Abstract

The lack of disciplinary character in learners is a challenge in education today. This study describes the process of instilling the character of students through daily habituation with a behaviorist approach, identifying the disciplinary character of students formed from routine activities and identifying the supporting factors for the success of the program. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research shows that morning habits such as ceremonies, gymnastics, rihlah, GELIS and SABAR are effective in improving student discipline. The success of this character building is supported by a conducive environment and the role of the teacher.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Management of education funds and financial supervision are crucial aspects in improving the quality of education in State Middle Schools in Cepu District. This research aims to analyze how the management of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds and financial supervision can contribute to improving the quality of education. Effective management of education funds involves transparent and accountable planning, implementation and evaluation, in accordance with guidelines set by the government. In this context, good financial supervision can prevent irregularities and ensure that funds are used for optimal educational purposes. The research results show that the participation of all stakeholders, including school principals, teachers and school committees, is very important in the process of managing and monitoring education funds. Apart from that, implementing a good internal control system also plays a role in increasing transparency and accountability in the use of funds. Thus, good management of education funds not only contributes to improving educational facilities and infrastructure, but also to improving the overall quality of education in State Middle Schools in Cepu District. It is hoped that this research will provide insight for policy makers and education practitioners in efforts to improve the quality of education through effective financial management and supervision. Abstract

This research explores the use of metalinguistic elements in ethnopoetics as a strategy to increase students' language awareness, particularly among PGSD students at PGRI Delta University. By combining linguistic and cultural aspects, this approach aims to provide a holistic understanding of language and improve the ability to analyze and use language in a multicultural context. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through structured observation. The results showed that metalinguistic elements, such as phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, can be applied in learning Indonesian in elementary schools. This helps PGSD students in teaching local cultural values and improving students' communication skills. The implementation of these metalinguistic elements contributes to increased language awareness, reading and writing ability, and more effective communication skills. This research highlights the importance of understanding language as a means of communication and cultural expression, and how metalinguistic elements can help students understand oral traditions and social values. The integration of metalinguistic elements in learning not only enhances students' learning experience but also prepares them to become better communicators.

Abstract

This research is grounded in the findings of a preliminary study conducted on 3rd-grade students at SDN 06 Pagi Kebon Jeruk, revealing a high level of student attachment to their gadgets. This attachment carries the potential risk of gadget addiction, leading to psychological disturbances such as concentration problems, hyperactivity, and moral behavior issues in children. The primary aim of this study is to investigate the impact of gadget usage on the moral development of 3rd-grade elementary school students at SDN 06 Pagi Kebon Jeruk. The research employs a quantitative associative approach. The research population comprises 96 participants of third-grade students at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 06 Pagi Kebon Jeruk Jakarta Barat. In The sample in this study was selected using the total sampling technique.. Data were collected through a questionnaire instrument utilizing a Likert scale. The study reveals a significant positive influence of gadget usage on the moral development of children at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 06 Pagi Kebon Jeruk Jakarta Barat (sig p 0.044, with a simple linear regression equation Y= 32.954 -0.185X) and an R-square value of 0.43, indicating a 43% influence of gadget usage on child development. The remaining percentage is influenced by other variables or factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sumber-sumber konflik yang terjadi di SDN Pendrikan Kidul dan menganalisis dampaknya terhadap dinamika pengambilan keputusan di sekolah. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membahas strategi negosiasi yang diterapkan dalam mengelola konflik antara kepala sekolah dan guru, serta mengevaluasi efektivitasnya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan kajian dokumen. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa konflik di SDN Pendrikan Kidul sering muncul karena perbedaan persepsi antar pemangku kepentingan, komunikasi yang kurang efektif, dan pembagian sumber daya yang tidak merata. Kesimpulannya dengan manajemen konflik yang tepat, termasuk penerapan strategi negosiasi berbasis kompromi dan kolaborasi, konflik tersebut dapat diubah menjadi peluang untuk perbaikan organisasi. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan negosiasi, komunikasi yang lebih inklusif, dan penerapan strategi kolaboratif dalam manajemen konflik di sekolah. Kontribusi penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan dan solusi praktis bagi sekolah-sekolah lain dalam menghadapi dinamika konflik internal dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to explain the process of student’s learning in critical thinking skill using sciensce e-books assisted by project-based learning models in grade V of elementary school, describing critical thinking skills using science e-books on human digestive system material. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in grade V of elementary school. The subjects of this study were grade V elementary school students. The data analysis technique used in this study used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the learning process of human digestive system material using science e-books media can train critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Keywords: E-book IPA, Project-Based Learning, Critical Thinking ABSTRAK Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pembelajaran siswa dalam keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan e-book IPA berbantuan model project-based learning di kelas V Sekolah Dasar, mendeskripsikan keterampilan berpikir kritis menggunakan e-book IPA materi sistem pencernaan manusia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar kelas V. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran materi sistem pencernaan manusia dengan menggunakan media e-book IPA dapat melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa Sekolah Dasar. Abstract

ABSTRACT Improving the quality of education can be started from schools, as the main pillar in producing competent human resources, school principals play a crucial role in realizing it, namely through quality performance, empirical facts in the field show that there are still principals who have not optimized the implementation of their performance, through this study it is hoped that there will be a solution that can improve the performance of school principals, namely through the assistance of school supervisors. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of feedback methods and strategies applied in supervisor mentoring on improving the performance of school principals. The research approach is qualitative with a literature study method, where data is obtained from various sources of relevant scientific literature, including scholarly journals, research reports, books, and policy documents related to supervisor mentoring, methods, mentoring feedback strategies and principal performance improvement. This research discusses mentoring methods, namely training, mentoring, coaching, facilitating and consulting and mentoring feedback strategies, namely generating, encouraging and shaping feedback which are considered capable of having an impact on improving the performance of school principals. The results of the study are 1) The effectiveness of differentiated mentoring methods can improve the performance of school principals, 2) The selection of appropriate and effective feedback strategies will have implications for improving principal performance and 3) Feedback methods and strategies when juxtaposed in mentoring activities will have a very good impact on improving principal performance. The conclusion of the research is that the synergy between the method and the feedback strategy of supervisor mentoring will create a continuous development cycle that contributes significantly to improving the performance of school principals, which in turn has an impact on improving the quality of learning. Keywords: Supervisor mentoring, methods, feedback, principal performance ABSTRAK Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dapat dimulai dari sekolah, sebagai pilar utama dalam menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten, kepala sekolah berperan krusial dalam mewujudkannya, yaitu melalui kinerja yang berkualitas, fakta empiris di lapangan menunjukan masih ada kepala sekolah yang belum mengoptimal pelaksanaan kinerjanya, melalui penelitian ini diharapkan ada solusi yang dapat meningkatkan kinerja kepala sekolah, yaitu melalui pendampingan pengawas sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas metode dan strategi umpan balik yang diterapkan dalam pendampingan pengawas terhadap peningkatan kinerja kepala sekolah. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur, di mana data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber literatur ilmiah yang relevan, termasuk jurnal yang ilmiah, laporan penelitian, buku, dan dokumen kebijakan terkait pendampingan pengawas, metode, strategi umpan balik pendampingan dan peningkatan kinerja kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini membahas metode pendampingan yaitu training, mentoring, coaching, fasilitacing dan consulting dan strategi umpan balik pendampingan yaitu umpan balik pembangkit, penyemangat dan pembetuk yang dianggap mampu memberikan dampak terhadap peningkatan kinerja kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian adalah 1) Efektivitas metode pendampingan yang dilakukan secara berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan kinerja kepala sekolah, 2) Pemilihan strategi umpan balik yang tepat dan efektif akan memberikan implikasi terhadap peningkatan kinerja kepala sekolah dan 3) Metode dan strategi umpan balik jika disandingkan dalam kegiatan pendampingan akan memberikan dampak yang sangat bagus dalam peningkatan kinerja kepala sekolah. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah sinergi antara metode dengan strategi umpan balik pendampingan pengawas akan menciptakan siklus pengembangan berkelanjutan yang berkontribusi signifikan pada peningkatan kinerja kepala sekolah, yang pada akhirnya berdampak pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pemanfaatan media pembelajaran Buku Creator dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep nilai tempat pada siswa kelas III MIN 3 Kota Palangkaraya. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada nilai posttest dibandingkan pretest. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain berada dalam kategori sedang hingga tinggi, yang menunjukkan bahwa media Buku Creator efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran matematika. Media ini juga meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan memperkuat pemahaman konsep secara visual. Disarankan agar media ini terus dikembangkan dan diimplementasikan secara lebih luas.

Abstract

Bullying is an act or behavior that is intentional and persistent both individually and in groups through verbal, physical, and psychological behavior that aims to cause physical, social, and psychological harm to someone.This study aims to describe bullying behavior that occurs in students at the UPT SDN 060874 Medan Perjuangan school, this research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through 3 ways, namely observation, interviews, and questionnaires.The results showed that almost most of the students had experienced bullying. Bullying behavior is divided into three types, namely verbal, relational and physical bullying.Verbal bullying behavior that exists such as taunts by calling parents names, physical taunts, minority discrimination, and also taunts because of weaknesses such as stupid, smelly, yelling and cheering.Relational bullying is an action that can be felt emotionally and physically, relational bullying that occurs is playing in groups (gangs), spreading gossip or inciting, using bad body language such as glaring sarcastically, looking away, inhabiting friends (hostile), and facial expressions that demean others.Physical bullying is an action that is carried out directly against the human body, physical bullying behavior that occurs is, pulling friends' clothes and bags, damaging friends' belongings, tripping legs, crossing friends' hands and tables, pushing friends.

Abstract

Persoalan mendasar dalam setiap pelaksanaan pembelajaran, termasuk pembelajaran IPAS adalah bagaimana guru dapat mengelola pembelajaran yang membuat siswa paham, aktif, dan pada akhirnya memperoleh hasil belajar yang memuaskan. Diperlukan materi pembelajaran yang menarik dan relevan, serta metode pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep-konsep yang kompleks dengan cara yang lebih mudah dan menyenangkan. Salah satu media yang dapat digunakan adalah dadu ADIKSIMBA, sebuah alat bantu pembelajaran yang dirancang untuk membuat proses belajar mengajar menjadi lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. ADIKSIMBA merupakan akronim dari konsep saintifik yang terdiri atas kata tanya "apa, di mana, kapan, siapa, mengapa, dan bagaimana". Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian eksploratif. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data berupa informasi yang terhimpun dari kata-kata yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan narasumber dan observasi. Data bersumber dari informasi yang diberikan oleh responden dan catatan peneliti yang diperoleh pada saat observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, penggunaan media dadu ADIKSIMBA dalam pembelajaran IPAS materi pengecekan keaslian uang memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemahaman, keaktifan, dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas IV. Selain itu, prestasi belajar siswa juga meningkat melalui evaluasi yang rutin dan kolaborasi dengan orang tua. Guru secara aktif memantau kemajuan belajar siswa dan memberikan bimbingan yang tepat sasaran, sementara kolaborasi dengan orang tua membantu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung baik di rumah maupun di sekolah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif seperti dadu ADIKSIMBA dapat menjadi model untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar.
