Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of Project Based Learning (PjBL), Case Based Learning (CBL), and learning styles on student learning outcomes. The research methodology used is a quantitative approach involving experiments. The research subjects were students randomly selected from 5 (five) schools spread across 5 (five) areas of Surabaya to take part in the teaching process using the PjBL and CBL models. Students are identified using a questionnaire divided into three main categories: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Research findings show that there is a significant influence of the use of the PjBL and CBL models on student learning outcomes. that the regression model which includes CBL, Learning Style, and PjBL as a whole has a significant influence on Learning Outcomes. This can be seen from the large value of F = 35.762 and Sig. = 0.000, which indicates that this model can explain significant variations in student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, Learning Style does not have a significant influence on student learning outcomes. This is indicated by the p-value = 0.531 (greater than 0.05) and the standard coefficient (Beta) which is very small (0.031). Thus, Learning Style cannot be considered as the main factor influencing student learning outcomes in this model. This study highlights the importance of selecting teaching strategies that align with students' learning styles to maximize performance. The results provide guidance for teachers and students in developing flexible and effective teaching strategies.

Abstract

Writing is one of the essential skills in learning English; however, many students face challenges in organizing ideas coherently, using correct grammar, and maintaining motivation to write. These difficulties often arise from the lack of engaging and relevant teaching strategies. In response to this issue, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of visual-based techniques, namely mind mapping and picture series, in enhancing students' descriptive text writing skills. This research adopted a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. Two groups of students—experimental and control—participated in the study. The experimental group was taught using visual techniques (mind mapping and picture series), while the control group followed conventional methods. Pre-tests and post-tests were conducted to evaluate the students' writing performance before and after the intervention. The findings revealed that the experimental group showed a significant improvement in descriptive writing skills compared to the control group. Specifically, mind mapping helped students systematically organize their ideas, while picture series provided visual stimuli that enhanced creativity and engagement. Statistical analysis demonstrated that both techniques effectively addressed students' writing challenges and boosted their motivation. The study concludes that visual-based teaching techniques are beneficial in improving students' ability to produce well-structured, coherent, and engaging descriptive texts.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan matematika siswa sekolah dasar menjadi perhatian serius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi metode Pratham Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) dalam asesmen awal pembelajaran bilangan dan operasi pada siswa kelas 3 SD Muhammadiyah Jatiyoso. Metode Tarl fokus pada pengajaran yang disesuaikan dengan tingkat pemahaman siswa sehingga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan mamtematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode TaRL mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dalam bilangan dan operasi yang jelas tentang kemampuan awal siswa.

Abstract

Fitur Cash On Delivery (COD) merupakan metode pembayaran dimana pembeli membayar pesanan secara tunai saat barang diterima. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui penyebab penggunaan fitur cod shope meningkatkan minat belanja Masyarakat desa Gerung Selatan . Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif Deskriptif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengguna fitur cash on delivery (cod) pada e-commerce Shopee di desa Gerung Selatan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah penggunaan Shopee digunakan untuk membeli kebutuhan seperti memenuhi kebutuhan prabotan rumah tngga dan pakaian. Faktor penyebab penggunaan Fitur COD Shopee meningkatkan minat belanja adalah dikarena ada 3 diantaranya faktor Terjamin dan Kepercayaan, faktor kemudahan dan faktor Fleksibilitas Pembayaran. Dari ketiga faktor itulah yang menjadikan kunci dari meningkatkan minat belanja masyarakat Desa Gerung Selatan

Abstract

Peran pemimpin tercermin saat seseorang mencoba mempengaruhi perilaku orang lain seperti yang mereka lihat. Dengan kata lain, pimpinan ini menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan mereka untuk mendorong bawahan untuk memastikan bahwa tujuan organisasi tercapai. Selain itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan adalah pola perilaku dan strategi yang disukai untuk memimpin suatu organisasi. Penelitian ini adalah ulasan literatur, atau studi pustaka, yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi teori dan data empirik yang ada dan membuat ide baru berdasarkan hasilnya (Palmatier, Houston, & Hulland, 2018). Gaya kepemimpinan laissez-faire memberikan tim Anda kesempatan untuk turun tangan langsung dan belajar seiring berjalannya waktu karena memungkinkan anggota tim untuk lebih bebas, produktif, dan percaya diri untuk tetap memegang kendali atas pekerjaan mereka sendiri. Akan tetapi Kepemimpinan laissez-faire bergantung pada kemampuan setiap anggota tim, sehingga tidak efektif dalam situasi di mana anggota tim tidak memiliki pengetahuan atau pengalaman yang diperlukan untuk membuat keputusan dan menyelesaikan tugas. Hal ini dapat menurunkan kinerja pekerjaan. Gaya kepemimpinan ini memiliki manfaat dan resikonya sendiri. Karena kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh setiap anggota kelompok, kondisi dan situasi tertentu diperlukan untuk penerapan gaya kepemimpinan laissez-faire yang efektif.

Abstract

This ex post facto research aims to determine the effect of gadget usage (X_1) and learning discipline (X_2) on mathematics learning outcomes (Y) for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Samarinda for the 2023/2024 academic year. In this study there are two independents variable, namely gadget usage and learning discipline and one dependent variable, namely students' mathematics learning outcomes. The population of this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Samarinda for the 2023/2024 academic year. Sampling using cluster random sampling technique and the sample used was 186 students. The instruments used include questionnaires on gadget usage and learning discipline as well as tests on mathematics learning outcomes. Data analysis in this study is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, namely multiple linear regression analysis with a significance level of 5%. The descriptive analysis show that the average gadget usage in the medium category and the average learning discipline is in the medium category and the mathematics learning outcomes are in the low category. The results of inferential analysis using multiple linear regression analysis showed that the F test value showed a significance value of F (0.000), so rejecting H_0 meant that there was an effect of the use of gadgets and learning discipline on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The results of the analysis using the t test show that the significance value for the regression coefficient (gadget use) and significance value (learning discipline) is less than , namely 0,026<0,05 and 0,008<0,05, so reject H_0 means that the gadget use variable has an effect on mathematics learning outcomes students and learning discipline influence students' mathematics learning outcomes. So, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of gadgets and learning discipline on the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 4 Samarinda for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying augmented reality media using the ARGEO Learning application on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students of SMP Negeri 7 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is an experimental study. The sample of this study was class IX B as the experimental class and IX D as the control class selected using the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a mathematics learning outcome test. The experimental class was given treatment by applying augmented reality media using the ARGEO Learning application. While the control class used manipulative object props as learning media. The data analysis used in this study was the t-test (independent sample t-test) polled variance. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was higher than the average value of the control class where ≥ , then was accepted which means there was a difference in the average learning outcomes between students in the experimental class and students in the control class. From these differences, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the application of augmented reality media using the ARGEO Learning application on the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students of SMPN 7 Mataram in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

The systems approach in Islamic education management is a holistic frameworkdesigned to optimize educational components in an integrated manner to achieveIslamic educational goals. This study addresses the lack of understanding of thesystems approach, challenges in its implementation, and the need forcomprehensive evaluation in Islamic education management. The objective is todescribe the concept of the systems approach, the interaction among itscomponents, and the challenges and solutions for its application. The researchmethodology is descriptive qualitative, utilizing theoretical analysis of relevantliterature, including primary sources such as the Qur'an, Sunnah, and ijma’ ulama.The findings reveal that the systems approach effectively integrates curriculum,educators, students, infrastructure, and community support in managing education.Key challenges identified include resistance to change, resource limitations, andinconsistent performance measurement. Proposed solutions include training,integrated management systems, and the development of performance indicators.The study concludes that the systems approach can enhance the quality of Islamiceducation by fostering synergy among components and promoting Islamic values,ultimately producing academically excellent and morally upright generations.

Abstract

There is often a gap between public and private teachers. Many factors influence and lead to their professionalism as teachers. Professional teachers are needed to improve the quality of education in schools. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher welfare on teacher professionalism, the effect of work motivation on teacher professionalism, and to determine the effect of welfare and work motivation on teacher professionalism in private vocational schools in Bojonegoro district. This research is a quantitative research type with a research sample of 166 private vocational school teachers in Bojonegoro sub-district. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of teacher welfare on teacher professionalism (regression equation Y = 60.087 + 0.312X1, r = 0.561 and contribution of 31.5%); there was an influence of work motivation on teacher professionalism (regression equation Y = 45.625 + 0.827X2, r = 0.639 with contribution of 40.8%.; and there was an influence of teacher welfare, and work motivation on teacher professionalism equation Y = 10.751 + 0.114X1 + 0.377X2, r = 0.689 and contribution of 47.5%). The results of this study provide recommendations to related parties to develop a program for mentoring private teacher professionalism in order to meet the target goals of developing educators and education personnel. Teacher professionalism mentoring will look at factors that increase teacher capacity as professional teachers who have relatively the same opportunities for improving welfare and motivation.

Abstract

This study on mathematics learning in the topic of length measurement using Nusantara batik as a medium aims to analyze the use of Nusantara batik in teaching length measurement in third-grade elementary school and to explore students' responses to this medium. This research employed a qualitative approach conducted at SDN 04 Karangsari, involving 12 female students and 10 male students. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation by combining data from observations, interviews, and documentation to ensure consistency of results. The data analysis technique used was the Miles and Huberman model, which consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the use of Nusantara batik in teaching length measurement not only enhances students' understanding of mathematical concepts but also enriches their learning experience by connecting the subject matter to local culture. Students showed high interest and motivation when learning with batik motifs, as they could see a direct relationship between mathematical concepts and daily life. Furthermore, students were able to better understand measurement concepts through analyzing patterns and designs in batik, which involve comprehension of geometry, transformation, and symmetry.
