Abstract

Nurses’ job satisfaction is still becoming an important issue because it is not only closely related to high turnover rates, work stress and burnout, but also closely related to service and patient satisfaction in the hospital. This study aimed to analyze nurses’ job satisfaction factors and dominant factors influencing it among nurses in private hospitals in Padang Indonesia. A cross sectional, correlational design was used. Data were collected by questionnaire and proportional random sampling of 189 nurses in three hospitals was conducted. Data collected used questionnaire consisting of sociodemographic and the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS). Descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple linear regression analyses were used to examine the data. The average of job satisfaction was found at 73.5% of nurses satisfied with their job. Nature of work, co-worker, pay, and fringe benefits were the most significant factors influence toward nurses’ job satisfaction. The results can be used as a basis for evaluation, early detection, and future planning for nursing managers and management. Results also highlight the need to emphasize positive factors to upgrade nature of work, positive co-worker relationships, pay, and fringe benefits to achieve an excellent service quality by nurses.

Abstract

POGI noted that were 536 pregnant women who were confirmed positive COVID-19 in the past year and 3% of them died. COVID-19 infection in affected pregnant women can affect the mother's conception results. This study aims to describe the results of conception in pregnant women who are confirmed positive for COVID-19. This research is a descriptive observational study with a retrospective approach. The research subjects involved in this study were 31 pregnant women who were positive for COVID-19 and gave birth at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya during January - December 2021. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Patient data was taken from medical record data. 19 people (61%) tested positive for COVID-19 without symptoms and 12 people with symptoms (39%). 18 people (58%) gave birth by vaginal delivery, 12 people (39%) SC, and 1 people (3%) forceps extraction. There are 3 (10%) mothers who died. Conception results of normal healthy babies were 22 babies (71%), low birth weight 6 babies (4%), IUGR 2 babies (7%), IUFD 1 baby (4%), premature birth 11 people (35%), infant death 2 people (6%), and one baby (3%) who tested positive for COVID-19.  Most of the results of the conception of pregnant women with confirmed COVID-19 are normal healthy babies.

Abstract

Innovations in the economic sector gave rise to online loans such as Shopeepay later which were easily accessible by several students which sparked the desire of students to always shop on the Shopee application because of the many demands on lifestyles from the environment, trends from social media such as Tiktok, to the basic needs they use . The large number of products sold at Shopee, ranging from relatively low prices to those that seem expensive, has created a desire to use Shopeepay later to make it easier for them to make transactions because of easy access and registration which is quite easy for students to do. The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence there is between variables, namely the influence partially by lifestyle variables, TikTok social media, and the need for using Shopeepay Later, and the simultaneous influence of these 3 variables affecting the use of Shopeepay Later on Bojonegoro University students, as well as variables the most dominant of the three variables in the use of Shopeepay Later. The type of research used is quantitative by using the questionnaire method with a sample of 100 respondents from the entire population of Bojonegoro University students. Using quantitative methods to easily test hypotheses, the sampling technique itself uses random sampling where the researcher distributed questionnaires via a google form. it is concluded that the research obtains results if Life Style (XI), Social Media (X2), and Needs (X3), have a partial effect on the Use of (Y) Shopeepay Later, then Life Style (XI). Social Media (X2), and Needs (X3) simultaneously influence the use of (Y) Shopeepay Later, and it can be seen that the most dominant result that influences the use of (Y) Shopeepay Later is Needs (X3).

Abstract

Hypertension is also called the “silent killer” because people with hypertension often have no symptoms.  The National Institute of Heart, Lung and Blood in Indonesia estimates that half of people who suffer from hypertension are not aware of their condition.  The purpose of this study was to identify the factors associated with the onset of hypertension in the Belawan 1 Village area. This study used an analytical study with a case control approach.  The sample of this study was 236 respondents divided by a ratio of 1:1, namely 118 people in the control group and 118 people in the case group. The results of factor analysis of excessive salt consumption, lack of physical activity, family history of disease, consumption of excess fat, lack of fruits and vegetables, and excessive sugar consumption obtained pValue = 0.000, 0.016, 0.020, 0.040 0.042, 0.049 which means there is a relationship between physical activity factors, smoking habits, obesity and stress with the onset of hypertension.  Then the results of the risk factor analysis were retested using logistic regression to see which factors were the most influential among the independent variables with the incidence of hypertension, and the results obtained were excessive salt consumption, lack of physical activity, family history of disease, and lack of fruits and vegetables with AOR.  = 0.216, 0.389, 0.339, 0.459.  For this reason, it is recommended for health workers to provide counseling about hypertension, the causative factors and how to live a healthy and regular lifestyle so as to avoid hypertension.

Abstract

The Indonesian Health Demographic Survey (SDKI 2017) stated that 80% of women and 84% of men claimed to have dated. Among women and men who had had premarital sexual intercourse 59% of women and 74% of men reported starting sexual intercourse for the first time at the age of 15-19 years. The highest percentage occurred at the age of 17 years as much as 19%. Among adolescents who have had sexual intercourse, 12% of women have experienced an unwanted pregnancy. Adolescence is a stage between childhood and adulthood. Premarital sex behavior in adolescents is any desire-driven adolescent behavior with both the opposite sex and the same sex that was carried out before the existence of an official relationship as a husband and wife. Some of the factors that influence sexual behavior in adolescents include developmental factors, external factors, societal factors and behavioral factors of adolescents themselves. This study uses an analytical descriptive research design with a cross section method. The sample in this study was 76 people taken with the total sampling technique. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Bustanul Ulum Tanjung Jabung Timur. The data will be analyzed univariately and bivariately using chi square statistical tests. The results of this study showed that most respondents had good knowledge, had a positive attitude, had a moderate parental role, had moderate peers and had non-risky premarital sexual behavior as many as 45 respondents (59.2%). There is no knowledge relationship with premarital sexual behavior with a value of p=0.799. There is an attitudinal relationship (p=0.046), parental role (p=0.002) and peers (p=0.000) with premarital sexual behavior. The results of this study show that the factors that influence adolescent premarital sexual behavior include attitudes, the role of parents and peers. While the factor that does not affect is knowledge.

Abstract

This study is aimed to understand if there is a connection between leadership style, compensation and organizational culture towards the loyalty of private junior high school teachers in Batam Island. The research is a quantitative research in which author gathers information by spreading questionnaires to the private high school teachers in Batu Aji, Batam Island. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. Through the research and the analysis, we can finally conclude that it is indeed true that there is a connection in leadership style and teacher’s loyalty. Aside from that, there are also a connections between compensation and teacher’s loyalty, organizational culture to teacher’s loyalty and a connection in the three variables to the teacher’s loyalty. The highest impact in ascending order is received from leadership style, organizational culture and at the least the compensation in where the teacher is working.

Abstract

This study entitled the effect of financial literacy and sociodemography on individual investment decisions with behavioral bias as an intervening variable. The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct and indirect effects of financial literacy and sociodemography on investment decisions through behavioral bias. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive analysis method with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) model using SmartPLS. Based on the results of the study, it shows that financial literacy has no significant effect on the individual investment decisions of Jambi High Court employees. Sociodemography has a significant effect on the individual investment decisions of Jambi High Court employees. Financial literacy has no significant effect on individual behavioral biases of Jambi High Court employees. Sociodemography has no significant effect on individual behavioral biases at the Jambi High Court. Behavioral bias has a significant effect on the individual investment decisions of Jambi High Court employees. Financial literacy does not have a significant effect on investment decisions through behavioral bias. Sociodemographics have a significant influence on investment decisions through behavioral biases.

Abstract

This study compares the financial ratios between PT Gudang Garam Tbk and PT HM Sampoena in 2021 which aims to see the capabilities of the two companies in each of their financial ratios. The results of this study indicate that the ability of the two companies, namely PT Gudang Garam Tbk and PT HM Sampoerna Tbk, in financial performance with four ratios, namely: the liquidity ratio with the proxy current ratio that PT Gudang Garam Tbk is in better condition than PT HM Sampoerna Tbk and the quick ratio of the two companies is not in good condition, the cash ratio of PT HM Sampoerna Tbk is in good condition than PT Gudang Garam Tbk. The leverage ratio proxied by the debt to asset ratio and the debt to equity ratio of the two companies shows a healthy condition. Meanwhile, the activity ratio, including fixed asset turnover, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk generates more income, as well as its total asset turnover is more than that of PT Gudang Garam Tbk. The profitability ratio proxied by net profit margin (NPM), return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE) at PT HM Sampoerna Tbk is higher in value than PT Gudang Garam Tbk.

Abstract

Post-partum by WHO as a state of blood loss > 500 ml in 24 hours after delivery. Age is a factor in the occurrence of postpartum hemorrhage. Women who give birth to children at the age of more than 35 years is a predisposing factor for postpartum hemorrhage which can lead to maternal death. This study aims to determine the relationship between age, parity and anemia with the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang. This study used an analytical survey with a Cross Sectional design. as many as 73 (100%) samples obtained there are 4 patients who have an age with a risk of 5% while patients whose age is not dangerous are 69 patients or 95%. from a total of 73 (100%) samples. There were more patients with high parity than those with low parity. There were 42 patients or 58% who had high parity while there were 31 patients who had low parity, namely 42%. From the total sample of 73 patients, there were 15% or 11 who suffered from anemia while those who did not suffer from anemia were 62 patients with a percentage of 85%. There was a significant relationship between age and the incidence of bleeding at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang in 2021. From the results of statistical tests with a p value = 0.003 or p < 0.05. There is no significant relationship between parity and the incidence of bleeding at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang in 2021. This is based on the results of statistical tests with p value = 0.716 or p> 0.05. There is a significant relationship between anemia with bleeding events at Bhayangkara Hospital. This is based on the results of statistical tests with p value = 0.000 or p < 0.05.

Abstract

Companies in the future expect that the businesses they create will have high profits. In addition, the company also expects above average work performance from its employees in the work area. To achieve a rapidly growing company and excellent work performance, the existence of a company really needs a part of human resources. At the Tirta Projotamansari Regional Drinking Water Company in the Bantul Regency, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work experience on employee performance, compensation on employee performance, and satisfaction on employee performance, as well as the combined effect of work experience, compensation, and satisfaction on employee performance. The population and samples used in this study were all employees, totaling 60 employees. Because the total number of employees at the Tirta Projotamansari Regional Water Supply Company, Bantul Regency, totaled 60 employees, all employees were taken as a sample, using a saturated sampling technique. using questionnaires as a method of data collection. While multiple linear regression analysis is used for data analysis, and it is supported by the T and F tests. The multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and normality test make up the traditional assumption test. The research test's findings indicate that job satisfaction and job experience both have positive and significant effects on employee performance. Work compensation also has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. This demonstrates that the variables of work experience, compensation, and employee job satisfaction all influence employee performance in a positive way at the same time.
