Abstract

This study aims to analyze the foot movement patterns in the 100-meter sprint to enhance athlete performance, particularly during the initial acceleration phase. A descriptive qualitative method was employed with a 28-year-old sprinter who had competitive experience in the 100-meter sprint as the research subject. Data were collected through video recordings of the first 20 meters of the sprint track and observation sheets to assess biomechanical variables, including time, average speed, number and frequency of strides, stride length, knee and hip angles, as well as body posture. The results revealed that the athlete covered the first 20 meters in 3.93 seconds with an average speed of 5.04 m/s, completing 14 strides with an average stride length of 108.63 cm and a stride frequency of 3.33 strides/second. Biomechanical analysis showed a knee angle of 96.6°, a hip angle of 90.5°, and a body lean of 119.8°, all of which fall within the optimal range according to the literature. These findings indicate that the athlete’s acceleration performance is close to the semi-professional to professional sprinter standards; however, stride frequency improvement is still required to reach elite-level performance. This study highlights the importance of biomechanical-based technique evaluation to maximize sprint speed while minimizing the risk of injury.

Abstract

The transformation of pedagogical paradigms is a response to the changing times, marked by technological advancements, the demand for 21st-century competencies, and an increasing awareness of the need for more humanistic learning approaches. This study aims to examine the new orientations in pedagogy through a systematic review of 30 national and international scholarly journals published over a ten-year period (2015–2025). The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method is employed to identify key themes such as the shifting role of teachers, technology integration, authentic assessment, project-based learning, and character development. The findings indicate that contemporary pedagogy requires a comprehensive transformation in curriculum design, learning strategies, and assessment systems. Furthermore, learning must be contextualized to remain relevant to both local and global needs, while fostering the development of reflective, adaptive, and competitive students. Thus, the new orientation in pedagogy addresses not only the technical aspects of instruction but also reflects a transformative, inclusive, and sustainable vision of education.

Abstract

The Use of Quizizz in Digital Game-Based Learning in English Lessons for Grade 5 Students at SDN Cipondoh 2 in Tangerang City. This study describes the use of the Quizizz application for Digital Game-Based Learning in fifth-grade English classes at SDN Cipondoh 2, Tangerang City. The research background highlights a problem of low student interest and enthusiasm in learning English due to the use of conventional teaching methods. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the researcher as the key instrument and was conducted at SDN Cipondoh 2, Tangerang City. Data was collected through triangulation techniques, including interviews, observations, and documentation, focusing on extracting meaning from objective conditions in the field. The subject of this study was the fifth-grade English teacher.The results show that using Quizizz as a Digital Game-Based Learning tool successfully created a more interactive, engaging, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The advantage of Quizizz is that it functions not only as an evaluation tool but also as an interactive learning medium. Its ease of access and features allow students to focus on the material. The study also identified a weakness: for students who were slow to understand or master the educational game, the teacher adjusted the method by presenting simplified, easy-to-understand material relevant to daily life and using concrete examples.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students through the use of interactive PowerPoint media in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS), specifically on the topic of “Seeing Because of Light, Hearing Because of Sound” at SDN 2 Kedarpan. The problem underlying this research was the low student achievement, where only 36% of students reached the minimum mastery criteria, while 64% had not achieved it due to teacher-centered learning and limited use of media. To address this issue, a Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted using the Kemmis and McTaggart model consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection, carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 25 students, consisting of 18 boys and 7 girls. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and documentation, while instruments used were observation sheets, pretests, and posttests. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. In the first cycle, only 64% of students achieved mastery, while in the second cycle, more than 80% of students successfully reached the minimum criteria. These findings indicate that interactive PowerPoint media not only helped increase student motivation and participation but also contributed positively to learning outcomes. Therefore, interactive PowerPoint can be considered an effective alternative media to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research develops interactive web-based learning media using Google Sites for the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subject in grade IV elementary schools to support the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Learning needs were identified through observation, interviews, and questionnaires in six elementary schools in Padang. The media was designed with visual displays, audiovisual elements, and interactive quizzes. Expert validation of content, language, and media reached an average of 94% (very valid). Practicality tests in three schools, involving teachers and students, achieved averages of 93.3% and 90.9% (very practical). Effectiveness testing using the N-Gain formula yielded an average score of 0.51 (moderately effective) and increased student mastery from 32–39% to 82–91%. These results confirm that Google Sites–based media effectively enhances students’ understanding and engagement, making it a feasible and innovative alternative for IPAS learning in the Kurikulum Merdeka framework.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Outdoor Learning method in art education for third-grade students at MI Ma’had Al-Zaytun to enhance critical thinking skills. Outdoor Learning integrates the surrounding environment as a contextual learning medium, offering authentic and multisensory experiences. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The participants consisted of two teachers and six third-grade students selected purposively. The findings reveal that Outdoor Learning effectively improves students’ critical thinking skills through activities such as observation, analysis, reflection, discussion, and creative expression in art projects. Beyond cognitive gains, students also benefited socially and emotionally by developing collaboration, communication, and self-confidence. However, several challenges were identified, including unpredictable weather, limited facilities, and classroom management in outdoor settings. Despite these obstacles, supporting factors such as the school’s natural environment, students’ enthusiasm, and teachers’ active facilitation contributed significantly to the success of the method. Overall, the study concludes that Outdoor Learning is a relevant and effective instructional approach in art education to foster 21st-century competencies, particularly critical thinking. Abstract

Motivasi belajar merupakan suatu kekuatan, daya pendorong, dan keinginan yang kuat dalam diri peserta didik untuk belajar secara aktif, kreatif, inovatif, efektif, menyenangkan dalam belajar, baik aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik. Dalam pembelajaran tentunya dibutuhkan sebuah metode pembelajaran yang menarik agar peserta didik tidak merasakan bosan dalam pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran sangat banyak sekali yang bisa dimaanfatkan oleh guru salah satunya yaitu Powtoon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam menggunakan media Powtoon pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Adapun hasil penelitian yang didapatkan bahwa media powtoon bisa memberikan dampak positif untuk motivasi belajar peserta didik ditunjukan dengan motivasi belajar yang tinggi seperti peserta didik memahami materi, mampu menyelesaikan tugasnya, dan menjawab pertanyaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya asesmen pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan teori belajar dan mencakup tiga ranah penilaian, yaitu kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Namun, pada praktiknya asesmen yang digunakan sering kali tidak sesuai dengan teori belajar dan belum mampu mencakup ketiga ranah tersebut. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kebutuhan asesmen melalui pendekatan teori belajar pada kelas IV SDI. Al-Mashduqie. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen angket berbasis skala Guttman (jawaban ya/tidak) dan wawancara guru. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkategorikan hasil angket ke dalam dua kriteria, yaitu tinggi dengan persentase rata-rata ≥50% dan rendah dengan persentase rata-rata <50%, serta memperkuatnya dengan hasil wawancara. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan asesmen pembelajaran berbeda-beda pada tiap teori belajar, tetapi yang paling menonjol adalah teori konstruktivisme. Berdasarkan hasil angket menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 59% responden (kategori tinggi) memberikan jawaban “tidak” pada penerapan teori ini sehingga asesmen teori konstruktivisme menjadi kebutuhan. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh hasil wawancara guru yang menjelaskan bahwa asesmen teori kontruktivisme sudah diterapkan, akan tetapi masih terbatas pada materi tertentu dengan praktik yang sederhana. Padahal melalui penerapan asesmen teori konstruktivisme, guru dapat melakukan penilaian secara menyeluruh mencakup kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif peserta didik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelas IV SDI. Al-Mashduqie memiliki kebutuhan yang signifikan untuk mengoptimalkan asesmen berbasis teori konstruktivisme agar mampu mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi Quizizz Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Yang menjadi jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian Quasi experiment desain nonequivalent control grub dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan yang beralamat Di Jln. Pendidikan, Kec.Percut Sei Tuan, Kab.Deli Serdang. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas XII dan teknik sampel dengan purposive sampling dengan menggunakan 2 kelas yaitu kelas XII-f dan kelas XII-e. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan Lembar test, angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol, yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar. pada kelompok eksperimen diperoleh nilai rata-rata (mean) pretest sebesar 42,91 dan rata-rata posttest sebesar 91,25. Hal ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 48,34 poin setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan aplikasi pembelajaran Quizizz. Uji hipotesis dengan Uji Paired sampel t-test menghasilkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Analisis determinasi juga menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi quizizz dalam pembelajaran berkontribusi sebesar 0,767 atau dalam persentasi yaitu 76,7%, sehingga hal ini termasuk tinggi terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar disebabkan oleh penggunaan Aplikasi Quizizz terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, Keberhasilan ini disebabkan oleh dua proses mekanisme utama dari penerapan aplikasi quizizz yaitu motivasi intrinsik atau dari dalam diri siswa yang berasal dari ketertarikan melalui gamifikasi dan fasilitasi pemahaman mendalam melalui umpan balik instan. Abstract

A safe, comfortable, and enjoyable learning environment is an essential requirement for the achievement of effective learning. Teachers play a role not only as transmitters of knowledge but also as managers of the classroom atmosphere who are able to facilitate students cognitive, social and emotional development. This study aims to describe how teachers create a conducive learning environment in elementary schools, the challenges they face, and the supporting factors that influence their success. This research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The subject of the study was a sixth-grade teacher at SD Negeri 138/IV Kota Jambi. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. To ensure data validity, technique triangulation was applied. The findings reveal that teachers encounter various challenges, including physical constraints (limited classroom space, lack of facilities, power outages), social constraints (differences in student characteristics, peer conflicts), and psychological constraints (students low self-confidence, emotional pressure, and teacher burnout). Nevertheless, teachers implement strategies to overcome these obstacles, such as arraging the classroom more flexibly, fostering positive social interactions, creating a psychologically safe atmosphere, and demonstrating a friendly and open personality. Other supporting factors include the support of the principal, collaboration among teachers, parental involvement, and the utilization of available facilities, infrastructure, and simple technology. This study emphasizes that the creations of a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable learning environment is the result of synergy among teachers, schools, parents, and the surrounding environment. Thus, teachers cannot work alone but require comprehensive systemic support.
