Anatomy is a basic science that is important to learn and understand for both clinical students and medical students in general. In addition to studying several biomedical and clinical sciences, a medical faculty student is also required to study and know the anatomical system, where anatomy is one of the mandatory courses that supports science in the health sector, especially to understand the functions in the body. One method that is often used by some universities or colleges when carrying out their anatomy practicum activities is through the Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) method. PAL is a learning method carried out by fellow students and does not involve professional lecturers in the process. This study aims to explore in depth students' perceptions of PAL in the learning process at the Faculty of Medicine, Jendral Achmad Yani University. This study uses an analytical observation method with a descriptive analysis approach, and the results of this study explain that there are various student perceptions regarding the definition and benefits of the PAL method, as well as several factors that influence PAL in the teaching and learning process, including supporting factors such as good communication from students. peer tutors and the material provided by peer tutors is in accordance with the learning objectives. Factors that hinder the PAL implementation process include readiness for implementation, readiness for peer tutors, and readiness for peer tutors. In addition, there are also student perceptions regarding expectations for the implementation of PAL, namely the application of PAL in CSL, the use of technology, and evaluation in its implementation.

The purpose of this study is to draw a connection between the zoning system and students' self-efficacy in science learning achievement among senior high school students in Tangerang. The instruments used in this study included self-evaluation sheets, questionnaires, and objective test results from students in science subjects, among other things. Random cluster sampling was used in South Tangerang schools to select the research sample, which consisted of research objects collected from two public high schools. The information gathered was analyzed in a descriptive quantitative manner using the SPSS program, which was developed by IBM. Teachers from chemistry, biology, and physics are involved in this research activity, and they actively participate in research interviews. According to the science teacher's responses, it was discovered that there was an effect on student characteristics associated with zoning-based admission of new students. The science studies teacher was aware of the school's online acceptance of new students pathway, which was implemented by government recommendations. Student confidence in science subjects was rated as high, and a correlation between zoning-based admission of new students and student characteristics was observed.

The purpose of the study was to determine student attitudes towards the use of machine translation in Japanese classes, especially in Writing 1 and IV classes. Machine Translation is considered an online resource in facilitating the translation process. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data were taken from questionnaires distributed to students. Participants are semester II and semester IV students who receive Japanese Writing courses. This research activity was conducted at Darma Persada University, Jakarta. The data analysis technique used three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and concluding. The results showed that students were dissatisfied with the use of machine translation. This means that the student's attitude is negative. However, machine translation is considered to be able to help complete the translation task more quickly, but the translation results are not in the context of the target language

The purpose of this study is to strengthen the mental model of prospective elementary school teacher candidates by using the MIKiR (mengalami, interaksi, komunikasi, internalisasi, and refleksi) method, which is directed towards conceptual growth and is based on the MIKiR framework (CDOI Model). The research was carried out utilizing a pre-experimental approach with a pretest-posttest design in one group for this study. The research was carried out on pre-service primary teachers at the Universitas Riau, in Indonesia. The instrument used to collect data was a heat transfer conceptual understanding test (HTCU Test), which consisted of three sections of the question, each of which had previously been verified and evaluated to ensure that the participants were eligible. Using the MIKiR approach (experiencing, interaction, communication, and reflection), this study found that implementing the CDOI model of conceptual development-oriented instruction had a high level of success in enabling the creation of mental models. Furthermore, it can aid in the conceptualization and development of the concept of heat transfer and the formulation and overall knowledge of the concept.

Covid-19 is a pandemic that has been going on since the pre-pandemic period of the madrasah based pesantren is described in this paper. Researchers at MTs Ali Maksum conducted qualitative research. Triangulation was used to analyze the data gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings showed that the government-mandated online implementation of the direct learning model in pesantren-based madrasahs was successful. Based on evaluation results, there were limitations in the learning process starting from apperception to delivery of material, implementation, follow-up, and development of student competencies, resulting in problems in the next process. Before the pandemic, there was a gradual shift from face-to-face to online learning. It's also possible to combine the two. There are limitations to fully online learning, which is why pesantren-based madrasas consider blended learning as a solution.

The importance of vocabulary in the learning of EFL has been an indisputable matter in ELT. The inclusion of vocabulary in ELT materials is often accompanied with questions such as what type of vocabulary and how many words to be taught for students in diverse ELT contexts. Hence, evaluating the kinds of vocabulary in ELT materials is similarly important. This study demonstrates a considerably unconventional corpus -informed materials evaluation to assess the suitability of the vocabulary content of ELT course books taught at the State Islamic Institute in Manado with its ESP context. Four ELT course books taught at the four schools of the State Islamic Institute were analysed using the corpus-based methods. A special software designed for corpus linguistics studies called e Antwordprofiler was used to count the coverage/frequency of occurrence of three types of Nation’ vocabulary classification. The results showed that the examined course books contain sufficient coverage of English high frequency words as required by theory that they contain a total coverage of 84.14 % of high frequency English word enlisted in the General Service List (GSL). However, in terms of the coverage of academic and technical vocabulary, these course books content were still considered under the theoretically acceptable coverage of at least 12,4 % and 5 % respectively. It is recommended that for ELT course books that are used in ESP teaching such as in a field-specific Islamic studies programs, the course books should fulfil the minimum coverage threshold of high frequency, academic and technical vocabulary.
