Abstract

Honey is a food substance that has sweet taste and thick structure produced by bees. Honey can be distinguished by observing the color and clarity of honey, but it is quite difficult due to lack of knowledge and each type of honey has almost the same color and level of clarity. Based on these problems, this study designed a system to classify the type and authenticity of honey. The sensors used are the TCS3200 sensor, the LDR sensor, and the pH sensor. The TCS3200 sensor and LDR sensor are placed on the back side and on the front side of the sample glass an LED light is added, while the pH sensor is at the top of the glass and the pH sensor eye is immersed in the solution in an upright position so that the sensor can optimally determine each characteristic of the honey sample. The backpropagation ANN algorithm in this study is processed using Arduino Nano with a network structure of 3 inputs, 1 hidden layer containing 24 perceptrons, and 1 output which is divided into 6 classes. The structure design process uses 900 datasets, the learning rate is 0.001, the epochs are 28.451 and the training process is 2 hours 23 minutes 14 seconds. From the testing process the backpropagation neural network algorithm is proven to be able to classify each honey class well and the NN algorithm accuracy reaches 94.45%, with an average computation time of 0.80076 seconds.

Abstract

USIP PAMMAS is a non-governmental financial institution in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, Bali Province, have task to managing the finances of their members within the scope of the local district community independently. Based on the results of an interview with Mr. Nyoman Piarsa as the chairman of the USIP institution, he said that there were difficulties in the implementation of the process of recording transaction activities within the organization. Currently, the process is still done manually and as the number of members increases, the tasks carried out by the staffs become increasingly difficult. Therefore, based on the problems described previously, the offered solution is to develop an information system for deposit and loan management to handle them. System development is done by using the Waterfall method and implemented with a web-based application, using the Laravel framework. The steps taken include requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. For system validation testing results based on functional requirements, from 8 test cases all get valid results. For the results of the compatibility test, the system runs with the same functionality on all tested browser using SortSite application. For the User Acceptance Testing result, the test is given to two actors, first one is admin actors represented by the USIP chairman (94% UAT percentage value) and secondly USIP management actors represented by USIP staff (95% UAT percentage value).

Abstract

Kupang is one of the cities experiencing the impact of water shortages in Indonesia. This problem has arisen for many years because water sources in the city are pretty limited. Therefore, many from the private sector are developing clean water service businesses by utilizing underground water (bore well water with a depth of > 80 m) distributed to households using water tankers. However, bore healthy water entrepreneurs have difficulty selling their water to water tank car owners. This is because most of the people of Kupang City do not know about the existence of a water tank car taken from several borehole waters in Kupang City. In addition, from a customer perspective, it is also challenging to get clean water. The application design for ordering water tanks in the city of Kupang is carried out using an approach, namely the Human-Centered Design method. This method is very appropriate in this study because it is directly centered on the user. The application is in the form of mobile using the operating system in the form of Android. At the testing stage, it was carried out using the usability testing method on ten respondents with a background of being tank water customers in Kupang City. Furthermore, the usability value in the effectiveness aspect is 90%, in the efficiency aspect, it is 0.076 goals/sec, and finally in the user satisfaction aspect it is 82 which is category A. Then, at the last stage, re-evaluation is carried out in order to get the maximum results that the user can accept.

Abstract

Neighborhood pillars are institutions formed by the community which are under the community pillars. One of the activities carried out is managing finances including payment of monthly fees, bookkeeping, and financial audits. In its management, the treasurer still uses the manual method. So that the treasurer needs more time in recording and making monthly reports. Residents also often forget to pay dues so that they have dues dependents. So this study aims to design a neighborhood financial management application that is expected to help residents, treasurers, and chairmen at the River Village Housing Block E2 Malang City in managing financial activities. Human-centered design is used as a method in designing this user experience which begins with an analysis of the context and user needs which is then implemented in the form of a solution design. Then, a design evaluation was carried out using usability testing and a user experience questionnaire to 5 respondents which resulted in an effectiveness value of 82.8%, an efficiency value of 0.072 goals/second, with 85th score, grade A, adjective excellent, acceptable, promoter, and UEQ aspects with attractiveness 2.77, perspicuity 2.35, efficiency 2.85, dependability 2.9, stimulation 2.85, and novelty 2.5. In addition, design improvements and additional features were made according to the respondents' suggestions which resulted in an effectiveness value of 96.7% with an efficiency value of 0.088 goals/second. Thus, this research produces a prototype for further development.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is the most difficult time faced by the community and health workers, prevention of the virus is also increasingly being done to reduce the rate of infection. It is very important to increase the body's resistance or immunity. Therefore, in this study, the problem to be solved is regarding the optimization of nutrition for foodstuffs and herbal packages of Indian wood for adolescents for the prevention of COVID-19 and its new variants in an effort to increase immunity and performance using genetic algorithms. Genetic algorithm is a heuristic search algorithm that uses the mechanism of biological evolution. Some resistance that can be traversed by genetic algorithms is that information will be combined randomly. The following will also be matched Back regarding individuals with previous iterations. Then it will produce a minimum and maximum function to determine the price and get the fitness value as a price reference. The most optimal parameter values are obtained in the generation of 800, using a crossover reproduction of two cut points of 0.5, scrambler mutation value of 0.9, and a population of 125 by obtaining optimal parameter values, then the patient can get the best food ingredients. From the parameter values that have been obtained, the food package is optimally tested with the average nutritional requirement for patient G of 3.53%, patient K of 1.43%, patient E of 3.85%, and patient N of 4.15%, with each price obtained is Rp. 67,945, Rp. 76,397, Rp. 58,853, Rp. 58,195, in the order according to the patient.

Abstract

The influence of technological developments in life can be felt in the education aspect. However, not many schools have implemented it because there are still many limitations. At SMK 2 Banjarbaru, the process of managing student value data in the process of inputting student grades and attendance is still not a system that helps. Obtained from these problems, the researcher made a design for a User Interface Information System for Student Value Data Management Mobile using the Human Centered Design, aiming to produce a design that is guided by the user, according to the needs of the context of use and specifications of user needs. In addition to focusing on display design, it also refers to usability. evaluation Usability method Heuristic Evaluation testing usability on the user interface SIAKSE (School Academic System) domain experts and usability experts found a total of 11 problems and 5 suggestions for improvement given by the evaluator.

Abstract

Cendol is a traditional West Javanese drink made from hunkwe flour or mung bean flour. Cendol that is often found is green cendol. However, there are also cendol sellers who use red cendol derived from food coloring or agar powder. However, there are still cendol sellers who add synthetic dyes containing Rhodamin B to cendol as a dye. Because the price is relatively cheap and makes the color more striking so that buyers become interested in buying the cendol. Rhodamine B is a synthetic dye in the form of a crystalline powder, green in color, odorless, and fluoresces in a bright red solution. Rhodamine B is very dangerous if consumed and inhaled which can cause liver function disorders, cancer, irritation of the respiratory tract, skin, and eyes. The misuse of these dyes occurs due to a lack of public knowledge about how to distinguish food coloring from Rhodamine B dye and the dangers of its use. Therefore, the researchers designed a system that can classify cendol containing Rhodamine B based on color. The system is built with a portable design for efficiency and portability. This system uses a power bank as a resource, then uses a TCS3200 sensor to determine the RGB value of the cendol color, a 16x2 LCD with I2C to display the output and classification results of the system, Arduino uno as a microcontroller to process data and calculate classifications, and an Artificial Neural Network (ANN). as a classification method. This system utilizes 50 sets of training data, 25 sets of test data for the ANN method, and 15 sets of test data for the whole system. Based on the results of the tests carried out, the accuracy of the Artificial Neural Network method was 96.08% with an average computation time of 58 ms and an overall system accuracy of 93.34%.

Abstract

Based on the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) in 2018, there were 30.38 million people with disabilities/14.2 percent of the total population in Indonesia. Persons with disabilities have difficulty operating electronic devices. On this basis, persons with disabilities need tools to operate these devices without physical contact. In addition, physical contact must also be minimized globally due to the COVID-19 pandemic which has spread throughout the world. The solution to this problem is to create a system that can operate electronic devices without making physical contact. This solution can be realized by using Facial Landmark-based head movements to select the display menu at the clinic with the application name "Smart Clinic". The clinic is the main focus because it is the most vulnerable place to the spread of COVID-19. This system works by classifying head movements to the right, left, up, and down. The output of this system is in the form of six menu options. The results obtained from the research accuracy of 90% for the distance of the user as far as 60 cm from the camera, 85% distance of the user as far as 75 cm and 82% distance of the user as far as 90 cm. The distance is selected based on the user's safe viewing distance with the monitor screen, which is in the range of 50-100 cm. This system also has a relatively fast computation time of 0.0034745 s.

Abstract

Sugarcane juice (sugar cane juice) is a product of the sugarcane plant (Saccharum officinarum) which can be used as a basic ingredient for making brown sugar, medicine, food, or alcohol. Good sugarcane juice has a pH of 7 to 5 and has a green, brown, yellow color. Sugarcane water have a decrease in quality due to contamination. Decreasing the quality has many impacts such as consumer impacts, benefits impacts, losses, and even be toxic. The parameters that are often used by farmers to determine the quality are color, scent, and taste which sometimes the point of view of a person will be different to determine a fixed standard that can be used. Therefore, the researcher wants to create a system that can fixed parameters, namely the sugarcane water quality classification system with 3 classes: best quality, quality suitable for consumption, and quality not suitable for consumption according to the parameters of sugarcane processing Wajak, Malang City. The system uses a 4502C pH sensor and a TCS3200 color sensor to detect the color and pH of sugarcane juice, then utilizes Arduino UNO as a microcontroller and utilizes PROGMEM syntax so that the memory capacity used can be lighter, the classification process uses the backpropagation artificial neural network method, then the results system is displayed via a 16x2 I2C LCD. Based on the test results, the PROGMEM syntax system was able to get 19% lighter results than without using it and testing 10 samples got 90% accuracy because 9/ 10 tests were successful.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has given birth to the trend of caring for plants. The demand for plant seeds for plant sellers increased. However, several obstacles arise such as low ability to bargain for products, lack of available market information, and lack of clarity on the product marketing network. This happens because of the limited reach of marketing and no place to wider their market. The design of the application user experience on the android system can be an answer to this problems by creating forum for product marketing from seed traders to buyers and by a forum for mutual questions and answer discussion. This research using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach. The results of usability testing evaluations by traders get 100% effectiveness, time base efficiency 0.10054 goals/sec, with the predicate SUS excellent and for attractiveness aspects 2.23, praise 2.15, efficiency 2.10, accuracy 2.10 , stimulation 2.20, novelty 1.90. testing on buyers, 100% effectiveness, 0.201 efficiency, system usability scale 8.3 with very good category, and user experience questionnaire on aspects of attractiveness 2.23, game 2.75, efficiency 2.20, accuracy 2.25, stimulation 2.30, and novelty 0.90. The Buyer User Experience Questionnaire was in the very good category except for novelty getting above average.
