Abstract

Lovebird is one kind of parrot that has an attractive feather color and distinctive sound. That's make birds form Africa have a fairly high selling value and some people are interested doing lovebird bird cultivation. The bird breeders have not yet realized the importance of recording on cultivated bird. Another problem that often arises in the field of aviculture is that farmers still record everything related to finance still in a manual way. The solution for those problems is by providing information system that can help farmers to collect data and everything related to activities of cultivation activities both in terms of data collection of cultivated birds and from the financial side used during the bird cultivation process. In this research, system development was carried out using the Rapid Application Development method and using an object oriented approach. In this research, there were 3 factors tested validation, unit, and usability. Validation and unit testing produces 100% valid. Whereas to test usability get overall points 0.94 which indicates that the system is usable for end-user.

Abstract

Software Defined Networking (SDN) is new paradigm in computer network management to replace a complex conventional network into the flexible and efficient network by separating the control plane and data plane.This concept lead the control plane define each of flow to be written into data plane. However, the space in the flow table is limited resource, requires careful management to prevent flow table overflow. This research discusses a flow entries management to prevent flow table overflow in SDN by proposing two mechanism of flow removal, that is flow expiry and flow modification. The flow expiry remove an expired flow based on its time, meanwhile the flow modification will be triggered whenever the flow tablespace is nearly full. The implementation of our proposal carried out on a stateless server load-balancing application on SDN. The evaluation results show that the system is able to prevent flow table overflow. Before implements our proposal, 53% of total packet did not get response from server. After implements our proposal, 100% of total packet can accommodate by flow table and get a service from server. In addition, the reuse of flow entries can reduce the value of network latency.

Abstract

PT. Kerta Betamala Trans is a company engaged in freight forwarding services in Indonesia. PT Kerta Betamala Trans has divisions to ensure business activities run accordingly, so that its business objectives can be achieved. Among them in the division at PT. Kerta Betamala Trans is Secretary and Finance. The problem often arises that there is an improper recitation data record. Because every six months there are 25% of 15 employees whose data records are not appropriate. This causes the recording of company data to experience a discrepancy in the recording data and harm the company in financial terms. Because of this, it is necessary to evaluate and improve business prosesses. Functional decomposition of value chain anaIysis is done to get the main business prosesses and get 4 main business prosesses. Then an evaluation of the employee payroll business prosess is carried out using the FaiIure Mode and Effect AnaIysis (FMEA) method, after an evaluation has been made the root of the problem is an error because the attendance data is invalid when calculating salaries. After the evaluation, treatment was carried out with tools StreamIining from Business Prosess Improvement (BPI) which aimed to get business prosess recommendations. From the StreamIining results obtained from the calculation of attendance which was originally manual using the attendance book replaced to attendance using biometric attendance (fingerprint) and get the biggest difference from the results of the simulation simulation prosess found in the employee payroll business prosess with a percentage increase of 70.52%.

Abstract

Online auction is an auction method that can be accessed online. Auction is a method of making a sale by bidding with an increasing value in accordance with the provisions of the price provided by the auctioneer. In the lovebird bird lovers community, there is still no integrated system in terms of management and selling for owned birds. To solve this problem, an auction system is developed. This auction system provides a feature to view the ongoing auction list and detailed information on the auction such as birds being sold, information about the time and number of recent bids, comments on ongoing auctions and bidding history list at the auction, making auctions directly, a list of transactions that must be met as well as information on auctions that the user has. This system was developed on the android platform using the Kotlin programming language where the data retrieval process will make requests on available servers by using GraphQL queries to facilitate the process of retrieving data on the server more easy. This system has been tested using white-box testing on unit testing and integration and black-box testing in validation testing. In addition, usability testing is done by using the System Usability Scale method with the final score being 82,5 so that the system can be categorized as acceptable.

Abstract

In developing or changing a software, it is necessary to observe the maintainability so that the software does not have low maintainability. Low maintainability can make the software difficult to understand, expensive to repair and develop or change in the future. One of the causes of low maintainability is code smell. Not all developers have enough knowledge about code smell, even though they understand about it, it is uncertain if they can necessarily find a solution that must be taken to overcome the code smell or not. The long method smell detection system has a feature to help developers detect it, and effective methods and refactoring methods that can be done from java source code so that it can reduce the effort of developers to overcome code smell, especially long methods. This system developed based on Refactoring Filtering Metrics (RFM), which calculates switch, edge, node, def, c-use, p-use and complexity of condition values. The RFM value used as the basis for detecting the long method smell using Refactoring Filtering Condition. This system has been tested by the Whitebox method and validation testing using the Blackbox method. This system can operate detection in less than 10 seconds and has a detection accuracy of 100 percent.

Abstract

Farmers are the biggest economic contributors in Indonesia. However, the income from farming is still considered very low resulting in farmers becoming less prosperous. One of the ways to increase their income is to utilize new ways to generate income for farmers in the form of broadening their market. This research was done with the Langgeng Mandiri Farmer Group who were connected with household customers or restaurants in the Malang City region. Based on the business model done on the Langgeng Mandiri Farmer Group, resulted in a solution in the form of a mobile application that can bridge the farmer group with consumers in terms of sales of crops. The development of this application uses a prototyping method. Requirements of the users are formed into a mockup and evaluation is done using a query evaluation technique which will result in two iterations. Implementation of the application is built on an Android base and data communication with a database serves was done through the assistance of a web service. The operating of the application during the testing phase were done with expected results based on requirement scenario, the application was able to run on android version 5.0 (Lolipop) to android version 9.0 (Pie) and the application was well-received by the farmer group and the consumers.

Abstract

Assets are resources owned by a group as the effect of past events and the economic value of an asset is expected in the future. Economic value of an asset in the future is beneficial directly or indirectly to the interests of the group. Increase the number of assets requires asset management which has an effect on the use of assets, so that assets can be utilized optimally. The asset management cycle takes into account all risks from asset planning to asset elimination. Goal of asset management is to know the cheapest costs in a long period of time when determining the right policies in managing assets. To support good asset management, an asset management information system is needed. RSUD dr. Iskak is a B type hospital that located in Tulungagung. As a referral hospital, of course it has a lot of assets and have problems with asset management. The author took the initiative to develop an asset management information system to give solutions to the problems in RSUD dr. Iskak Tulungagung. A system developed based on a website with a prototype development model. Where in this study the final or final prototype was written. Post test is used to test the ease of operation of the system with the System Usability Scale approach with results of 71.5. These results represent systems that are developed into acceptable categories and in accordance with user expectations.

Abstract

There are 129 active volcanoes and 500 inactive volcanoes located in Indonesia. Residents who live around areas that are susceptible to volcanic eruptions are quite numerous, which is as much as 10% of Indonesia's population. From the number of volcanoes that are still active there are only 69 mountains monitored, so there are still many active volcanoes which are not well monitored, which is around 40%. So that information on the status of the volcano is needed as quickly and accurately as possible to reduce the impact caused by the volcanic eruption. In this research, volcanic status classification will be carried out using the Learning Vector Quantization method. this study uses data totaling 110 data. The data was obtained from the website of the Volcanology Center and Geological Disaster Mitigation (PVMBG). From the tests that have been done, the highest accuracy is 88% when using the learning rate 0.1, the learning rate deduction is 0.1 and the minimum learning rate is 0.01.

Abstract

Precision agriculture is predicted to become the future of the agricultural industry. The application of information technology to enhanced production automation or land security requires that agricultural areas be filled with sensing devices. In fact, many sensors that have been deployed on land cannot send data optimally. The battery lifetime of wireless sensing devices causes network connectivity to be less and affects the final results of land monitoring. Relay node placement in wireless sensor networks field presents a power-limiting solution by dividing the role of data actuators and as hops that forward data towards internet gateway. However, the application of two-tier communication architecture using relay requires a high cost, so that the relay placement needs to be optimized. The research was conducted aimed at optimizing the placement of relays on agricultural land, by proposing optimization strategies that are adapted to conditions in the field. PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm is used as a relay placement optimization heuristic method. The results of relay placement optimization show that a collection of relays that are optimized in number and position can produce maximum connectivity value compared to its placement deterministically. The complexity of the method will increase 19-35 percent as the number of relays is considered.

Abstract

The Sidoarjo Regency Government has implemented a website-based service for public complaint called Pusat Pelayanan Pengaduan Masyarakat (P3M). However, in the process of implementing there is a problem is the user requirements that are not right. So that the service is less attractive to the public as a user. In fact, people prefer to complain through the Sidoarjo Regency Government social media such as Facebook. Therefore, the evaluation was carried out using the Framework Object Control for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) 5. The process used is Manage Requirements Definition (BAI02) and Manage Solutions Identification and Build (BAI03). This process is chosen because both have activities that support requirements governance. Retrieval of data in this study was carried out by questionnaires, interviews and document study. Respondents were selected using the RACI Chart calculation for each process. On the questionnaire sheet contains questions related to governance requirements on P3M services. Then the interview aims to ask for targeted levels of P3M services. After data processing, capability level in the BAI02 and BAI03 processes at level 0 (incomplete process). Then the targeted level of the two processes at level 2 (managed process), therefore there is a gap of 2 (two). Then the researcher compiled a recommendation document that would complement each activity in the BAI02 and BAI03 processes. Each recommendation will be explained clearly in order to achieve capability level 2 (managed process).
