Abstract

Abstract: Internal Corporate Social Responsibility has been heavily discussed in the academic research since the last decade. Despite the development of Internal Corporate Social Responsibility, focus of Internal Corporate Social Responsibility activities on employees has remained largely neglected. The aims of this study is to evaluate and measuring the Internal Corporate Social Responsibility such as Health and Safety, Human Rights, Training and Education, Work Life Balance, and Workplace Diversity using importance and performance analysis. The sample size of this research is 70 employee who work in PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (PERSERO) Terminal Petikemas Bitung. The results showed that Health and Safety, Human Rights, and Work Life Balance are placed in Quadrant II (keep up the good work), while Training and Education and Workplace Diversity are placed in Quadrant III (low importance and low performance). So, related with the findings there will be several recommendation to the management of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia IV (PERSERO) Terminal Petikemas Bitung.Keywords: internal CSR, importance and performance analysis.

Abstract

Abstrak: Dalam pembangunan pedesaan dibutuhkan peran sumber daya manusia sebagai pengelola dan pelaksana pembangunan. Perangkat desa yang memiliki etos kerja yang tinggi dapat menghasilkan kualitas yang baik dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Etos kerja merupakan sikap hidup yang diyakini oleh suatu kelompok masyarakat yang tercermin dalam perilaku, cita-cita dan pandangan yang terwujud sebagai kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penerapan etos kerja dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi etos kerja pada perangkat desa Kamanga Dua Kecamatan Tompaso. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian dengan cara deskripsi dalam bentuk kata-kata kemudian data yang diperoleh dapat digunakan untuk bahan referensi pemerintah desa. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer berupa hasil wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan etos kerja pada perangkat desa telah berjalan dengan baik walaupun ada beberapa masalah yang menghambat dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerapan etos kerja adalah Infrastruktur, Pelatihan dan Pembinaan, dan Penilaian Kinerja. Saran kepada perangkat desa yang dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk menerapkan dan meningkatkan etos kerja yaitu meningkatkan fasilitas pemerintahan desa, memberikan pelatihan dan pembinaan keterampilan kepada perangkat desa serta menerapkan sistem reward and punishment untuk meningkatkan semangat kerja perangkat desa Kamanga Dua Kecamatan Tompaso. Kata Kunci: etos kerja

Abstract

Abstract: Young people have been the majority shoppers online nowadays and thus this study to determine the most preferable online shop retailer for young consumers and to identify the criteria that influence consumer in selecting online shop retailer in Manado. The number of sample is 30 respondents of young consumers. This research used quantitative method. The method used in this research is Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method used to process results and paired options between. Decision-making issues with AHP are generally composed into criteria, and alternative options. In this research, AHP is used to compare each online shop retailer which are Lazada, Tokopedia, and Bukalapak. The result shows that Lazada is the most preferred online shop retailer by the young consumers, followed by Tokopedia, and Bukalapak. Further, the criteria with the highest influence on consumers in selecting online shop retailer is website design. Online shop in Manado, particularly in the online retail, could use the result as a guideline to help marketers design campaigns that speak to the fundamental concerns and desires of their targeted consumers such as website design, transaction security, time saving and shopping convenience.Keywords: analytic hierarchy process, consumer preference, online shop retail, website design

Abstract

Abstract: Internet users in the world increasing very rapidly and it bring so many advantages in so many aspect, especially in Business’s life, so nowadays there are a lot of business using Internet Marketing for to promote their business, and it called Internet Marketing strategy.This study aims to analyze the Effectiveness of Internet Marketing Strategy in increasing brand awareness case study of Bon-Bon Pisang Nugget Manado. This research are using qualitative research method that explore the theories from several journals, articles, books and previous research, the type of this research is descriptive research. Population in this research are all Elements that can be respondent about the Effectiveness of Internet Marketing Strategy of Emerging business in this case Bon-Bon Pisang Nugget in Increasing Brand Awareness which is all people who know or familiar about and ever bought Bon-Bon Pisang Nugget Manado. The data that gathered in this research are primary data and secondary data such as ; Interview and documentation. Abstract

Abstract : Entrepreneurship development in the last few years has indeed become an issue of economic institutions ranging from regional, national and even international. There are several motivations for people who would like to reach what they want to achieve. Some of the people say they want to become entrepreneurs because they can make money on their own and set their own rules. This study aims to test the influence of motivational factors as antecedent variables on student’s entrepreneurial intention. Three motivational factors are obtained in this research which are Tolerance for Risk, Need for Achievement, and Self-efficacy. These factors were adapted to explore on student’s perceptions toward entrepreneurial intention, the survey information collected from 100 students of Faculty of Economics and Business Sam Ratulangi University, and the sample used in this research is the students in 6th (student who have already studied entrepreneurship). The results indicate that students have high motivation for involving the tolerance for risk, need for achievement, and self-efficacy conversely influences directly positively and significantly to entrepreneurial intention. For University, should concern about this issues because it has the closest relationship with students life.Keywords: motivational factors, tolerance for risk, need for achievement, self-efficacy, entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

 Abstract: Job satisfaction is a worker’s sense of achievement and success on the job. The concept of ‘workplace performance’ means that the factor of workplace environment that is being provided by the employer to their employees that could support the employees performance at work. The purpose of this research is to know the impact of work environment toward job satisfaction at PT. Post Main Branch Office Manado. This research is using a Simple Linear Regression Analysis with total sample 40 respondents that were obtained from the employee at PT. Post Main Branch Office Manado. The result shows that work environment is significantly and positively impacts the job satisfaction. Which is mean that the environment of the company is really good. The employees feel comfortable and feel safety during their work at the office. The company  also provide a good facilities and treatments. Also, a factor that impact the job satisfaction at the company is effective communication between each employee and between the employees and the superiors. PT Post Main Branch Office Manado need to keep their work environment and keep maintain good relationship its employees. Keywords: work environment, job satisfaction

Abstract: Hotel Lagoon and Four Points have a place in the central shopping area and both hotels are very strategic, access to go to the mall is very easy. which makes this hotel has a difference is to parked in the lagoon hotel is very easy to find and the location of the hotel lagoon is quite far from the streets, lagoon hotel is located behind the Bahu Mall, while for Four Points own place one with Manado Town Square, for parking also had to share with Mantos and in the end it was difficult to find an empty parking lot. The location of the four points hotel is close to the streets so for access using public transport more easily. the price offered is also different. for the size of hotels such as lagoon can be categorized as luxury hotel but the price given by the hotel is cheaper than the four points hotel. while the price offered by four points higher., in terms of hospitality Hotel Lagoon has employees who cater to visitors very friendly and faster to respond than the Four Points, and seen from the design Lagoon has a spot to take pictures for the hobby by taking pictures and also distinguishes the Lagoon and Four points from its design, for the building design between the Lagoon and the more luxurious Four Points Lagoon than the Four Points. ­­Keywords: price, hospitality, design

Abstract

Abstract: Positioning the right employee in the right job would bring the positive impact for the organization. Organization required employee to perform well conducting their job. However, people can not stuck in one job to get multiple skill. They need to adapt to other job and will become an expert in it. This study aims to identify about the role of job rotation practices towards employee performance in Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) and to describe and explore The Role of job Rotation Practices towards Employee Performance in Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL).. This research is using qualitative research method that explores the theories from several journals, articles, books and previous research. The type of this research is descriptive research. Population in this research is the entire employee in KPKNL that ever experienced job rotation. This study found that job rotation bring positive impact for the employee, develop employee performance and there are 3 major factors which is efficiency, productivity, and quality that become the measuring instrument of employee performance. The suggestion for organization, before doing job rotation make  conversation with employee first. Abstract

Abstrak: Dewasa ini semakin disadari bahwa sumber daya manusia merupakan unsur terpenting, pemelihara hubungan yang kontinyu dan serasi dengan pegawai dalam setiap organisasi. Dari pengamatan secara sepintas, pada umumnya peran motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi yang sesuai bagi pegawai negeri sipil belum berhasil dengan baik dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasi. Lokasi pada penelitian dilakukan pada kantor Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah dengan jumlah sampel 128 pegawai. Analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Disarankan untuk penelitian selanjutnya untuk menambah variabel bebas yang lainnya sehingga dapat lebih memperluas lagi kaitannya pengaruh antara motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan dan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai.  Kata Kunci: motivasi kerja, kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi dan kinerja pegawai

Abstract

Abstract:. The online transportation is cheaper than a regular taxi fare in the city. Not only has the citizen, the online transportation also made the tourist easier to travel. The application also provides a several languages. The application also provides maps, which makes the consumer easier to find the place that they want to go to. This research aims to know which criteria is the most important for customer in selecting an online transportation in Manado and the most preferred online transportation for the customer. This research used analytical hierarchy process with the sample of 50 respondents that were obtained from citizen in Manado. The result from this research shown that price is the most important criteria for the consumer to choose an online transportation. The consumer wants an affordable price of the online transportation. Grab is the most preferred online transportation. Gojek and Uber as the competitors of Grab, should have to improve their performance, adding more promotions and make some different thing which is unique or something that the competitors does not have Keywords: consumer purchase decision, analytical hierarchy process
