Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce media, analyze the feasibility of using E-LKPD and analyze student responses to TPACK-based E-LKPD on plant parts material. The researcher used the R&D (research and development) research method. This type of research refers to development research. This research will later produce a certain type of product which will then be tested for the effectiveness of the media that has been made (Bulu & Muhsam, n.d.). The feasibility of the TPACK-based chemistry E-LKPD development product on plant material can be seen based on the validation results by media experts and material experts. The results obtained showed scores of 60 and 75 which were in the very valid category and were feasible to be tested. The results of student responses to the TPACK-based science E-LKPD development product using plant parts material which was tested in small groups with 10 students obtained a percentage of 95% with a very feasible category. So it can be stated that the product developed is feasible to be used as a teaching material. The E-LKPD IPAS product based on TPACK plant material produced is declared feasible,

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of constructivism-based learning on the vocabulary understanding of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. The subjects of the study were MI grade IV students who were divided into two groups: an experimental group that applied constructivism-based learning and a control group that used conventional methods. The results showed that there was a significant improvement in the vocabulary understanding of students who were taught with a constructivist approach compared to the control group. This research is expected to contribute to the development of Indonesian learning methods in MI.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tujuan untuk melihat peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah 11 siswa laki-laki dan 16 siswa Perempuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan menggunakan 2 siklus, dengan hasil penelitian keaktifan belajar terjadi peningkatan mulai dari pra siklus sebesar 22,2%, di siklus I 40,7%, dan di siklus II 77,8%. Kemudian, hasil belajar juga terlihat mengalami peningkatan. Pada pra siklus terdapat 8 (29,6%) siswa, pada siklus I terdapat 18 (66,6%) siswa, dan siklus II terdapat 22 (81,4%) siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Kesimpulannya, penerapan model pembelajaran ini dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam belajar dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV juga meningkat.

Abstract

Tujuan penilitian ini dilaksanakan untuk dapat mengetahui bagimana pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran PhET Simulation terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IV dalam materi pecahan senilai di SDN Lalangon 1. Pendekatan kuantitatif yang digunakan dengan desain eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental). Tempat penelitian yaitu kelas IV SDN Lalangon I dimana, populasii dan sampel berjumlah sebanyak 45 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: 22 siswa di kelas eksperimen serta 23 siswa di kelas kontrol. Intrumen pengumpulan data yaitu melalui observasi, tes formatif, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil analisi data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa data yang diigunakan berdistribusi normal serta homogen. Selain itu, nilai t-hitung (8,53) menunjukan hasil yang lebih besar daripada t-tabel (2,00) yang diperoleh dari perhitungan hasil pretest dan posttest, disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan PhET Simulation secara signifikan mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

In the era of technological advancement, the education sector has undergone significant transformation through the integration of information and communication technology (ICT). One manifestation of this integration is the implementation of e-learning, which enables a flexible and interactive learning process. Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) has adopted an e-learning platform called Flexible Learning (Flearn), developed by the Bureau of Technology and Information Systems (BTSI). Flearn offers various features, including access to learning materials, assignment submissions, discussion forums, and the administration of online exams or quizzes, thereby supporting efficient, effective, and engaging learning. The Informatics and Computer Engineering Education (PTIK) Study Program at Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana has specific needs for technology usage in learning methods. PTIK students are required not only to master information technology but also to effectively integrate technology into the learning process. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Flearn application as a learning support tool for PTIK students at Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. The findings of this study are expected to assess the application usage and user satisfaction with Flearn in the learning process. These results are anticipated to serve as a basis for improving the e-learning platform to achieve optimal performance. Thus, this research contributes to supporting the integration of digital technology in enhancing the quality of education in higher education institutions.

Abstract

Anxiety is a natural response to anticipating threats; however, when it becomes persistent, irrational, and intense, it can develop into an anxiety disorder that disrupts daily activities. Anxiety among adolescents, particularly drug addicts like ecstasy users, is a significant concern due to its impact on quality of life, health, interpersonal relationships, education, productivity, and healthcare costs. This study aims to analyze aspects of anxiety in adolescent ecstasy users in Kudus City through a qualitative phenomenological approach, employing observation and interviews, with data analyzed using coding and triangulation. The findings reveal that all three informants exhibited symptoms of anxiety disorders in physical, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional aspects, as well as tendencies toward social anxiety. For example, Informant 1 felt fearful upon hearing a motorbike in front of their house, assuming it was the police. Meanwhile, Informants 2 and 3 withdrew from social interactions, feared meeting new people, and experienced difficulty speaking. All three preferred spending time alone in their rooms.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) find out how the science and science concept is understood by class V students at SDN 63 Singkawang; 2) to describe the differences before and after using the Collaborative Teamwork Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by the Assemblr Edu application in understanding science and science concepts for class V SDN 63 Singkawang; 3) to find out how much influence the use of the Collaborative Teamwork Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by the Assemblr Edu application has on class V students at SDN 63 Singkawang.  The research used was quasi-experimental research with a Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were fifth grade students at SDN 63 Singkawang. The research sample was taken by random sampling, selected by randomly selecting groups that used the CTL learning model and the learning model using PowerPoint and video.   The prerequisite test carried out was a normality test using the Chi-square formula, a variance homogeneity test was carried out to see the similarity of the variants in the two groups and the effect size. The results of the research showed that students' understanding of the science and science concept was categorized as sufficient and high, there was a difference before and after using the Collaborative Teamwork Learning (CTL) learning model assisted by the Assemblr Edu application in the understanding of the science and science concept in class V students at SDN 63 Singkawang of 0.012 < 0, 05, and the magnitude of the influence of using Collaborative Teamwork Learning (CTL) learning assisted by the Assemblr Edu application on fifth grade elementary school students is categorized as sufficient.

Abstract

Abstract: Problem Formulation 1) Is there a significant influence of the Principal's leadership on the performance of teachers in Private MI Warungasem District; 2) Is there a significant influence of school climate on teacher performance in Private MI Warungasem District; 3) Is there a significant influence of work discipline on teacher performance in Private MI Warungasem District; 4) Is there a significant influence of the principal's leadership, school climate, and work discipline on teacher performance in Private MI Warungasem District. This research uses a quantitative approach, located in Private MI in Warungasem sub-district. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires or questionnaires. The data analysis used was using simple correlation analysis and multiple regretion analysis with the help of the SPSS windows program The results of this study show that there is a significant influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance which is stated by the statement Y= 86,187+0.095X_1. with a α < value of 0.50; Correlation Strength is 0.310. With a contribution of 9.6%. There is a significant influence of school climate on teacher performance which is stated by the statement Y = 105.034-0.113X_2 with a value of α = 0.50 correlation force of -0.113 with a contribution of 1.3%. There was a significant influence of teacher discipline on teacher performance which was stated by the statement Y = 84.456 + 0.103X_3. with a value of α = 0.50 the correlation force is 0.291 with a contribution of 9.6%. There is an influence of the principal's leadership, school climate, and teacher work discipline on teacher performance which is stated by the statement Y= 86.785 + 0.089X1 – 0.104X2 + 0.094X3; correlation strength of 0.763. With a contribution of 58.2%. The results of the study show that there is an influence between the principal's leadership, school climate, and teacher work discipline on teacher performance. Therefore, it is recommended that school principals always increase their potential in coaching teachers more openly, in addition to being able to coordinate between school residents so that the school climate is more conducive, and teacher discipline to be reconsidered so that teacher performance can be improved. Abstract

Children aged 0-6 years, the golden age, are in a critical period that establishes the foundation for their physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Early childhood character education plays a significant role in shaping social skills and moral values that will influence children’s future behavior. This study aims to develop a storybook based on character values to improve social skills for kindergarten children, specifically at TK Cahaya Bangsa Utama (Kinderstation), which emphasizes eight personal goals: resilience, communication, collaboration, respect, critical thinking, empathy, adaptability, and ethics. Implementing Researchand Development (R&D) approach which covers a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) a storybook was developed to fill the needs of children to Findings indicated the storybook developed was effective in helping children comprehend moral and social values, as well as in building communication skills and empathy. The book was beneficial not only as a reading material but also as a tool for in-depth discussions within school and family contexts. The implementation of character-based storybooks was expected to contribute positively to the personality and social skill development of kindergarten children, supporting them to become individuals who are not only of good character but also active contributors to society.

Abstract

This research aims to explore learners' creativity through learning the dance and music of Putri Tangguk in primary school. This cultural arts learning is designed to introduce students to traditional arts, particularly regional dance and music, and to develop their creativity in the arts. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with observation, interview, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results showed that Putri Tangguk dance and music learning can increase students' involvement in the learning process and hone their creativity skills. Students are allowed to improvise in dance and musical movements, which will enable them to express their creative ideas. In addition, this learning also plays a role in preserving local culture and introducing traditional values to the younger generation. Nonetheless, its implementation has some constraints, such as limited musical instruments and learning time, which require practical solutions to optimize learning. Overall, this research indicates that Putri Tangguk dance and music learning is an effective method in developing students' creativity and introducing local cultural arts at the primary education level.
