Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the cognitive restructuring technique within the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach in enhancing students’ self-esteem. The method used is a literature review by analyzing four relevant articles. The results indicate that cognitive restructuring consistently improves self- esteem by transforming negative thinking patterns into more rational and adaptive ones. This technique proves effective in various contexts, including general students, victims of body shaming, and approaches that integrate spiritual values. These findings suggest that cognitive restructuring is a flexible and applicable intervention for school counseling services. Further research is recommended to explore qualitative approaches and the integration of technology in counseling practices.

Abstract

Eksploitasi anak dalam dunia pendidikan merupakan masalah yang sering kali tidak disadari oleh keluarga, terutama dalam bentuk tekanan akademik atau pemberian tanggung jawab yang tidak sesuai usia anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran lingkungan keluarga dalam mencegah eksploitasi anak usia dini di PAUD Bintang Ranggasolo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan orang tua, serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada wali murid dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar orang tua belum memahami secara utuh bentuk eksploitasi anak dalam konteks pendidikan. Banyak orang tua yang, tanpa disadari, membebani anak dengan tugas atau tekanan belajar yang berlebihan. Namun, setelah adanya sosialisasi dari pihak sekolah dan keterlibatan dalam kegiatan parenting, pemahaman orang tua mulai mengalami perubahan. Lingkungan keluarga yang terbuka, mendukung, dan memperhatikan kebutuhan perkembangan anak terbukti berperan penting dalam mencegah eksploitasi Kesimpulannya, keluarga memiliki peran utama dalam memberikan perlindungan kepada anak dari eksploitasi, dengan cara memahami kebutuhan anak sesuai tahap usianya, memberikan waktu bermain yang cukup, serta menghindari tuntutan berlebihan dalam aspek pendidikan. Upaya edukasi dan pendampingan kepada orang tua perlu terus dilakukan agar hak-hak anak usia dini dapat terjaga dengan baik.

Abstract

Sigmund Freud came up with the theory of psychoanalysis which consists of the subconscious mind and the conscious mind. Sigmund Freud's thinking says that consciousness is only a small part of mental life. Most of it is just the subconscious or unconscious, According to Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, the subconscious mind is defined as a collection of feelings, thoughts, drives, and memories that are beyond consciousness. Freud believed that the unconscious continues to fulfill behavior even though people are not aware of it. The purpose of psychoanalytic theory counseling is to reshape the individual's character structure by making the unconscious conscious in the individual.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest and learning outcomes of first grade students of SDN Silih Asuh 2 in Mathematics, especially in the material on measuring length using non-standard units. Students are less active in learning, do not understand the concept of length, and have difficulty in measuring and comparing the length of objects. The purpose of this study is to improve students' interest and learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 20 first grade students of SDN Silih Asuh 2. Data collection techniques used include observation, documentation, and learning outcome tests. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning model can improve students' interest and learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle stage, only 7 students (35%) achieved scores above the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM). After the implementation of the PBL model, the number of students who completed the program increased to 13 students (65%) in cycle I, and reached 18 students (90%) in cycle II. Abstract

This study aims to improve students' listening skills through a question and answer method that involves active interaction between teachers and students. Lack of listening skills in students requires a focused and structured approach so that listening skills can develop gradually. Listening is understood as a means to understand the meaning of language sounds, which requires discipline, concentration, active participation, and understanding and assessment. Through the question and answer method, students are expected to be able to improve their responses to questions and improve their understanding of the material presented. With optimal listening skills, students will gain new knowledge and insights that can support the development of their potential. This study is expected to contribute to improving the quality of learning through improving listening skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

The Ibn Tulun Dynasty was the first autonomous dynasty to rule Egypt and its surrounding regions, such as Syria and Hijaz, in the 9th century CE, existing from 868 until its fall in 905 CE. This dynasty was founded by Ahmad ibn Tulun, who was initially appointed as governor by the Abbasid Caliphate but later declared his political independence. The reign of the Ibn Thulun Dynasty was marked by significant advancements in military, political, economic, and architectural fields, including the construction of the city of al-Qata’i and the magnificent Ibn Thulun Mosque. Ahmad ibn Thulun implemented effectiv public policies to maintain political stability and security, strengthen the military, and develop agricultural and trade infrastructure. However, this dynasty only lasted about 38 years due to the lack of a strong national foundation and the inability of its successors to maintain power, ultimately being reclaimed by the Abbasids. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with literature study to examine the establishment process, development, contributions, and causes of the collapse of the Ibn Tulun Dynasty in the context of Islamic civilization history in Egypt.

Abstract

Homesickness is a profound emotional longing for home, commonly experienced by students who live far from their families and familiar environments. This condition may trigger various psychological symptoms such as anxiety, loneliness, reduced academic motivation, and even depression. One of the therapeutic approaches used to address homesickness is Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), a cognitive-behavioral therapy developed by Albert Ellis. This literature review aims to analyze the effectiveness of REBT in reducing the intensity of homesickness among migrant students. The study is based on a systematic review of relevant scholarly articles that discuss REBT interventions among university populations. The findings indicate that REBT helps individuals identify and replace irrational beliefs—often at the root of negative emotions—with more rational and adaptive thought patterns. Techniques such as disputing, reframing, and home assignments have been shown to enhance emotional resilience and coping skills. Therefore, REBT is considered an effective intervention that can be applied in higher education settings as a promotive and preventive strategy for psychological issues related to homesickness.

Abstract

his study examines the implementation of interactive presentation methods which aims to determine the implementation of interactive presentation methods to increase student participation in learning, the disadvantages and advantages of interactive presentation methods and the implications of applying interactive presentation methods on students in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method through a case study allowing researchers to explore the practice of implementing interactive presentation methods in depth and specifically in the context of this college. Two data sources are used, namely primary data sources including 2 semester students and for secondary data sources, namely various literature related to interactive presentation methods. The data collection techniques are through interviews, observation and documentation. Furthermore, data analysis with the method thematic analysis Based on the findings, it shows that semester students 2 The implementation of interactive presentation methods is able to increase student participation in learning. Student enthusiasm in asking, refuting, answering and providing additional material. The interactive presentation method greatly affects the motivation to participate in learning. However, in its implementation there are still some obstacles, namely presenters who do not master the material so that what is conveyed cannot beunderstood and the limitations of the tools or devices needed by the students.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the development of Canva-assisted learning media on Indonesian cultural diversity material for fifth grade elementary school students and to determine the validity of the Canva-assisted learning media that has been created. The methodology used is R&D with the ADDIE development model. The development target is 21 students, 10 of whom are 2 material experts, 2 language experts, and 2 media experts. The research instruments used were material validation questionnaires, language validation questionnaires, media validation questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The research results obtained material validation of 94.06% in the "Very Valid" category. Language validation is 96.87% with the "Very Valid" category. Media validation is 97.18% in the "Very Valid" category. Overall, the validity of Canva-assisted learning media obtained an average score of 96.03% so that Canva-assisted learning media was categorized as very valid without revision and suitable for use. The teacher response results were 100% in the "Very positive" category. The results of 100% of student responses were in the "Very Positive" category. Based on research data, it shows that the Canva-assisted learning media developed is very suitable for use in Pancasila education subjects on Indonesian cultural diversity material for fifth grade elementary school students.
