Abstract

Lumajang Bersahabat is the official e-Government application for the Lumajang Regency Government based on a mobile application that can be widely used by the public to obtain information about Lumajang. The usability evaluation of the application that has been carried out so far is limited to involving the internal organization of the organization with a conventional approach. The developer requires usability evaluation from external parties, namely the community as users to get input and materials for developing the Lumajang Lumajang application in the future. This study aims to testing Lumajang Bersahabat that involves users with usability testing methods and the Human Centered Design (HCD) approach which produces recommendations for user interface improvements. Usability testing produces values from aspects of effectiveness, efficiency, and user Satisfaction and Human Centered Design (HCD) as an approach to product design that focuses on user testing. In the usability evaluation phase I resulted in an Effectiveness value is 71.2%, an efficiency value is 65.5%, and user Satisfaction with an SUS score 46.25. The Human Centered Design process produces an interface improvement design in the form of a prototype to solve 9 usability problems and add 7 new features according to user needs. Phase II usability testing on the interface improvement prototype resulted in an increase in the Effectiveness value to 98.4%, the efficiency value to 97.5%, and user Satisfaction with an SUS score of 84.58.

Abstract

Educational Timetable are the main administrative activity for various institutions. In this study, the researcher will concentrate on the problem of school timetabling. School timetabling at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Denpasar is made every new school academic year. In this study, a system was created that can perform school scheduling using the hybrid cat swarm optimization method in optimizing school timetable. The performance of the hybrid cat swarm optimization algorithm, it shows that the average fitness value shows the best results on the number of cats of 10, CSO iterations of 750, and LSRP iterations of 500 with a fitness value of 104,243. Timetabling using system is able to obtain school timetable without any teacher clashes.

Abstract

Tutoring is a form of mentoring students outside of school by a tutor. The purpose of tutoring is to improve the quality of learning. The educational background and busyness of parents are usually the reason parents need tutors for their children to study outside of school. The limitations of tutors in disseminating information about their services are the cause of the difficulty of parents getting tutors for their children so that students take a long time to overcome their difficulties in learning. Tutoring information is usually given by word of mouth. Information given by word of mouth is not effective because sometimes the information conveyed is inaccurate. From these problems, a solution is needed to help connect between parents and tutors. The research conducted aims to design an application for tutoring tutoring services to connect parents and tutors.design User experience is needed in this study so that the application is made according to user needs. The research was conducted using the Human-Centered Design method. The evaluation is carried out using Usability Testing and System Usability Scale (SUS) as a user satisfaction test tool.evaluation usability testing get a success rate of 100% and an error rate 0% and get an efficiency 0.145 goals/sec and 0.091 goals/sec. evaluation using SUS got a score of 78, which means it is included in grade B+.

Abstract

The Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) has a work unit that is responsible for managing and maintaining infrastructure, namely the general and equipment work units. There are several problems that exist in this work unit. The first problem is that the process of reporting complaints from the academic community is still verbal so that it takes time to coordinate from the reporter to the staff of the infrastructure section until the improvement of infrastructure is carried out. The second problem is that the process of making daily activity reports made in the form of physical documents results in wasteful use of paper and file stacking. The third problem is in routine maintenance activities, making maintenance reports from activities already use google forms but there is a buildup of data on the limited capacity of the google drive. From the use of this google form, there are also problems in the form of incomplete maintenance data and mismatch of data from each infrastructure. This research seeks to develop a mobile-based asset management information system. This research adopts the waterfall method in system development. The stages of the waterfall method are requirements, design, implementation and testing. The requirements stage produced four actors, 28 functional needs, one functional need, and requirements modeling using use case diagrams and use case scenarios. Design stage results in modeling sequence diagrams, diagram classes, algorithm design, database design and interface design. The implementation stage is carried out by realizing the actual system of the results of the design that has been carried out. All functional requirements tests which are unit testing, integration testing, and validation testing result in valid status in all test cases. In the usability test, an average score of 87,5 was obtained, which means that the system is acceptable to users.

Abstract

Blitz Energi Internusa Inc is a company engaged in construction work, which has a vision to become a leading company and partner of choice for comprehensive construction solutions at a global level. To achieve this vision, good implementation is needed in monitoring the progress of a project. However, in its implementation there are several problems such as frequent errors in determining project progress data, as well as incomplete photo documentation and descriptions of project work activities. Based on this, an information system is needed that can help make it easier to supervise projects. Therefore, in working on this thesis, a project supervision information system was developed which is expected to be utilized by the project manager and superintendent as a means to implement better project supervision. This system is web-based and made with a waterfall approach, and utilizes the CodeIgniter framework based on the PHP programming language to facilitate access and further development of information systems at Blitz Energi Internusa Inc. The results of the validation testing show that from 11 test cases, all functions can run well and are declared valid. The results of the compatibility testing show that there are several problems for the Internet Explorer browser including not supporting some features in CSS. And the results of user acceptance testing obtained an acceptance percentage of 84% for superintendent actors, 88% for project manager actors and 80% for admin actors.

Abstract

Pet Runner is a startup founded by several students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Brawijaya University. Pet Runner provides grooming services, health consulting and veterinary goods. In practice, Pet Runner uses the WhatsApp application to communicate with customers in determining schedules for grooming and ordering pet needs. As time goes by, the Pet Runner startup business experienced several problems, namely the limited number of WhatsApp accounts used so that the acceptance of customer requests became slower and the calculation of transactions and recording of customer data took longer due to the increase in the number of transactions. Firebase-based android mobile application development is the right solution because the majority of customers are android users and firebase can solve data processing problems with data integration. Application development is carried out using the waterfall software process model. The testing techniques used are scenario-based testing for functional testing and system usability scale (SUS) for non-functional testing. The results of scenario-based testing show a success rate of 100% with all test results valid. The score interpretation from SUS stated that the application is in Good application category for Adjective Ratings, obtained Grade C Scale and in Acceptable category in the Acceptability Ranges.

Abstract

Correspondence service is one of the important activities in every village. One of the administrative services that are routinely directly related to the community is village population administration services such as making domicile letters, moving certificates, death certificates, application letters for making identity cards and other population service letters. correspondence service at the Wonodadi village office, Wonodadi sub-district, Blitar district. In its implementation it is only handled by an administrative apparatus, so it is not uncommon for the process of making letters to be quite time consuming. Registered letters are only manually archived using a notebook, often having an impact on the process of making routine administrative reports which are sometimes inappropriate due to recording errors such as forgetting to record or being recorded more than once. Therefore, in this study the authors built an application for village population administration services. The platform used to develop this application is responsive web-based, because the majority of Wonodadi villagers have smartphones to access the internet. The development method used to create applications is the prototyping method. This method supports fast and flexible development by utilizing the evaluation process to determine factors that can affect the development process. Based on the results of the analysis there are 12 functional requirements and 2 non-functional requirements. In testing the functional requirements using the blackbox testing method, the results are 100% valid. The compatibility test uses a scenario by running the application on several smartphone and desktop mobile devices using a browser that produces a compatibility value of 100% that can be run. Meanwhile, the usability test was tested using the usability scale method with an average result of 81 points for the villagers and 82 points for the village government.

Abstract

Catfish is one type of fish that is often consumed by the community, catfish is also one of the fish with high economic value. In addition to high economic value, catfish is also a fish that has a fairly fast growth. Usually catfish with the age of 3.5 - 4 months are ready to be harvested, but even though the age of catfish has entered the harvest period, not all catfish have the same size as one another. That's all caused by the greedy nature of catfish and the imbalance in the number of catfish with the size of the pond. So farmers prefer to do manual sorting to determine which catfish are ready to harvest based on weight and length. Therefore, this study aims to assist catfish farmers in sorting catfish that are ready to harvest with the help of a load cell sensor to measure weight and an ultrasonik sensor to measure length. Then the two values will be classified using the K-Nearest Neighbors method with the help of Arduino as the main system for classifying and also servo as the output of this system. This study tested the load cell and ultrasonik sensors as input for the length and weight while the classification using the K-Nearest Neighbors method got an accuracy value of 81,25% with computing time 33 ms.

Abstract

Use case diagrams are a fundamental thing in software modeling. This is because of its function states the interaction that occurs between user and system visually and presents all functions that will be carried out by the system briefly, concisely and clearly. However, to get a good use case diagram, good results of writing requirements and qualified elicitation analysis are needed so that it takes up too much time. One way to facilitate this is by automating the creation of use case diagrams. The system automation in this study is a modeling recommendation. Use case diagrams can be generated with system scenarios as input because they represent existing elements. Then to translate the scenario into use case diagrams are using natural language processing stanfordNLP and the plantUML library for making automation diagrams. The research was conducted by analyzing requirements and obtaining 7 functional requirements. The system development model that will be developed uses the waterfall with Java as its programming language because it could be integrated with the stanfordNLP and plantUML libraries. The system will be developed on a desktop and can be run on a platform that supports JRE (Java Runtime Environment). The next stage is unit, integration and validation and accuracy testing, with the results of the unit test procedure being 100% valid from 3 samples, validation testing 100% valid from all test cases and results of accuracy testing on usage scenarios between 47% to 64%.

Abstract

Decision making in the supply chain process must be appropriate so that the production flow process that is run can run well. One form of decision making from a company is through a Decision Support System (DSS). The implementation of SPK on Burger Moe's supply chain process aims to help companies determine decisions on selecting raw materials for production more quickly according to existing needs and conditions in order to help the company run well. In determining the production of raw materials, the company determines several criteria as a reference, including purchase price, purchase distance, number of uses (weekly period), and durability. These criteria become the main guidelines in the DSS using the WP (Weighted Product) method. The WP method is used to rank the best raw materials from all available alternatives. To see the suitability between the DSS and the decision recommendations made manually by the user, this study used the Spearman correlation test which resulted in a value of 0.586. This value indicates that the decision support system and user decisions have a moderate relationship strength.
