Al Ishlah Jurnal Pendidikan
This journal focuses on advancing scholarly research and critical discourse in the field of education. It publishes original research articles that address contemporary issues and emerging trends in curriculum development, instructional practices, learning processes, educational policy, and teacher preparation. The journal aims to contribute to the development of educational theory and practice in both national and international contexts. The journal also welcomes submissions related to environmental education and studies that examine learning through psychological, social, cultural, cognitive, and historical perspectives. Research that explores the interrelationships among teaching, knowledge construction, learner development, and educational contexts is particularly encouraged. Furthermore, the journal accepts research and academic discussions across a broad range of subject matter within education, including mathematics education, religious education, language pedagogy and English for Specific Purposes (ESP), natural sciences, social sciences, history, chemistry, and other related educational disciplines. The journal includes the following thematic sections: Learning: Theoretical and empirical investigations concerning learning processes and their development across diverse contexts. Issues and Trends: Analytical and interpretive essays addressing current educational, social, and philosophical issues. Learning in Everyday Life: Studies of learning experiences occurring outside formal academic settings, such as in homes, communities, digital environments, and cultural institutions. Teacher Education: Research on teacher preparation, professional development, and the broader conditions shaping the teaching profession. Education Policy: Critical analyses of educational policies, their principles, implementation, and effects on educational practice. Comments and Criticism: Scholarly dialogue aimed at clarifying, challenging, or expanding upon previously published works. Book Reviews: Reviews of recent publications relevant to the field of education. The Editorial Board invites manuscripts employing rigorous quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches that demonstrate academic originality and significant contribution to educational scholarship. All submissions must present a thorough review of relevant literature, articulate a clearly defined research problem or argument, and provide well-grounded conclusions addressing implications and limitations.

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze and understand the learning management system in learning effectively through a seamless learning approach at Islamic Elementary School Nurul Anwar. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The data collection technique is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. At the same time, the data analysis was carried out through the stages of data display, data reduction, and concluding. The results of the study indicate that learning system management through a seamless learning approach at SD Islam Nurul Anwar in making learning effective is carried out; 1) User-friendly, 2) User Interface, 3) Parental involvement, 4) learning with an online learning system, outside the network (luring), and mobile teachers (guling). This research has implications for the importance of teachers in utilizing various existing and available resources to make their learning effective as optimally as possible.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to learn more about how project-based learning models are planned, implemented, and evaluated at Sekolah Alam Cikeas Junior High School. This study employed a descriptive method and a qualitative approach. Observation, interviews, and documentation studies were used to gather data. This research shows thatthe management of project-based learning environmental education programs is carried out by the Sekolah Alam Cikeas Junior High School very well.The quality of the learning implementation has exceeded the quality of the implementation of environmentally sound learning when compared to other schools. The implementation of Project-Based Learning at Sekolah Alam Cikeas Junior High School, which focuses on character and moral development, will produce students who can compete in academics and overall quality.Management that has been done in an organised manner makes Project Based Learning implemented in a more measured manner and produces output as expected without wasting existing resources.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses the isomorphic learning model based on the Qur'an in early childhood Islamic education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method which was confirmed by three educators at PIAUD Amanah Bunda Tangerang during December 2019 to February 2020 through deep interviews. Research shows that in applying the isomorphic learning model, educators have several obstacles, namely: lack of parental support, lack of support from the surrounding environment, and lack of ability of educators to explore educational concepts in the Qur'an. Some of these obstacles can be overcome by conducting home visits, educational partners, and upgrading the study of the Qur'an. This study also shows that to foster noble character, it is carried out by introducing moral education, worship education and monotheism education. If associated with the isomorphic learning model, moral education is related to the disciplines of psychology, sociology, anthropology. While worship education is closely related to the science of health, nutrition and physiology. Finally, monotheism education is related to the science of neuroscience, aiming to optimize the work of the mind to study all of Allah's creations that exist on earth and in the sky. Thus, the isomorphic learning model based on the Qur'an which focuses on aspects of faith and morality as the foundation for early childhood Islamic education becomes an obligation to be implemented.]]>

<![CDATA[This research analyzes the ICT Competencies of Pre-services Teachers in Papua, including the Region of Sorong, Merauke, Jayapura, and Manokwari. This research aims to discover the students of Teachers' Training Faculty spread in Papua competencies on ICT. The measurement of ICT competencies is carried out using a model developed by Tondeur for preservice teachersusing questionnaires that consisted of 19 items. Questionnaires were distributed to Papua Region covering Jayapura and Merauke, West Papua region covering Sorong and Manokwari. Sixty-eight respondents became the data in this study. Data were analyzed using XL Stats to find the mean and standard deviation. The findings in this study were; the low competencies were found on Papuan Indigenous Pre-service teachers, and the high competencies were found in science discipline compared to non-science in Papua and West Papua Indonesia. The low ability of native Papuan students in managing information in the digital world is indicated by the lack of awareness of preservice teachers in developing a sense of responsibility in using ICT as a communication medium and activities involving ICT use.]]>

<![CDATA[The textbook is a practical learning tool for improving student writing skills; however, not all students learn from a textbook. For this reason, a lecturer must be able to design a textbook according to the needs of students. This paper describes developing and validating academic writing textbooks with a process genre approach in tertiary institutions. This research is part of the research development process, which consists of three phases: need assessment, design, and validation. Five experts were appointed to validate this academic writing textbook. Content Validity Index (CVI) is used to calculate the validity of textbooks quantitatively, with a score above 0.79 considered to meet the criteria. The validity test results state that the CVI of an academic writing textbook is 0.9, with a few revisions based on expert input and suggestions. These findings indicate that this textbook has good validity and reliability and can be used to write in college.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to provide an understanding of character education based on multicultural values in elementary school students. The method used is quasi-experimental to see the changes that occur after using mobile learning in class VI SDN Kadipaten 1 Majalengka. The population and sample of the study were the sixth-grade students of SDN Kadipaten Majalengka in the 2020/2021 academic year. The data collection technique used a test that was used to determine the student's tolerance attitude. Based on the data processing and analysis results, it can be concluded that the attitude of tolerance needs to be given a good understanding at the level of elementary school students. It is because elementary school students are at a stage where imitation is very high. The "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application can be a facility in providing an understanding of tolerance. It is shown that the results of the study indicate that there are differences in tolerance attitudes before and after using the "Smart-Ku" M-Learning application.]]>

<![CDATA[The practice of online learning during a pandemic is ideally able to provide independent learning for students. However, what happens is the loss of a meaningful learning experience. The research aims to describe the implementation of online learning in Banjarmasin and examine the selection of appropriate learning strategies in providing learning experiences for students. The data were sourced from structured interviews of as many as 15 students and five social studies teachers from 3 junior high schools. Structured interview data from the google form were tabulated, described, and analyzed by the social studies teacher in-depth interview through the restatement, description, and interpretation stages. The study results describe that choosing the right learning strategy has helped provide a learning experience for students during the pandemic. The learning strategy that can do is visiting teachers. Teacher visits are carried out with a clear schedule of regular attendance. In addition, teachers can take advantage of several platforms such as; zoom, google classroom, the personal messenger as learning media.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of learning in fifth-grade students at SD Negeri I Wonodadi Wetan through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type of cooperative learning model. The use of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model with the help of Tic Tac Toe media was chosen because the model was considered capable of growing students' enthusiasm and interest in learning effectiveness. This study uses qualitative research where this study uses analytical techniques consisting of data collection, data collection, and conclusions. Using the TGT model makes students learn from each other, causing students to work together. As for the effect of using the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model, there is an interaction between learning methods with high and low learning curiosity on the effectiveness of student learning. Cooperative Learning Method Team Game Tournament can improve learning effectiveness or performance, such as connection ability, activity, learning motivation, and student understanding.]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to obtain the professional development model needs of teachers in mastering digital technology to improve the quality of education. Technology development in education has forced all parties to integrate various educational activities according to current conditions. The research method used mixed research involving qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Data were collected through a survey which was completed with observation and interviews. Analysis of qualitative data is in the form of narrative through data reduction, data presentation, and concluding stages. In contrast, quantitative data is the result of digital technology needs presented in percentages. The analysis results show that digital technology is still not fully used in teaching and learning activities. This also impacts teachers' understanding of the technology application model in schools and students' achievement.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was conducted to develop a learning model by using the ADDIE model. The problem-Based STAD learning model was designed by Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery, and Evaluations. This research was done in the English Language Education Study Program of the University of Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai in Writing II. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that 1) The Problem-based STAD Type Learning Model has been produced through the ADDIE development model. 2) Problem-based STAD Type Learning Model that has met the criteria of validity. 3) The model is valid with the characteristics of the suitability of the research model development with the ADDIE procedure. English teachers can use this model to improve students’ skills in writing and motivate the students in writing English text.]]>
