Pendas : Jurnah Ilmiah Pendidikan Dasar is a journal published twice a year, namely in June and December that aims to be a forum for scientific publications to pour ideas and studies complemented with the results of research related to primary school education. To achieve this, basic education journals will selectively disseminate ideas and studies complemented by quality research results related to basic education, develop an education center to the elementary-school that can produce innovative, creative and original work and tested in the field of education and learning elementary School to be disseminated and implemented for improving the quality of primary-to-national education at the national, regional and international levels.

This study was motivated by the low science process skills of students during learning. Many students are less active and do not pay attention to learning activities, so that learning outcomes are not optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Children Learning In Science learning model on students' science process skills on food chain material. The method used was quasi experiment with posttest only control design. This study involved two groups, namely the experimental class using the Children Learning In Science model and the control class using conventional methods. Consisting of two classes, namely VA and VB SDN Keboananom Gedangan. The data collection method in this study was through tests. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous based on normality and homogeneity tests. Hypothesis testing using t-test shows a significance value of (0.003, <0.005). This result proves that there is a significant effect of Children Learning In Science learning model on students' science process skills. In conclusion, the Children Learning In Science learning model can improve students' science process skills, especially in understanding food chain material. This model is effectively applied to create interactive, interesting, and meaningful learning, so it can be used as an alternative in improving the quality of learning.

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade II students of SDN 20 Mataram through the TaRL (Teaching at the Right Level) approach in Mathematics. Mathematics is a scary subject and is considered difficult by students who are raised because of the inability of students to solve problems related to calculations and analysis such as multiplication, division, fractions, or mathematical symbols. Moreover, SDN 20 Mataram is an inclusive school that has more than 2 inclusive students or ABK (Children with Special Needs) in each class. This is certainly a concern for teachers to determine learning strategies in the classroom. The design of this study was carried out in 2 cycles with four important components, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Participants in this study were all grade II students as many as 9 male students. This study used data collection techniques, observation and tests and data analysis techniques used were descriptive quantitative. The research results obtained in cycle I participants were 3 students who completed the course with a percentage of 33%, while 6 students who did not complete or did not meet the KKM (70) were 6 students with a percentage of 67% of the total number of 9 students. In cycle II, 7 students completed the course with a percentage of 78%, while 2 students did not complete the course with a percentage of 22%. Thus, it can be concluded that through the TaRL approach (Teaching at the Right Level) can improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics subjects.

This study aims to examine the application of adult content filtering as an effort to strengthen noble moral values in elementary school students in Islamic Religious Education. The method used is a literature study by collecting and analyzing literature from various trusted sources. The results showed that the implementation of parental control software and the active involvement of teachers and parents are effective strategies in limiting students' access to inappropriate content. However, challenges such as lack of technological knowledge and infrastructure support require an integrated solution. This research emphasizes the importance of synergy between school and family in creating a conducive learning environment for students' character building based on Islamic values. The findings are expected to serve as a reference in the development of educational policies that support the wise use of technology.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between teacher professionalism and education quality in Indonesia, especially in the context of regional autonomy. The issues raised include the challenges faced by the education system, such as inequitable access to education and teaching quality. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with data collection through interviews and surveys of teachers, students and education stakeholders in several regions. The results show that there is a significant relationship between teacher professionalism and improving the quality of education, where teachers who have good pedagogical competence and professional attitudes are able to create a conducive learning environment. In addition, factors such as adequate education facilities and parental and community involvement also contribute to student learning outcomes. This study recommends improving the quality of teacher training, developing equitable education policies and improving teachers' welfare to support their professionalism. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective education policies in Indonesia.

This research aims to explore leadership development rooted in Minangkabau cultural values in a modern context. The issue raised is the challenges faced by the younger generation in maintaining cultural values amid the influence of globalization and social change. The methodology used was a qualitative approach with a literature study design, which involved analyzing literature related to transformational, situational, and participatory leadership theories, as well as the application of Minangkabau cultural values. The results showed that effective leadership can be achieved by integrating cultural values such as gotong royong and deliberation in leadership practices. In addition, leadership development strategies that include training, education, and the use of technology are needed to strengthen the involvement of the younger generation. Practical projects, such as youth leadership programs and cultural festivals, have proven effective in strengthening cultural values among the younger generation. Further research is needed to explore the long-term impact of these programs and identify best practices in different contexts.

This study aims to explore how the management standards implemented at Adzkia Integrated Islamic Primary School (SDIT) West Sumatra contribute to the development of student character. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review and direct observation at SDIT Adzkia. The research subjects involved principals, teachers, administrative staff, students, and parents. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The results show that the implementation of Islamic value-based management standards involves curriculum management, human resources, finance, and relationships with parents. The implementation of these standards succeeded in improving students' discipline, responsibility, and empathy. However, some challenges such as limited resources and variability in staff commitment remain. In conclusion, Islamic value-based management standards can be an effective character education model if supported by close collaboration between schools and families and continuous training for educators. Recommendations are given to strengthen program evaluation and increase parental involvement in character education.

This research aims to analyze how globalization affects leadership ethics and identify the educational issues that arise as a result of this phenomenon. The methodology used is a literature study and qualitative analysis of relevant data, including interviews with educational leaders and analysis of educational policies in various countries. The results show that leaders need to understand cultural complexities and apply ethical principles in decision-making. In addition, although globalization provides greater access to knowledge, the access gap and commercialization of education are significant challenges. The research recommends the development of digital infrastructure, curriculum revision and teacher training to improve the quality of education. In addition, international collaboration and strengthening local values in education are also considered important to maintain cultural identity amid globalization. The findings are expected to provide insights for leaders and policymakers in facing the challenges of globalization ethically and effectively

This research aims to examine the implementation of distinctive quality standards in Integrated Islamic Schools (JSIT) through a conceptual approach. The main focus of the research is how Islamic values are integrated in curriculum, learning, and evaluation at JSIT. The method used is a literature study, by reviewing literature related to integrative curriculum, holistic education, and value-based evaluation. The results showed that JSIT combines the national curriculum with Islamic values, creating balanced learning between cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Teachers act not only as teachers but also moral guides (murabbi), forming an environment that supports students' Islamic character. Evaluation not only measures academic achievement, but also students' character and spiritual development. This study suggests the need for continuous training for educators and further research to explore more deeply the effect of implementation on learning outcomes and student character.

This research aims to explore the creation of a holistic, comprehensive, religious and rahmatan lil'alamin educational atmosphere in schools. The issue raised was the lack of integration of spiritual and moral values in an education system that often focuses on academic aspects alone. The methodology used was a literature study, which involved analyzing various literatures related to holistic and religious education. The results showed that the religious environment in schools plays an important role in shaping students' character, increasing tolerance and strengthening moral values. In addition, the history of comprehensive holistic education in Indonesia shows that this approach has been recognized as a solution to create a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has integrity and social care. This research also found that the foundation of comprehensive holistic education is rooted in rich cultural and religious values, which can be integrated in the curriculum.

This study aims to examine the concepts of Islamic Education and Islamic Law, as well as their interrelation in addressing issues of marginalization in society. The problem addressed is how these two concepts can contribute to creating moral individuals and a just society, particularly for marginalized groups. The methodology used is a literature review, with data collected from various sources, including relevant books and articles. The findings indicate that Islamic Education serves as an empowerment tool that not only teaches academic knowledge but also shapes the character and morality of individuals. Islamic Law plays a crucial role in maintaining justice and protecting human rights, thereby addressing the social injustices faced by marginalized groups. The interconnection between Islamic Education and Islamic Law is essential in creating individuals capable of applying justice values in their daily lives.
