Abstract

The significance of the tourism sector in contributing to the economy of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, which is a major destination with millions of tourists every year. The rapid growth of tourism demands the integration of information technology, especially in the development of recommendation systems, to improve visitor experience and satisfaction and support sustainable destination management. The main problem faced is the need to develop a recommendation system that is able to provide optimal suggestions for tourist locations and accommodations, considering various attributes such as price, facilities, location, and user personal preferences. The problem-solving approach taken in this study is the application of the Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) Method. The research steps involve identifying problems, needs, and key attributes, collecting tourist location and accommodation data through Google Maps and Google Business Data. Furthermore, the raw data is subjected to processing and pre-processing before the MAUT model is developed. This model is implemented into a web-based application which is then tested using blackbox testing to determine whether the system is running properly. With the hope of creating a smart and sustainable tourism ecosystem, this study is innovative in using MAUT to improve the quality of recommendations in the Yogyakarta tourism industry.

Abstract

Many patients go to Dr. Finera Winda S. Tobing at HAMS Kisaran Hospital for the treatment of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae. Meanwhile, there is only 1 special doctor (specialist) who handles this problem. This makes it difficult for doctors to work optimally because it can cause human error due to fatigue at work, so a system is needed that is able to help doctors carry out initial diagnoses of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae and provide solutions to this problem. Based on the description above, the author implemented an expert system related to Mycoplasma Pneumoniae at HAMS Kisaran Regional Hospital. The author hopes that this system can help the public find out about Mycoplasma Pneumoniae earlier and help doctors diagnose patients. The research method used in this research is qualitative research, which is research that only collects data and explains it descriptively/narratively without having to process it with statistical testing. This research will only utilize data obtained from the research site and input it without changing anything. The results of this research are that the expert system for diagnosing Mycoplasma Pneumoniae is effective and efficient in helping doctors, Dr. Finera Winda S. Tobing and makes it easier for patients to consult because patients can consult with a doctor online and can find out their disease correctly so that this research can truly be achieved to overcome existing problems

Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has made a major contribution to increasing efficiency and security in various fields. One of the growing applications is the use of IoT in gas leak detection to maintain a safe environment. This research aims to design an IoT-based gas leak detection tool using the MQ-2 sensor with a case study at a village office. The tool designed integrates the MQ-2 sensor to detect dangerous gases such as Liquified Petroleum Gas(LPJ), propane and methane, and uses a buzzer as a sound warning and Telegram as a communication platform to provide real-time notifications. A case study was conducted at the village office to test the effectiveness of the tool in detecting gas leaks and providing a fast response. The research results show that the gas leak detection tool developed is able to accurately detect dangerous gases and provide early warning via buzzer and Telegram. The integration of IoT in this tool provides an efficient solution in maintaining environmental security, especially in village office environments. This research is expected to contribute to the development of IoT-based gas leak detection technology and provide guidance for the use of similar tools in various environments. In addition, case studies in village offices provide examples of relevant implementation in the context of environmental safety in the workplace.

Abstract

Optimal budget absorption in a region requires streamlined solutions. One such solution is simplifying the budget submission process through technology-based approaches. This study utilizes the SDLC methodology to create a durable application for Public Housing, Settlement Areas, and Human Settlement Offices, meeting their requirement for an effective budget submission tool. The SDLC method allows for continuous evaluation and development according to agency requirements. The outcome is APPA, a Budget Absorption Notification Application designed for the Public Housing, Settlement Areas, and Human Settlements Office in Jember. This application has helped to ensure that the budget approval process is not a sync point in achieving project deadlines. One of the aims of this research was to develop a technology-driven solution that could be implemented to increase optimal regional absorption which is expected can facilitate and accelerate budget execution and public service delivery more prettily than ever.

Abstract

Google Scholar is a search engine that serves as a platform for finding references from sources like articles, books, and journals relevant to ongoing or planned research. It aids students in discovering references aligned with their research topics or discussions. Nevertheless, challenges such as technical glitches in Google Scholar's servers, internet connection problems, restricted or paid access to articles, and the search algorithm's potential misinterpretation of user queries can occur. This research seeks to assess information systems students' satisfaction with Google Scholar's services and evaluate user satisfaction using the DeLone and McLean model. The analysis results show that of the nine hypotheses tested, seven were supported and two were rejected. The study implies that to enhance Google Scholar in the future, adjustments should be made to better cater to the needs of users, particularly students, in locating relevant and accurate references.

Abstract

PT Citra Sawit Indah Lestari is a business operating in the oil palm plantation sector. Based on initial observations, it turns out that the supply of inorganic fertilizer raw materials at PT Citra Sawit Indah Lestari has not been planned properly so that one time the raw materials run out during the production process, it often happens that excess orders for inorganic fertilizer raw materials result in the raw materials not being able to be used. . And the storage warehouse is full, which will disrupt the operations of raw material collection by employees. The aim of this research is to apply Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) in controlling inorganic fertilizer raw materials at PT Citra Sawit Indah Lestari to maintain the stability of oil palm fruit production. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. The results of this research are that the system designed is in accordance with the needs of PT Citra Sawit Indah Lestari and makes work easier in controlling inorganic fertilizer raw materials. The conclusion is that the application of the Economic Order Quantity method in managing the supply of inorganic fertilizer raw materials at the web-based PT Citra Sawit Indah Lestari makes it easier for business owners to manage fertilizer supplies well so that it is easier to order goods in the next period.

Abstract

The development of reliable security systems is crucial for protecting personal information and access control. Ear biometrics, which utilizes the unique structure of the ear, is a promising method for human identification due to its resistance to forgery. This research aims to design and test an ear biometric identification system using images of the right ear without accessories from five men, totaling 224 images. The preprocessing steps include resizing the images, converting them to grayscale, and applying Gaussian filters. Image segmentation is performed using Canny edge detection, followed by morphological operations such as dilation and hole filling. Features of the ear images are extracted using Gabor filters, and classification is carried out using Backpropagation Neural Networks. The system achieved an average success rate of 88.8% across five testing scenarios, with the highest accuracy of 94% in the first and fifth scenarios. Sensitivity for classes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 was 98%, 74%, 92%, 96%, and 82%, respectively. Specificity reached 100% for classes 1 and 3, and 94%, 97.5%, and 94.5% for classes 2, 4, and 5. Based on the results of accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity testing, the ear biometric system using Gabor feature extraction and Backpropagation Neural Network classification demonstrates good performance and potential for security applications.

Abstract

The use of credit cards in the modern era is increasing. Therefore, it is necessary to prevent it with the use of technology such as address verification systems (AVS), card verification methods (CVM), and personal identification Numbers (PIN). Dataset analysis needs to be carried out to analyze the history of transactions that have been carried out. In the fraud detection dataset, it can be seen that there are attributes that cause data imbalance. Class imbalance in a dataset is a significant problem in machine learning that can affect overall model performance. The number of majority samples is more significant in one class than the number of minority classes. This research used an oversampling approach using a combination of smote and tomek-link. The focus of this research is card fraud classification. Detection of imbalanced datasets or imbalanced classes is carried out using the Naive Bayes method as a classification algorithm. In addition, a combination of resampling techniques is also applied to overcome imbalanced classes in this dataset through the SMOTETomek approach. SMOTETomek is a method that reduces the number of samples by considering two adjacent data from the minority and majority classes. Meanwhile, from the problems above, the results of the performance of Naïve Bayes, which experienced issues with data imbalance in this study, a resampling method was proposed in the hope of improving the performance of the Naïve Bayes algorithm and in the results of the AUC ROC curve, the SMOTETomek method could improve the performance of the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The higher the ROC score. -AUC, the better the model performance in terms of its ability to differentiate between two classes, but the accuracy results do not experience a significant change.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are business groups engaged in the economy and are the largest economic actors in Indonesia that support the increase in Indonesia's economic income, Based on the latest data from the Cooperatives and SMEs Office of Bengkulu City in 2019 stated that the total MSMEs in Bengkulu City amounted to 45,702 MSMEs. This study aims to analyze the behavior of digital marketing adoption in MSMEs in Bengkulu City with the aim of finding factors that influence digital marketing adoption behavior in MSME actors and how MSME actors behave towards digital marketing adoption. This research is a quantitative research using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology-3 (UTAUT-3) Model. Data collection was carried out in this study by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents of MSME actors. Data analysis performed using SmartPLS 4 software. The results of this study show that Performance Expectancy, Social Influence, Hedonic Motivation influence the behavioral intention of using digital marketing in MSME actors in Bengkulu City. Performance Expectancy has the strongest influence with a path coefficient value of 0.481 which means MSME players adopt digital marketing because it can develop their business, help promotion, increase productivity, and increase business sales. While Habit and Behavioural Intention can directly affect the behavior of using digital marketing in MSME actors. It is known that the most widely used digital marketing platform is WhatsApp with 94% of users, the social environment has proven to be more influential than innovation from within MSME actors in adopting digital marketing.

Abstract

This research project examines the deployment of Business Intelligence (BI) utilising Tableau to enhance data visualisation at PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk, with a particular focus on the palm oil processing and sales sector. Palm oil is a significant commodity in the Indonesian economy. This study highlights the significance of accessing accurate data in order to inform business decisions. The implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) facilitates the processing of data from disparate sources into informative visualisations, thereby enabling the identification of operational trends and patterns. The methodology comprised the collection of data on a daily basis, the cleansing of said data using ETL processes, and the presentation of the data in a visual format through Tableau. The results demonstrated an improvement in operational efficiency and a reduction in the time taken to make decisions, while also providing insights that could inform strategic decisions made by management. It is anticipated that this implementation will assist the company in meeting market challenges and improving product quality and business processes.
