Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in the osteoporosis risk group's increase in ALP levels and total serum calcium. This type of research is an observational analytic using a cross-sectional design. The results showed that the ANOVA repeated measures (Bonferroni) test results for ALP levels obtained a P-value > 0.05, and the total serum calcium level examination received ANOVA test results with a P-value > 0.05. In conclusion, ALP levels and total calcium are not associated with osteoporosis risk groups such as age, sex, steroid use, and smoking habits. This study aims to determine the relationship between patient knowledge about the treatment of contact dermatitis and the incidence of infectious dermatitis in Class II B Correctional Institutions in the Majalengka Regency in 2022. The research method is an analytical descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The results showed that 53 patients (46.5%) in Class II B Penitentiary in Majalengka Regency were included in the criteria of having less knowledge, and 61 people (53.5%) had good knowledge. Fifty-one people (44.7%) were exposed to infectious dermatitis, and 63 (55.3%) were unaffected. In conclusion, there is a statistically significant relationship between patient knowledge about wound care in contact dermatitis and the incidence of infectious dermatitis in Class II B Correctional Institutions in the Majalengka Regency in 2022. Abstract

This study aims to determine how implementing nursing rounds affects patient satisfaction. The method used is a literature review using an identified electronic database from Pubmed, EBSCOhost, and Google Scholar. Search using keywords, namely nurse, Nursing rounds, hourly rounds, and patient satisfaction. The search results included seven articles filtered from 2020 – 2022, which resulted in nursing rounds increasing patient satisfaction, patient safety, and preventing extravasation of infusion fluids. Nursing rounds can also be carried out with other professions. As a result, nursing rounds carried out by nurses in a measurable and planned manner can increase patient satisfaction. In conclusion, nurses can increase patient satisfaction while hospitalized by implementing nursing bands carried out regularly and structured for their managed patients. Besides that, the benefits of nursing rounds can also increase patient satisfaction and prevent the extravasation of infusion fluids. Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of spiritual nursing in Bali. The research method used is quantitative observational research with a cross-sectional approach. The research results on the fulfillment of spiritual needs by nurses in Bali are primarily in the medium category of 50%. At the same time, 32.5% are in the high class. Only 17.5% are in a common type. The fulfillment of spiritual needs by nurses in Bali is mainly in the medium and high categories. Only a tiny proportion of spiritual realization is in a low type. Caring has been embedded in nursing care, which is a form of implementing the spiritual dimension. In conclusion, the nurse's activity in implementing the concept of caring is an indirect part of spiritual care. A holistic and humanist approach is a strategy that needs to be instilled as part of professional nursing care. The aspect of spirituality is an essential dimension for providing excellent care in the era of disruption. Keywords: Tourism Health, Spiritual Nursing

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of pursed-lip breathing (PLB) exercises on increasing the highest flow achieved by maximal expiration peak expiratory flow (APE) in COPD patients at Jakarta Islamic Hospital Cempaka Putih based on the latest research results (evidence-based Nursing Practice). This study uses a quantitative method with a type of quantitative experimental research with a quasi-experimental approach. The results showed that the results of APE measurements before and after PLB breathing exercises to male COPD sufferers at the Jakarta Islamic Hospital showed that, in general, the effects of APE before and after PLB breathing exercises on Day-1 were 278.3 liters or minutes and general after PLB Day-1 breathing exercise was 290.0 greater. From the results of the T-Test experiment, it can be interpreted that there is a significant comparison between APE before and after PLB with the number P = 0.000 or statistically in general APE before and after PLB is smaller than in general in male respondents by (290.0– 278.3 =11.7). In conclusion, age is related to the increased value of pulmonary ventilation function in COPD patients. Age may explain the increased peak expiratory pulmonary flow in COPD patients. Thus there is a significant relationship between age and an increase in the height expiratory flow (APE) value of COPD patients after receiving pursed-lips breathing intervention. Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of Posbindu participants and the incidence of non-communicable diseases. The research method used in this research is descriptive observational. The results showed that most (58%) found high blood pressure/hypertension, the majority (97.3%) found no high or regular blood sugar, on examination of uric acid, some (57.3%) found no high or normal uric acid as much Of the 63 people for cholesterol examination, the majority (85.5%) found normal cholesterol levels as many as 94 people. In conclusion, there is no significant relationship between gender and the incidence of hypertension, diabetes, gout, and high cholesterol. However, the analysis results show that women are more at risk for developing non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, gout, and high cholesterol. The characteristics of respondents based on gender are primarily male, namely as many as 15 respondents with a ratio of (68.15%). The features of respondents based on nutritional status were divided into three categories, including undernutrition which amounted to 3 respondents with a percentage (13.65%). Normal nutrition amounted to 12 respondents with a rate (of 54.55%), and excess food amounted to 7 respondents with a percentage (of 31.85 %). In conclusion, the description of the characteristics of children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia undergoing chemotherapy is that the majority are school-age children (6-12 years), male, and in average (reasonable) nutritional status. Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of the parenting style given to toddlers to prevent stunting. This research method uses narrative review by searching articles using electronic databases, namely EbscoHost, ResearchGate, and CambrigdeCore. The results of this study in the literature review found that the four types of parenting (authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, not involved) have a close relationship with the incidence of stunting. Three parenting styles have an impact that prevents stunting, but two of them are accompanied by adverse effects that support stunting. In contrast, the other parenting style is a parenting style that altogether causes stunting. In conclusion, the parenting style best applied to toddlers in the context of stunting prevention is mixed. Still, authoritative parenting is the most recommended parenting style compared to the other three parenting types. Keywords: Baduta, Prevention, Parenting, Stunting
