Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults which self-esteem is important to be developed. Adolescence is considered as one of the main and dominant processes of social and psychological growth of personality. This study examines the influence of parents-adolescent communication and attachment on adolescents’ self-esteem in intact and single-parent families. The research was conducted in public and private high schools and vocational schools in the city of Bekasi, both those who have and do not have PIK-R. Respondents in this study were adolescents in SMA A, SMK A, SMA B and SMK B in the City of Bekasi. Taking school samples is done purposively. The population of this study was 687 people. Based on predetermined criteria, namely students of class X - XII with an age range of 14-19 years from selected schools in the city of Bekasi, then respondents selected from intact and single families then obtained the number of samples as many as 200 people who fit the criteria. Data processing is done by using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis (independent T-Test and multiple linear regression test). The results showed that family status had a significant positive effect on adolescent self esteem. Parent-teen communication has a significant positive effect on adolescent self esteem. Parent-adolescent attachment has a significant positive effect on adolescent self esteem. The implications of research, adolescents are expected to improve self esteem, especially in adolescents from a single family, for example, changing negative perceptions to positive (feeling yourself useless, worthless to be useful and valuable for others).

Abstract

Studi ini akan memaparkan tentang fenomena shadow state di Yogyakarta. Hal tersebut akan ditelaah lebih dalam dengan melihat organisasi sayap partai PPP, yakni Gerakan Pemuda Ka’bah (GPK) dalam pengelolaan alun-alun utara di Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, informan penelitian akan membantu dalam proses pengejawantahan hasil dan diskusi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan, pemerintah masih absen dalam penyediaan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat. Pemerintah pun akan selalu membutuhkan organisasi kemasyarakatan yang nota-bene memiliki basis kekerasan untuk memuluskan setiap aktivitas pembangunan.

Abstract

Industri kreatif, lebih luasnya ekonomi kreatif, dinilai sebagai salah satu kekuatan ekonomi yang bisa memperkuat ekonomi bangsa. Meskipun demikian, pengembangan ekonomi kreatif hanya terpusat di kota-kota besar seperti, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Denpasar. Pengembangan ekonomi kreatif di kota kecil seperti Purwokerto dan kota-kota di sekitarnya nyaris terabaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap potensi ekonomi kreatif yang ada di Purwokerto dan sekitarnya serta mengidentifikasi berbagai hal yang bisa menjadi pendorong maupun penghalang bagi berkembangnya potensi tersebut.Berdasarkan pemetaan yang dilakukan oleh tim peneliti, ditemukan bahwa potensi dalam sektor ekonomi kreatif yang paling menonjol di kota Purwokerto adalah subsektor desain fashion kaos. Tim peneliti menemukan banyaknya pelaku usaha desain fashion kaos yang berusaha mengangkat nilai-nilai budaya Banyumas dalam berbagai desain kaos yang mereka hasilkan. Kreativitas desain mereka sudah terlihat nyata meskipun masih memerlukan pengembangan. Bagi sebagian pelaku, kegiatan tersebut tidak sekedar dimaknai sebagai upaya mencari penghasilan, namun juga merupakan ekspresi dari identitas komunitas mereka. Selain itu juga ada yang menjadi desain kaos sebagai medium untuk melakukan kritik sosial. Peran pemerintah, terutama Pemkab Banyumas, masih dianggap minim oleh para pelaku. Padahal peran pemerintah sebagai fasilitator sangat penting mengingat besarnya potensi ekonomi kreatif.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Senior High School 3 Purwokerto is one of high school in Purwokerto which is appointed by the government to hold ADEM program to facilitate student from Papua. The problem appears when the student from Papua has to move and leave their culture to join Javanese culture which is a huge diffrent compare to their culture. This will cost a not easy way to deal with their new culture in their new environment until their project completed. The process of adaptation is interested to be discussed. This research is aimed to find out the way how Papua’s student deal with their new environment during their project and they finish it in Senior High School 3 Purwokerto. This research is done by using qualitative method with the subject of research is Student of Senior High School 3 Purwokerto. The process of obtaining sample is done by doing observation deep interview. The result of the study show that all subject research were in trouble with social culture adaptation, however they keep overcoming those troubles by making various adaptation strategic.

Abstract

Penulis bertujuan menelusuri perubahan pola pemikiran warga Tegaldowo yang sedang berkonflik. Mengetahui bagaimana kondisi tersebut mampu mempengaruhi kesadaran warga menjadi politis atas lingkungan hidup. Kesadaran tersebut tentunya disebabkan atas timbulnya masalah ekologi sosial yang secara langsung bersentuhan dengan warga, dan kemudian mengakibatkan transformasi tipe budaya politik warga parokial menjadi partisipan. Selain itu, warga konflik cendrung menjadi militan atas keresahan dan keterancaman yang sedang mereka hadapi. Kecendrungan tersebut dibuktikan dengan beragam aktifitas politik akar rumput yang mereka lakukan untuk tetap mempertahankan ruang hidupnya, seperti: (1) rapat-rapat kecil terkait siasat penolakan (manajemen organisasi dan manajemen konflik hingga kajian strategis), (2) mempelajari taktik pengorganisasian massa untuk penyelesaian konflik, (3) membangun relasi solidaritas antar elemen, (4) memahami undang-undang atau peraturan terkait konflik, (5) sampai pada mempelajari hirarki penuntutan dan mekanisme prosedural kelembagaan.
