Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan morfologi sel A. hydrophilamenggunakan scanning electron microscopydan mengetahui senyawa antibakteri dari R. mucronata. Prosedur penelitian meliputi ekstraksi, uji aktivitas antibakteri, uji total fenol, SEM dan LC-MS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan aktivitas antibakteri pada ekstrak daun R.mucronatayang telah dimurnikan. Uji total fenol menunjukkan peningkatan total fenol dari ekstrak kasar sebesar 7,13 ± 0,04% menjadi 8,55 ± 0,03% dalam ekstrak fraksi metanol. Kerusakan sel A. hydrophilaakibat paparan ekstrak daun R. mucrontadiamati dengan uji SEM. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa ada kerusakan sel yang disebabkan oleh paparan ekstrak (pemanjangan ukuran sel, pembengkakan atau pengembungansel, dan pembentukan lubang pada permukaan dinding sel). Uji LC-MS mendeteksi chlorogenic acidterkandung dalam ekstrak R.mucronata, yang diketahui bersifat antibakteri.

Abstract

Induction of laser puncture in the male catfish broodstock has a positive influence by increasing reproductive activity which is very helpful for the process of gonadal maturation. The contribution of laser puncture induction in accelerating gonadal maturation can be seen with an increasing in the value of Gonado Somatic Index (GSI) and Hepato Somatic Idex (HIS) indicators. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of laser puncture induction on increasing the value of GSI and HIS male catfish broodstock. This experimental study used 48 broodstocks of one year old male catfish with a body weight of 1000-1200 g maintained in a concrete pond. The treatment consisted of 2 groups i.e. without induction and induction of laser puncture, each treatment was repeated 4 times. Laser puncture induction was performed every 15 days at the point of reproduction for 15 seconds until the 75th day. The parameters observed were GSI and HIS. The results showed that there was a highly significant increase (P <0.002) in the value of GSI and HSI in male male catfish broodtock after induced by laser puncture. Conclusion for this research was laser punctur induction at the point of reproduction in male catfish can accelerate gonadal maturation with indicators of increasing GSI and HIS values.

Abstract

Teh hijau telah lama memiliki kandungan antioksidan alami yang tinggi. Penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan cara penyeduhan yang tepat dan mengumpulkan senyawa bioaktif sebagai antioksidan dalam teh hijau Daun Sonneratia alba . Percobaan dirancang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan faktor suhu dan lama penyeduhan. Penyeduhan terbaik menggunakan suhu 100 o C selama 10 menit yang menghasilkan total tanin tertinggi sebesar 3,18% dan nilai IC 50 terhadap DPPH sebesar 96,5 ppm. Aktivitas antioksidan (FRAP) sebesar 105 ppm, kadar katekin 0,46% dan total fenol 84,94 mgGAE / g. Teh hijau daun Sonneratia albapositif terhadap alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin, tanin. Senyawa bioaktif yang mengandung antioksidan terbesar dari famili fenolik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan selama enam bulan dari bulan Juni sampai November 2018 pada perairan Kepulauan Tanakeke Kabupaten Takalar. Jumlah tangkur buaya yang diperoleh pada lokasi pengambilan sampel Labbotallua sebanyak 88 ekor jantan dan 67 ekor betina pada lokasi pengambilan sampel Labbokatoang sebanyak 68 ekor jantan dan 52 ekor betina. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Nisbah kelamin Syngnathoides biaculeatus (Bloch, 1785)  pada lokasi labbotallua dan labbokatoang di Pulau Tanakeke Sulawesi Selatan yaitu 1.31:1 dapat dikatakan seimbang. Hasil analisis terhadap ukuran pertama kali matang gonad tangkur buaya pada kedua lokasi pengambilan sampel pada individu jantan mengalami kematangan gonad pertama kali yang lebih cepat pada ukuran 19.3038 mm dan 20.8287 mm sedangkan tangkur buaya betina pada ukuran 21.3192 mm dan 21.2339 mm.

Abstract

Efektifitas penggunaan kincir air selama masa periode blind feeding budidaya intensif udang vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei) merupakan salah satu kegiatan penting yang harus diperhatikan demi kelangsungan siklus budidaya yang stabil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat transfer oksigen oleh kincir air serta hubunganya terhadap parameter harian kualitas air tambak. Peneltian ini dilakukan dengan konsep desain kausal ex-post facto selama 30 hari awal masa budidaya intensif udang vannamei (Litopenaeus vannamei) atau selama periode blind feeding budidaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai parameter kualitas air di lokasi tambak masih sesuai ambang batas. Sedangkan tingkat transfer oksigen oleh kincir air bersifat fluktuatif selama 30 hari masa pengamatan. Sementara dari hasil uji korelasi menunjukan bahwa hanya variabel suhu dan salinitas air memiliki keeratan hubungan yang kuat terhadap proses transfer oksigen oleh kincir. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa fluktuasi tingkat transfer oksigen oleh kincir air akan berpengaruh ataupun dipengaruhi oleh kondisi suhu dan salinitas air tambak.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kontribusi dan daya saing sektor perikanan Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah library research dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi. Analisis data kuantitatif yang digunakan adalah kontribusi dan daya saing (RCA). Perikanan darat memberikan kontribusi 53,7% terhadap sektor perikanan lebih tinggi daripada perikanan laut sebesar 46,3%. Kontribusi nilai ekspor sektor perikanan terhadap nilai ekspor provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat masih rendah sebesar 0,26%. Nilai daya saing ekspor perikanan provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat terhadap provinsi lain sebesar 0,09 atau lebih kecil dari 1 sehingga kemampuan daya saing lemah. Pemerintah NTB bersama masyarakat perikanan memanfaatkan potensi perikanan darat untuk meningkatkan kontribusi dan daya saing.

Abstract

Aonori, yaitu produk khas Jepang berupa serbuk kasar berukuran 2 – 3 mm dari alga hijau jenis Monostroma dan Enteromorpha yang ditaburkan di atas Okonomiyaki, Takoyaki, Yakisoba, Tororo (sayuran Jepang parut), Natto (kacang kedelai fermentasi), dan bola nasi. Untuk  mengurangi impor dilakukan rekayasa bahan baku, E. spinosum adalah alga merah yang dapat diolah menjadi aonori tetapi harus di kombinasikan dengan rumput laut yang lain agar mempunyai karakteristik fisik dan organoleptik yang mirip dengan nori aslinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh proporsi E. spinosum dan S. crassifolium  serta S. platensis yang berbeda yang menghasilkan aonori terbaik. Aonori terbaik dihasilkan  dengan proporsi 40% E. spinosum dan 60% S. crassifolium serta 22,5% S. platensis, yang memiliki sifat fisik ketebalan, kuat tarik dan daya serap air berturut-turut: 0,469 mm; 214,7 kgf/cm2 dan 178,01%. Dan kadar air, lemak, abu, protein serta dietary fiber sebesar 16,90%, 4,46%,  6,55%, 4,84%, 25,60%.  Dengan rasa, aroma, tekstur dan warna berturut-turut sebesar  4,90, 4,45, 4,37 dan 5,43 yang menunjukkan agak lebih baik daripada kontrol, serta rendemen sebesar 4,43% .

Abstract

Mangrove Ecosystem in the Banyuurip Village Ujung Pangkah District Gresik Regency is a coastal area that has a fairly extensive mangrove forest and human activities are also increasing, it will directly affect the existence of biota in the mangrove ecosystem, one of the affected biota are macrobentos. The purpose of this study is to determine the community structure (species composition, average abundance, and relative abundance) and Ecological Index (Diversity Index and Dominance Index) macrobenthos. Determination of the station based on the condition of mangrove forests, substrate and surrounding activities, consisting of 3 stations namely station 1 in residential areas, station 2 at the residents' water gate, station 3 at the river mouth near the ocean. The results obtained were 15 species of macrobenthos diversity, divided into 10 types of Gastropoda class, 4 types of Malacostraca class and 1 type of Polychaeta class. Makrobentos abundance between 114 ind / m2 to 159 ind / m2. Diversity Index between 1.6605 and 2.5737. Dominance Index between 0.0803 to 0.2669. The structure of the macrobenthos community is stable with a diversity of species and the distribution of the number of individuals of each species is evenly distributed, the community is uniform and there are no species that dominate so that the environmental conditions in the Mangrove Ecosystem in Banyuurip Village District Ujung Pangkah Gresik Regency is said to be still good.

Abstract

Reproduction aspects of banana prawn were important in determining of the fisheries management. These results can indicate the condition of fisheries that are or will be managed. Banana prawn was one of the main commodities in South Sorong fisheries. This study aims to estimate some of the reproductive aspects of Fenneropenaeus merguiensis as part of a management measure to determining the zone to be a no-take zone area in the prospective area of South Sorong MPAs. The data analyzed were from data collecting from January to December 2018 in three sampling sites in South Sorong, among others Inanwatan, Bakoi, and Konda with the results of 5,009 carapace length samples, 4,589 including sex observation and 3,621 including banana prawn GMS observations. Data analysis performed by analyzing the distribution of carapace length frequency, sex ratio, length-weight relationship, length at first maturity (Lm50), and length at first captured (Lc50). The results of this analysis showed that the ratio between male and female gender was not balanced, with male gender to be less with a ratio of 0.4: 1.4 overall in NTZ 2 and 3. Comparison of Lc and Lm in NTZ 2 and NTZ 3 were respectively Lc < Lm and Lc > Lm. More fishing pressure will have implications to reduce the average size of banana prawn caught. Overall, NTZ 3 had relatively more stable conditions compared to NTZ 2.

Abstract

Information abundance and distribution of fish larvae in coastal waters of East Lampung currently very limited. The research aimed to improve the knowledge of the early life of organisms, in order to manag biodiversity and biological resources in the waters. Research station representing the several water sectors: in-shore, near-shore, and off-shore. The research was a representation of eastern monsoon (June) and transition monsoon (September) in 2017. Fish larvae was harvested using bonggo-net tool while its identification to family level using portable Dino-lite. Based on the result the Abundance of fish larvae in eastern monsoon was higher than transition monsoon. This research found 81 families of fish larvae. There were 10 dominant families, that are Gobiidae, Pegasidae, Mullidae, Pomacentridae, Sillaginiidae, Bleniidae, Bythitidae, Carangidae, Pseudochromidae and Bothidae. The distribution of fish larvae in the lower in-shore was higher than near-shore and off-shore, while east and transitional seasons have not much different larval catches.  Temperature, salinity and pH parameters indicated optimal range state for survival and growth of fish larvae, brightness and turbidity in accordance with water quality standards, currents velocity on eastern monsoon is very fast while transition monsoon is fast to very fast. Phytoplankton and zooplankton showed sufficient natural food availability for the life of fish larvae. Result Canonnical Corespondence Analysis (CCA) analysis to connectivity of abundance and larvae distribution showed that the brightness parameter forming a point projection while other water environment condition parameters form a vector projection in both period of monsoon. The abundance and fish larvae distribution in coastal waters of East Lampung in all three sectors of the waters had proportionality to the parameters of environmental conditions, especially the current parameters and the difference of the monsoon period.
