language development of children aged 3 years including: First, phonetics, namely the sound of language. Second, Morphology, namely changes in word form, and changes in word form to the meaning and group of words. Third Syntax, namely Ordering words in determining the meaning which is composed of Subject, Predicate, Object and Description. Fourth, Semantics is Knowing the meanings or meanings contained in each word in other words. And Fifth Pragmatics, namely Using polite language in appropriate situations. And the results of the achievements of the five aspects of language development of children aged 3 years that almost all indicators are achieved very well. Only pragmatic development indicators are still sufficient or are starting to develop. As for the overall results of the development of language knowledge, children aged 3-4 years can be said to have developed well.
