Some studies investigated the use of synchronous and asynchronous learning in EFL classrooms. However, the investigation of blended synchronous and asynchronous learning use in the reading comprehension class was scarce. Therefore, the researchers in this present study focused on investigating the effectiveness of the blended synchronous and asynchronous learning implementation for teaching reading comprehension. This study aimed to know whether or not there was a significant difference in the students’ reading comprehension ability before and after the blended synchronous and asynchronous learning implementation. This was a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Meanwhile, the population in this study were three classes of the third-semester students of non-English departments of a university in Jombang. One class consisting of twenty-five students was taken as the sample using purposive sampling. The experimental students were given a pretest of reading comprehension before getting the six-meeting treatment of blended synchronous and asynchronous learning. After the treatment finished, they did the reading comprehension posttest. After all the reading scores were collected, the descriptive statistics, normality test, and paired sample t-test were applied using SPSS. The t-test result showed that the obtained t-count (11.616) was higher than the t-table (2.063). That result revealed that the students’ reading comprehension ability was significantly different before and after the blended synchronous and asynchronous learning application. Thus, blended synchronous and asynchronous learning was effective for teaching reading comprehension. Then, it is highly recommended for EFL lecturers to combine synchronous and asynchronous learning in their remote English classes.

The research method uses descriptive qualitative through surveys. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The research was conducted in 5 Islamic elementary schools in Ampenan Mataram District. Data analysis uses three stages, namely 1) the reduction stage is carried out by the process of data categorization and data collection. 2) The stage of presenting data, articles and observations that have been obtained is entered into a work table that has been prepared and then analyzed. 3) The conclusion drawing stage is carried out after the data analysis process is complete. The results of the study indicate that the leadership model in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the digital era has a character that is quite by the needs in the context of globalization. The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the role of religion-based habituation in the development of children's personalities in Besuk Agung village. Problems in the development of children are the subject of this case study, which focuses on a specific object. Observation and in-depth interviews are used to gather the information. Observations and interviews can be strengthened by documenting the results of the research. It is necessary to employ data reduction, presentation, and conclusion techniques when analyzing the data. Findings from the study show that religious habituation can help children develop their communication skills by providing ongoing learning and exposure to educational films, as well as by teaching them about Islam and its stories. It is thus possible to train children to control their emotions, learn to be fair, honest, helpful, and willing to share a high attitude of solidarity and mutual respect through religious-based habituation.

This study aimed to develop teaching materials to improve the mathematical understanding of the Pythagorean theorem material by using the development of teaching materials through the GeoGebra-assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach. This study uses the Borg Gall model's research and Development (RnD) development method with the Borg Gall model. The researchers collected data through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and tests of mathematical understanding abilities. The population in this study was 80 students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah class VIII, with 30 students in a limited trial and 50 students in a broad trial. Data is processed using descriptive and inferential statistics. This research produced a teaching material with a Problem Based Learning approach assisted by Geogebra software on the Pythagorean theorem material and indicates that there is an increase in students' mathematical understanding abilities after being given learning using GeoGebra-assisted PBL approach teaching materials.

The multilingual world demands educational stakeholders to adjust by embracing multilingual pedagogies. Translanguaging is deemed a prominent language practice to be implemented in educational settings, especially in the EFL class. However, the practice still obtains criticisms. Many scholars point out challenges in implementing classroom translanguaging. Therefore, studying attitudes, specifically students' attitudes, becomes significant at this point because it helps to reveal how students' feelings and thoughts of translanguaging practice are based on their learning experience. Further, their attitudes can be considered in the classroom decision making whether to translanguage or not to translanguage. The present study will generally continue what previous scholars have done but in a new context and methodology. This study investigated students' attitudes towards student- and teacher-directed translanguaging in Indonesian EFL classrooms. The participants were 40 grade VIII students from two EFL classes of a private boarding school located in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The data was collected using online questionnaires consisting of close-ended and mainly open-ended questions. The result showed that most students expressed negative feelings toward students-directed translanguaging. Meanwhile, teacher-directed translanguaging was more acceptable indicated by most students who had positive feelings towards their teachers' translanguaging. Students' arguments and comments were also interesting to be noticed. These findings shed light on a multilingual pedagogical practice and further research, which we would like to discuss further within this article.

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 is marked by advances in information technology so that the ease and speed of receiving information without any filtering make the vulnerability of problems arise among students. Youth or students are considered as future leaders. Today, many of them are involved in disciplinary matters and some worrying social problems. Some are interested in juvenile crime leading to criminal acts. Others were engaged in absenteeism from school and bullying. Several factors contribute to social problems, such as lack of parental love and attention, negative influence from peer groups, lack of religious education, and others. Discipline problems are the main factors inhibiting student academic achievement. Therefore, this study tries to raise the Handling of Student Social Problems in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection sources based on library research, namely from journals, books or other sources related to handling student social problems. The results showed that the social problems of students in the school environment that arose in the 4.0 industrial revolution era were divided into two, namely internal social problems that arise from the students themselves, namely difficulties in getting along and introverted personalities and external factors or social problems that come from outside the students, namely bullying. And coercion by parents. In this study, the author also explains the causal factors and how to overcome these internal and external social problems.
