Abstract

PT. Kencana Tiara Gemilang is a manufacturing company based on plastic sector and located in Singosari, Malang. PT. Kencana Tiara Gemilang products are geosynthetic, agricultural and innovation products. Problems that often occur in the production process are sales & marketing take a long time to receive some orders, PPIC makes the wrong calculations in determining raw materials, and the production process takes a long time because of Human Resources (HR). For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the production process. After conducting interviews and observations, it can be seen that the production process is divided into three business processes, such as the production planning process, the production process, and the product evaluation process. The three business processes will be modeled by using the Business Process Model and Nation (BPMN) with a bizagi modeler as a tool. Furthermore, evaluation and analysis were carried out using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to get the priority of the existing problems based on the RPN value. After that, the next step is to make recommendations for business process improvements using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method with streaming tools. Finally, compare the results of the current business process simulation (AS-IS) and recommendations (TO-BE). The simulation comparison results show that there is a savings in the production planning business process of 21.55 % for Max Time and 5.01 % for Average Time, the production business process is 18.36 % for Max Time and 16.38 % for Average Time, and The product evaluation business process is 32.06 for Max Time and 42.48 % for average time. Savings indicates that the duration of time has decreased from the current ongoing business process (AS-IS) into a business process recommendation (TO-BE).

Abstract

Kontan is an economic, business and investment news portal. Not only presenting news and information, cash also presents macroeconomic data, sectoral, to stock market and financial data accurately, completely, and continuously updated, from trusted sources. Apart from being on the website, Cash also has an application on cellular phones. But in fact this application still gets a low rating in the Playstore and there are also some unfavorable reviews from users. The review can be categorized into errors in the Usability aspect, namely Learnability, efficiency, errors, and also Satisfaction. Then an evaluation is carried out to find out what problems are obtained from testing and direct observation to users of the Cash application. There are 4 problems that are included in the usability aspect. Then recommendations for interface improvements are made in order to increase the value from the usability aspect. Then a second evaluation was carried out using the same method as in the first evaluation, in order to find out the comparison between the first test and the second test. There was an increase in the learnability aspect by 4%, in the efficiency aspect there was an increase of 0.948, in the errors aspect there was a decrease of 0.53%, and also in the satisfaction aspect there was an increase of 10,583.

Abstract

PT. Kencana Tiara Gemilang is a plastic sheet manufacturing company that was founded in early 2014. Managed by professionals who have decades of experience in the plastics field. The author finds that there are several processes that are not carried out properly so that business processes become hampered or less effective. These indications are found in the marketing business process, namely the existence of activities that are still manual so that improvements will be made and there are activities that are not needed. This study uses the Business Process Model Natation (BPMN) diagram. From here, business processes are analyzed using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method and to make business process improvements using Business Process Improvement (BPI). Then the results of the current business process and the results of the recommendation business process are found in the marketing business process the average difference between the current business process and the recommendation is 37.25%, 49.18% in the business strategy plan sub-process and 74.27% on the sub business process marketing plan.

Abstract

PT Telkom Indonesia TBK is one company that consistently serves the country and provide telecommunication to Indonesian spread throughout Indonesia. Entering the era, Telkom Indonesia continues to develop digital business, including Indihome, and Internet of Things. In development at PT Telkom to become digital communication company, there was a trial and error in the service to customers. As what happened at the PT Telkom Lembong - Bandung, there several problems that reduce the effectiveness of the work carried out by Boss, Maintenance Technician and Sales. There are 2 main problems that researcher could sum up from interview that researcher did with potential user. The first problem is the troubled from boss or atasan for monitoring or supervising technicians in their work, moreover, there is often miscommunication between technicians. The intention from miscommunication between technicians is technicians could go to the same user's place at the same time. The second problem is the sales put the data from new customers manually. In addition to the occurrence of data could be tucked away, customer data that has been obtained is not neatly arranged. With the problems that has described above, Telkom Lembong need an application system to help oversee the work of technicians and help the sales in data collection new customers. This application take a case study in Telkom Lembong, name the application is TEKSAS. In development the application TEKSAS using method SDLC Waterfall. In research and development, researchers conducted needs analysis, design, implementation and testing. At the analysis stage obtained 22 functional. At the implementation stage using the Java programming language using Android studio. At the testing stage, there are 3 test, namely unit testing, validation testing, and compatibility testing.

Abstract

Meeting management is a step to plan, organize, lead and control meetings that have been scheduled. Fakultas Ilmu Komputer (FILKOM) differentites the scope of the meeting into study program meetings, department meetings, faculty meetings and committee meetings. The stages of holding meetings in FILKOM are preparation, execution and accomplishment. The first stage in preparation is to determine the chairperson of the meeting. The meeting leader determines the topic, participants and schedule. Furthermore, the secretary helps determine the room for the meeting and contacts the participants. But there are obstacles because the meeting initiator has difficulty getting the schedule of participants and the secretary has difficulty choosing a meeting room because there is no meeting room schedule. The meeting management system at FILKOM was developed to address these problems. The system development uses the waterfall model with an object-oriented approach. Testing are carried out using unit testing, integration testing and validation testing. White-box testing is used in unit and integration tests. Blackbox testing is used in validation testing. The results of all tests are 100% valid.

Abstract

Mobile ad-hoc network (MANET) is a network that can function without a fixed infrastructure. In MANET, the communication process is managed using a mechanism called a routing protocol. In this case, a problem arises that generally can occur in MANET, namely network security problems. Wormhole itself is a network attack that cannot be carried out by one node, because basically a wormhole attack forms a tunnel that connects one wormhole node with other wormhole nodes. Therefore, this study evaluates the impact of wormhole attacks on the MANET network using the Location Aided Routing (LAR) routing protocol. From the results of the tests carried out, the effect of increasing the number of nodes in the network before the wormhole attack occurred to get the best value from the packet delivery ratio parameter of 97.13% for a variation of 40 nodes. For the average end to end delay parameter, the best value is obtained at a variation of 20 nodes with a value of 57.06ms. And the best value of the routine overhead parameter is obtained at a variation of 40 nodes with a value of 0.73. While in the scheme after the wormhole attack, the value of the packet delivery ratio parameter increased significantly, achieved at a variation of 30 nodes with a value of 99.92%. For the average end to end delay parameter, the best value is obtained at a variation of 30 nodes with a value of 41.62ms. And for the routine overhead parameter, the best value is obtained at a variation of 30 nodes with a value of 0.18..

Abstract

Each library has book data that is stored and then developed to make it easier to classify the data Borong State Elementary School. This library stores book data that is managed. Data mining is for method that can be used is Naive Bayes where this method will be used to develop library books. This research is focused on knowing the library information system and classified in the category of types of books. From this classification, the system will provide information to students who will borrow books the categories available in the library. The input of this system is data regarding information. Variable used is type book that is often borrowed. Data mining technique algorithm tableas basis for book classification process. The input data will be processed using the data mining technique of the Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) algorithm to form a probability tableas basis for the book classification process. In the form a library performance classification that predicts the of books and provides recommendations for the process of borrowing books in a timely manner. Factors classification library information are book publishers, book authors and year of publication. Library manager. Testing on library data 100% with a high level of accuracy category.

Abstract

2019 was the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan, China. The pandemic caused the government to implement PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions). One of the areas directly affected is the education sector. The PSBB has caused the teaching and learning process that should have taken place face-to-face now can only be done online. Students use technology to support their teaching and learning process. One of the technologies used by students is cloud computing. Cloud computing features help students work collaboratively on assignments online. In this study, qualitative research was conducted to determine student behavior and also the obstacles experienced by them. This research was conducted by means of semi-structured interviews. After the interviews were conducted, the researcher conducted a transcript. The results of the interview transcripts were then continued with the analysis process. In this study, the thematic analysis method was used. The results of the analysis then produce behavioral findings and also the obstacles experienced by students when using cloud computing for online collaborative group work. The results of this study are the findings of student behavior during online collaborative group work such as student behavior before cloud computing was widely used, student behavior when choosing their own group, student behavior when selected by a group by lecturers, supportive group mates behavior, inhibiting groupmate behavior, student behavior when discussing online, student behavior when discussing offline, behavior towards friends is less cooperative. And also found obstacles experienced by students such as obstacles to the use of cloud computing, group work constraints, lack of Google applications, security issues.

Abstract

Cancer is a disease caused by the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells in the human body. Melanoma cancer or also known as mole cancer which is included in skin cancer is one of the rare cancers and is one of the most virulent cancers because it can easily spread to organs. Of course the ideal thing that is expected is not to fall sick, but it is better if we have knowledge about melanoma cancer in order to avoid melanoma cancer. The author sees an opportunity to make an application about melanoma cancer based on Android that can introduce and provide general knowledge in a general form so that it encourages users to come to the doctor for a checkup when their mole is not properly shaped. The author will build an application that has features that will be adapted to the needs and will be implemented using the Java programming language. Tests on the application are carried out using functional testing, detection testing, and usability testing methods. In functional testing using blackbox and getting 100% valid results because it has fulfilled all the needs. The accuracy test got 56% accuracy and usability test using SUS (System Usability Scale) got a SUS score of 78 with good information..

Abstract

E-Commerce is the process of buying and selling goods to consumers that can be done more quickly and efficiently, and is not limited by space and time. Supported by the covid-19 pandemic, online transactions or e-commerce increased rapidly compared to the previous year, which had an impact on PT. Java Indo Arjuna, a company engaged in plant cultivation, conducts sales manually, from product management to transactions, so a platform is needed that can handle these management problems. This is the background for the development of an e-commerce admin monitoring and management system called isitaman with the agile scrum model method because the system requirements are not known for sure. From the Agile Scrum method, 13 use cases are generated as basic needs, 8 main features, 4 main admin features, 17 product backlogs, and 20 sprint backlogs. From the 20 sprint backlogs, 4 sprint iterations were produced that implemented sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, user interfaces, APIs, source code, black box testing and sprint reviews as well as retrospectives. From blackbox testing, the results are 100% valid.
