JURNAL AT-TIBYAN adalah Jurnal Ilmu Alquran dan Tafsir yang diterbitkan oleh Jur/Prodi Ilmu Alquran dan Tafsir Fakultas Ushuluddin, Adab, dan Dakwah IAIN Langsa. Jurnal ini diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan Juli dan Desember. Jurnal ini memiliki spesifikasi keilmiahan dan publikasi serta mengkomunikasikan hasil penelitian-penelitian para dosen dan praktisi yang berkaitan dengan ruang lingkup studi ilmu-ilmu Al-Quran dan tafsir.

<![CDATA[This article discused about Qiraat Alquran from the narrator side to determine is this Qiraat accepted or rejected. In Quranic Sciences it is know as Qiraah Sab?ah, there are 3 requirements must be fulfilled by Qiraat in order tobe acccepted they are : its sanad must be mutawatir, which is accepted by the trusted teachers, has no problem inside, and has continuation link to prophet Muhammad saw., it also has to be famous among the Qiraat members, and compatible with arabic grammar. Qiraat Sab?ah is the Qiraah which has perfect continuation, which tranferred from prophet Muhammad saw. by a group of people who disagree to prevaricate, Qiraat Mutawatir is alegitimate and official qiraah from Alquran it is allowed to read during prayer or outside prayer using these rules of Qiraat.]]>

<![CDATA[The research on tafsir of the archipelago usually revolves around familiar tafsir literature, such as Tafsir Tarjuman al-Mustafid by Abd. ar-Ra'uf as-Singkili, Aceh, Tafsir Marah Labid li Kasyfi Ma'ani al-Qur'an al-Majid by Nawawi Al-Bantani, Tanara, Banten, Tafsir Al-Ibriz by Mustafa Bisri, Java and other. And research on tafsir in West Kalimantan has not been done much by researchers. Based on these reasons, researchers are interested in studying this theme further. This study uses a descriptive-analysis method and a historical-philosophical approach. The conclusion of this study is the epistemology of tafsir Surah al-Fatihah by M. Basiuni Imran : 1) the source of intepretation uses al-Qur`an, hadith and ulama?s opinion ; 2) with ijmaliy (global) method, rationality principle based on lexical-linguistic and literal of ayat, and than with textual approach ; and 3) the validation of interpretation contains the truth coherently and pragmaticlly.]]>

<![CDATA[The Quranic verse which is believed has multi-interpretation and can be understood from many aspects of sciences frequently brings people who did not have any competency in this field interpreting it based on their own desire and purpose to win a specific group from another. The phenomenon of interpreting some of the Qur?anic verses by some groups in the process of a gubernatorial election in DKI Jakarta produces different interpretations. Finally, this differences cause conflict and debate which cannot be avoided. Every groups assume their interpretation is absolute. As a result, they blame or infidel another group. This research examines the interpretations of the Qur?anic verses which are used during a gubernatorial election in DKI Jakarta. The object of this study based on texts and audio which are spread on the sites of the internet. All of the data will be interpreted based on the theory of interpretation rules approach. This research concludes that the personal or group interest is able to change the paradigm of the Qur?anic interpretation including political interest.]]>

<![CDATA[Surah al-Fatihah is a special letter of 114 letters in the Qur'an. This privilege has placed it as a letter that was recited in a number of times and became part of the pillars of prayer. In the sunglasses of tasawauf, al-Fatihah which is believed by one verse, namely Iyyaka Na`budu wa Iyyaka Nasta`in is the key in the straightness of a servant's faith to only Allah SWT, and plead with Him. The application in Sufism is the closeness of a servant to Allah who is intimately intertwined, thus creating a deep sense of love. The love of a servant to Allah SWT, has placed himself in the ability of himself to answer various problems and solve problems in his life. The above study is a study that is rarely achieved and owned by the servants of Allah, so that the Fatihah does not color his life in facing problems and problems. <![CDATA[This paper discusses the epistemology of the bi al-ma?tsur interpretation from the book of Jami? al-Bayan ?An Ta?wil Ay al-Qur?an author by al-Tabari. The description covers how the author takes sources, methods, styles, and steps. As an interpretation of bi al-ma?tsur, this interpretation book contributes to a relative different approach from the previous mufassir. Al-Tabari in the interpretation is very dominant in using some histories such as the hadith of the Prophet, companions, and tabi?in, then he select strong opinions in accordance with what he wants. Based on the epistemology basis of bayani in terms of al-Jabiri, this paper will be supplemented with the evidences of the tafsir al-Tabari, how it really is. With descriptive-analytic study, it was found that the epistemology base is a combination of bi al-ma?tsur and bi al-ra?yi which expresses many perspectives before it has been chosen as the truth by al-Tabari. Other than that, the step of interpreting the Qur?an from the beginning to the end in the order of the manuscripts, and its discussion reviewed in detail and length, the book of tafsir al-Tabari is classified that it uses method tahlili.]]>

<![CDATA[This study discusses the meaning of dowry contextually by using a historical-anthropological approach, assuming the dowry verse does not descend in empty space, but descends in the midst of the seventh-century ignorance Arab society which already has deep-rooted traditions. Anthropologically, the meaning of the dowry tradition is inseparable from the dynamics of culture that existed at that time. The scope of this study includes four things, first, the tradition of mahr in the ignorance period, second, the dialectic of God's revelation with the dowry tradition and the third review of Tasyakkul-Tasykil Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's theory and the fourth, anthropological studies of religion as culture with Geertz's theory model of reality and model for reality. In this study, there is a dialectic between the revelation of God and the tradition of dowry in the ignorant Arab community who consider dowry as a medium of exchange for women to be married. Alquran is present, by adopting the tradition of dowry that has been running but constructs the meaning and practice of dowry based on the world view Alquran. Alquran means dowry as a mandatory gift for proof of love and sincerity (saduqat) which is given voluntarily (nihlah) with the intention of worshiping Allah.]]>

<![CDATA[Clothing is often referred to as a form of identity or a measure of one's religiosity. So by looking at the development of modernization, this paper aims to describe the intrinsic meaning of clothing. The gap in shari'ah understanding and social reality that causes the birth of various views about clothing. Using the theory of social construction, the author tries to trace the propositions of the Al-Qur'an text which are often used to explain the command to dress according to the shari'ah. The results of this study are, clothing according to its development has a hidden modernization ideology. First, as a fashion trend that is often used in certain moments such as marriage, recitation, social gathering, and others. Second, as consumptive practices. A variety of clothing models are offered from the start of Muslim fashion shows to special Muslim clothing boutiques for sale at the mall. Third, as a personal symbol that can show a particular social class.]]>

<![CDATA[Discourse of leadership is always facual and actual to be discussed. It is increasingly discussed by Indonesian in which general elction is coming up this year. This article attempts to examine discourse of leadership on QS. Al-Baqarah 2 / 30-34 which is analyzed through semiotic perspective that is introduced by Charles Sander Pierce. The article finds that requirement of being khalifah which is discussed by Q. 2/31-34 is having knowledge. Besides, spiritual piety is needed to become khalifah but not as significant as having knowladge. In the other hand, the Qur'an, by Q. 2/31-34, criticizes that to become a leader is not depending on lineage factors and spiritual piety (only).]]>

<![CDATA[ The validity of Ibn ?Arabi?s ta?wil is much debated by experts, as is ishari interpretationin general. Some academics regard it as a deconstructive interpretation which subdues the Qur'anic text to mystical-gnostic teachings. But not a few argue that his mystical interpretation is in harmony with the principle of textuality. This article will discuss the epistemological construction of Ibn ?Arabi? ta?wil through an analysis of the hermeneutical assumptions he introduced. By using hermeneutic and sufistic psychology approaches, this qualitative research concludes that the ta?wil practiced by Ibn ?Arabi is a dialectical process between text and psychic-spiritual context, thus capturing various meanings in the Holy Text as a reflection of multi-dimensional reality. This kind of interpretation is literal because it imparts textual meaning, andat the same time spiritual because it also reaches inner unveiling. ]]>
