Abstract

This study is motivated by the low student learning outcomes on growth material and the level of student understanding is still not at the level of reflective thinking. This study aims to explore the effect of Environment-Based Guided Inquiry learning on students' reflective thinking skills on grade V growth material and describe students' reflective thinking responses after the application of the learning model. This research uses descriptive quantitative research methods. The research was conducted at SDN Kepuh Kiriman 1 Waru Sidoarjo with the subject of VA class 27 students and VB class 29 students. Data collection was done through observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the application of the environment-based guided inquiry learning model significantly improved students' reflective thinking skills based on 4 categories of reflective thinking scales, namely Habitual Action, Understanding, Reflection, and Critical Reflection. In experimental class 1, the majority of students' reflective thinking is at the Habitual Action level, where students are already at the level of understanding the material. In experimental class 2, the increase in reflective thinking was in the Habitual Action to Critical Reflection category, and the majority was at the Critical Reflection level where students were able to dig deeper information about the material studied and draw conclusions. The average posttest score of experimental class 1 (VA) was higher than experimental class 2 (VB), with N-Gain showing a high category in both classes. Students' response to this learning model was very positive.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of using the Problem-Based Learning model with the Ular Tapa media in the Pancasila Education subject for fifth-grade students at SDN Jembangan 01. This quantitative research was conducted using an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was carried out during the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. All 28 fifth-grade students at SDN Jembangan 01 were selected as the sample for this research. This study employed a paired sample t-test to determine the significance of the improvement in learning outcomes between the pretest and posttest. The results of the paired sample t-test analysis showed a significance value of -37.371. The results of the N-Gain test calculation showed an N-Gain score of 0.7379, which is classified as high. Meanwhile, the N-Gain percentage was found to be an average of 73.7821, indicating a fairly effective level

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan di salah satu SD Kota Sidoarjo yang dimana hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa siswa perlu meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir reflektif mereka. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan paradigma problem-based learning (PBL) bersama dengan media video berbasis animasi interaktif terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa Kelas V terhadap konten yang saling terkait. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kuantitatif Deskriptif dan menggunakan jenis rancangan Quasi Eksperimental Design. Studi ini, di lakukan pada dua kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan pembelajaran dengan model (PBL) pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang didukung oleh media video interaktif berbasis animasi pada mata pelajaran IPAS mengenai materi rantai makanan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dengan hasil uji hipotesis kelas eksperimen 1 nilai t-hitung> t-tabel 19,21 > 2,06, kelas eksperimen 2 nilai t-hitung > t-tabel 19,46 > 2,06, hasil N-Gain kelas eksperimen 1 dengan nilai 0,69 dan kelas eksperimen 2 dengan nilai 0,68. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari penerapan model PBL menggunakan media video interaktif berbasis animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif materi rantai makanan di kelas v.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur pengaruh transformational leadership, employee creativity, employee motivation, terhadap employee performance dimediasi oleh organization culture. Objek penelitian ini adalah employee performance, kinerja karyawan belum mencapai prestasi dan achievement yang diharapkan sekolah. Data penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan total sampling yang ada di Sekolah XYZ Manado. Karyawan yang mengisi kuesioner sebanyak 62 responden. Data penelitian menggunakan analisis partial least squares – structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) kemudian diukur menggunakan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil pengukuran inner model pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) transformational leadership berpengaruh positif terhadap organization culture; (2) transformational leadership tidak berpengaruh terhadap employee performance; (3) organization culture tidak berpengaruh terhadap employee performance: (4) employee creativity memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap employee performance; (5) employee motivation memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap employee performance; (6) transformational leadership tidak berpengaruh terhadap employee performance dimediasi oleh organization culture.

Abstract

Teacher creativity in the learning process has a central role in helping increase students' interest in learning. Through creative and fun teaching methods, it is hoped that teachers can help increase students' interest in learning at school. Interest in learning is important to encourage students to be more active and active in achieving their learning goals. This research aims to determine the relationship between teacher creativity and the learning interest of class V students at SDN 82 Singkawang. The population in this study was 47 students, namely students in classes Va and Vb. Meanwhile, the sample is the total number of the population, namely 47 students. The sampling technique uses saturated samples or total sampling. Research data was obtained using a questionnaire. The results of data analysis show that there is no relationship between teacher creativity and student interest in learning. This can be seen from the correlation hypothesis test which shows that the normality of the teacher creativity questionnaire and the student interest questionnaire are not normally distributed with the decision of a sig value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.00 < 0.05, meaning that the data obtained is not normally distributed. Judging from the calculation results of the data from the two questionnaires which were not normally distributed, the researcher calculated using the Spearman Rank correlation analysis technique with results of 0.203 > 0.05 with a significance level of a= 0.05 with the number of students (n)= 47 students, then Ho was accepted, meaning that there was no significant relationship between variables X (teacher creativity) and Y (interest in learning) with a very low level of relationship. Therefore, the research results show that there is no significant relationship between teacher creativity and the learning interest of class V students at SDN 82 Singkawang.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to apply media assisted by the Canva application to improve Civics learning outcomes for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 38 Central Maluku. Quantitative method research type or Classroom Action Research (PTK). From the results of this research, it can be concluded that the application of media assisted by the Canva application to improve students' Civics learning outcomes in class VIII at SMPN 38 Central Maluku is: 1) The teacher carries out apperception by providing a video that is broadcast using the Canva application for students to view and the students provide feedback regarding in the video, 2) The teacher divides the students into several groups to solve the problems given by the teacher, 3) The teacher gives students to discuss to solve the problems given, 4) The teacher gives the students the opportunity to present problems that have been successfully solved, 5) The teacher provides reinforcement and conclusions about the results found and the material taught. This research also shows that there is an increase with the application of media assisted by the Canva application in learning. This can be seen from the increase in the results of cycle I, cycle II and cycle III. In the results of the first cycle, the average student score was 65.3, 7 students who achieved completeness had a percentage of 20%, while 23 students who had not completed it had a percentage of 80%. In cycle II the average student score was 75.3%, students who had completed 50% with a total of 15 students and the remaining students who had not completed were also 15 students with a percentage of 50%. Meanwhile, in cycle III the average student score was 84.6%, students who completed it were 96.7% with a total of 29 students and 1 student who had not completed it with a percentage of 3.3% due to not attending school/Alpa. Thus, this classroom action research was completed in cycle III and did not continue in subsequent cycles.

Abstract

This research was carried out with the primary goal of identifying a notable impact stemming from the utilization of problem-based learning models that are grounded in multiliteracy. Within the framework of multiliteracy-based problem- based learning, students are actively encouraged to tackle problems by employing a diverse set of literacy proficiencies, encompassing reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The methodological approach adopted for this study involved a quasi-experimental design, employing both pre-tests and post-tests administered to students in both the control and experimental groups; the participants in this research consisted of students from grades V-A and V-B at SDN Dukuh Menanggal I/424 Surabaya. The collection of research data was achieved through the administration of pre-tests and post-tests, which were completed by the students themselves. The data analysis techniques implemented incorporated essential prerequisite tests, which included normality tests, homogeneity tests, as well as hypothesis tests. The findings of the study indicated that the implementation of a multiliteracy-based problem-based learning model does, in fact, exert an influence on students' comprehension of reading content. The application of this pedagogical model has the potential to enhance students' understanding of the material they read, particularly in areas such as reading comprehension, analytical skills, and the ability to critically evaluate information. Furthermore, the deployment of this model is capable of optimizing students' competencies when it comes to articulating opinions, ideas, and concepts in a manner that is both more organized and structured. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes and reflective thinking skills of 5th-grade students on the topic of Light and Its Properties. Reflective thinking has never been implemented at SD Negeri Tembok Dukuh IV/86 Surabaya. Observations revealed that the science scores in Class VA and Class VB for this topic were still low. This study aims to examine the impact of the Guided Inquiry learning model using PhET Simulation on students' reflective thinking skills and to measure the improvement of these skills after applying the model. The research employs a quantitative descriptive method, with subjects from Class VA (25 students) and Class VB (24 students) in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection was done through observations, written tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The results show a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes after the implementation of this learning model. Additionally, students demonstrated enhanced reflective thinking skills, particularly in the areas of habitual action, understanding, reflection, and critical reflection. In conclusion, the Guided Inquiry learning model using PhET Simulation is effective in improving students' learning outcomes and reflective thinking skills on the topic of Light and Its Properties. This model also encourages a more interactive, engaging, and relevant learning experience for students.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman membaca siswa dalam mengidentifikasi ide pokok pada teks informatif akibat kurang optimalnya asesmen pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan desain, mendeskripsikan hasil validasi uji kelayakan, dan mendeskripsikan keefektifan asesmen aplikasi quizizz berbasis Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) dalam pembelajaran mengidentifikasi ide pokok teks informatif siswa kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (RnD) dengan model Borg & Gall, melibatkan siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Deles 03 (9 siswa) untuk uji coba kelompok kecil dan SD Negeri Deles 01 (26 siswa) untuk uji coba kelompok besar. Desain pengembangan asesmen aplikasi tersebut dikembangkan berdasarkan kebutuhan guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Asesmen tersebut berupa integrasi konten kearifan lokal dalam teks informatif yang dipadukan dengan instrumen asesmen aplikasi quizizz yang menggabungkan budaya, tradisi, dan cerita rakyat. Hasil validasi menunjukkan asesmen ini sangat layak digunakan dengan skor kelayakan 88,5 dari ahli media dan 89,7 dari ahli materi. Keefektifan asesmen dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata pretest 37,69 menjadi 86,19 pada posttest serta peningkatan ketuntasan siswa dari 0% menjadi 100%. Uji Paired Sample T-Test dan Wilcoxon menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan asesmen, sementara uji N-Gain menghasilkan skor 0,827908 (kategori tinggi), membuktikan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Dengan teknologi, gamifikasi, dan pendekatan pedagogis yang tepat, asesmen ini tidak hanya sebagai alat evaluasi tetapi juga mendorong keterlibatan siswa secara aktif, sehingga efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca.

Abstract

This study discusses student and teacher responses to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) in Arabic language learning at SMPIT Darul Fikri Sidoarjo. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, aiming to describe perceptions, experiences, and challenges encountered in its application. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires involving 51 eighth-grade students and one Arabic language teacher. The findings indicate that students benefit from more flexible and practice-based learning methods, which enhance their understanding and interest in Arabic. Teachers also experience greater flexibility in designing teaching strategies, although they still face challenges in material preparation and limited supporting facilities. Overall, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Arabic language learning at SMPIT Darul Fikri Sidoarjo has had a positive impact, yet further optimization in technical aspects and learning facilities is needed for greater effectiveness.
