Abstract

This research examines how school facilities or infrastructure affect student academic performance. This research focuses on the impact of infrastructure on schools. The aim of this research is to find out how elementary school infrastructure affects learning activities and student learning outcomes. This research uses an associative method, which is a form of investigating cause and effect relationships. Fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 07 Integrated Pekanbaru participated in this research. Data was collected using direct contact techniques and tools such as questionnaires and interview guides. Based on the regression equation ζ = 4.175 + 0.504 t tabel = 1.985, there is a positive influence of 4.3% between the school facilities and infrastructure variable (X) on student learning achievement (Y), and Ho is rejected. Therefore, at a significance level of 5% it can be said that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because t hitung is greater than t tabel. Thus, the integrated school facilities and infrastructure of SD Muhammadiyah 07 Pekanbaru have a good and big influence on student learning success.

Abstract

Various challenges in character education in elementary schools come along with digitalization, including the phenomenon of early dating carried out by the alpha generation in elementary schools. They are digital natives who are inseparable from the digital content that is increasingly consumed. As a result, they have a tendency to imitate adult behavior, in this case dating. This study attempts to highlight the impact of digital content on the phenomenon of the early dating trend of the alpha generation in elementary schools. The method used is a phenomenological study with a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews with 34 subjects, observation, and documentation. The data collection was carried out in three schools with their own characteristics but with one link, namely digitalized schools, whether in cities, transition areas or villages. The results show that providing access to digitalization for children also brings digital content that triggers early dating behavior at elementary school age. Including creating the content itself. Various follow-up problems also arise such as decreased focus on learning, emotionality, and even violating religious rules. In this context, character education and guidance from elementary school teachers and parents are very necessary. In conditions on the ground, several strategies and solutions have been and will be implemented, such as monitoring, digital protection, religious education, sexual education, and collaborating with external parties. In conclusion, early dating is an unavoidable phenomenon in the digital era, but schools and families can collaborate together in preventing and handling it.

Abstract

Technological developments facilitate access to information, but create a dependency that often neglects in-depth analysis of the veracity of information. The ability to analyze information is important to maintain the integrity and credibility of information. This research aims to explore the relationship between philosophy and knowledge as two interrelated scientific domains, in order to understand the role of philosophy in shaping the basics of critical thinking and proper knowledge management. Data were taken from relevant books, journals, and articles, analyzed systematically to find the relationship between philosophy and knowledge. The results showed that philosophy, as the “mother of science,” provides a framework for critical and reflective thinking that underlies the process of knowledge development. Knowledge is generated through the interaction between experience, observation, and rational thought. The research also discusses different types of knowledge based on their patterns and levels, including ordinary, scientific, philosophical, and religious knowledge. Philosophy and knowledge complement each other. Philosophy is a tool to understand the nature of truth, while knowledge is the concrete result of the philosophical process. The combination of the two forms a solid foundation for the analysis of information and the development of science, which ultimately helps humans make wise and responsible decisions amidst the challenges of the times.
