Abstract

Mas Kirana banana (Musa acumunata L.) is a superior variety that has been inaugurated by the Ministry of Agriculture so it has great potential for cultivation. One of the successes of banana cultivation is sufficient irrigation. Drip irrigation is a watering method of choice that aims to utilize the very limited water availability efficiently. Banana plant water requirements can be calculated using the Cropwat 8.0 model. This research aims to determine the effect of drip irrigation scheduling calculated by Cropwat 8.0 at various time intervals on the growth of Mas Kirana banana (Musa acumunata L.) seedlings. This research used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with one factor, namely interval (I), which consisted of 3 levels, including I1 (1 day, 1 watering at 09.00 WIB), I2 (1 day, 2 waterings at 09.00 WIB and 16.00 WIB), and I3 (1 day 3 times watering (at 09.00 WIB, 13.00 WIB, and 16.00 WIB). The treatment was repeated 4 times. The parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (cm), and leaf greenness (SPAD). The results showed that scheduling drip irrigation with the amount of water needed from Cropwat 8.0 at a time interval of 2 times a day (I2) had the best effect on the height parameters of five-month-old Mas Kirana banana seedlings. The I2 treatment also tends to give higher average values for the parameters number of leaves, stem diameter, and leaf greenness (SPAD). Keywords: Banana var. Salah satu keberhasilan budidaya pisang adalah pengairan yang cukup. Irigasi tetes menjadi pilihan metode pengairan yang bertujuan memanfaatkan ketersedian air yang sangat terbatas secara efisien. Kebutuhan air tanaman pisang dapat dihitung dengan menggunakan model Cropwat 8.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penjadwalan irigasi tetes hasil perhitungan Cropwat 8.0 pada berbagai interval waktu terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman pisang Mas Kirana (Musa acumunata L.). Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktor yaitu interval (I) yang terdiri dari 3 taraf antara lain I1 (1 hari 1 kali penyiraman pukul 09.00 WIB), I2 (1 hari 2 kali penyiraman pukul 09.00 WIB dan 16.00 WIB), dan I3 (1 hari 3 kali penyiraman (pukul 09.00 WIB, 13.00 WIB, dan 16.00 WIB). Perlakuan diulangi sebanyak 4 kali. Parameter yang diamati adalah, tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), diameter batang (cm), dan kehijauan daun (SPAD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penjadwalan irigasi tetes dengan jumlah kebutuhan air hasil Cropwat 8.0 pada interval waktu 2 kali sehari (I2) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman bibit pisang Mas Kirana berumur lima bulan. Perlakuan I2 juga memberikan nilai rata-rata cenderung lebih tinggi pada parameter jumlah daun, diameter batang, dan kehijauan daun (SPAD). Kata kunci: Cropwat 8.0, Irigasi tetes, Pisang Mas Kirana

Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum) Var. Sanren F1 is one of the vegetable commodities that has become a national flagship in addition to red chili and potatoes. Shallots are a strategic commodity because they are needed by most Indonesians in their daily lives. This research was carried out in Minta Kasih Village, salapian District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province with an altitude of + 50 meters above sea level, with the aim of research to determine the effect of the use of organic liquid fertilizer in increasing the growth and production of shallots of the Sanren F1 variety. The study used a Non-Factor Group Randomized Design (RAK) consisting of 4 treatment levels (C0= 0 ml/liter water/m2, C1=225 ml/liter water/m2, C2=425 ml/liter water/m2, C3=625 ml/liter water/m2) with 3 repeats, so that there were 12 experimental units consisting of 8 sample plants, so that the total observation of the entire plant there were 96 experimental units with parameters consisting of plant height,  number of leaves, production of wet tubers, production of dry tubers, conversion of production per hectare. The role of organic liquid fertilizer has a very real effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, dry tubers production and conversion of production per hectare with the best treatment at C3. C3 treatment can be improved again in further research to obtain maximum growth and production in shallots. Key-words: Liquid Fertilizer, Shallot, Organic INTISARI Bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum) Var. sanren F1 merupakan salah satu komoditi sayuran yang menjadi unggulan nasional selain cabai merah dan kentang. Bawang  merah merupakan komoditas strategis karena dibutuhkan sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Minta kasih Kecamatan Salapian Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian tempat + 50 meter diatas permukaan laut, dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pupuk cair organik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah varietas Sanren F1. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak kelompok (RAK) Non Faktor terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan (C0= 0 ml/liter air/m2, C1=225 ml/liter air/m2, C2=425 ml/liter air/m2, C3=625 ml/liter air/m2) dengan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 12 satuan percobaan yang terdiri dari 8 tanaman sampel, sehingga total pengamatan keseluruhan tanaman ada 96 unit percobaan dengan parameter terdiri dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi, produksi umbi kering, konversi produksi per hektar. Peranan pupuk cair organik berpengaruh sangat nyata pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, Jumlah Umbi, produksi umbi kering dan konversi produksi perhektar dengan perlakuan terbaik pada C3. Perlakuan C3 dapat ditingkatkan lagi pada penelitian lanjutan untuk mendapatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi maksimal pada bawang merah. Kata kunci : Pupuk Cair, Bawang Merah, Organik

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the importance of cocoa plant farming in Banjarharjo Village, Kalibawang District, Kulon Progo Regency. The study was conducted for one month, from November to December 2022, using the Non Probably Sampling technique, where all cocoa farmer populations were sampled because the population was less than 30 people. Data was collected through three stages, namely observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Likert scale to measure the level of farmer response to cocoa farming. The results showed that based on a number of measured indicators, the quality of cocoa farming in Banjarharjo Village can be considered high. For example, "Availability of cocoa seeds" has a value of 3.30, which falls into the category of "Very high." The average value of the overall indicator is 2.97, which also falls into the category "High." This result provides a positive picture of the level of achievement and quality of cocoa farming in Banjarharjo Village. The results of this study can provide guidance for stakeholders, such as farmers, local governments, and related institutions, to support and develop cocoa farming in the region to improve farmers' welfare and the contribution of the agricultural sector to the local economy.  Keywords: cocoa farming, evaluation, Likert scale, farmer response INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pentingnya usahatani tanaman kakao di Desa Banjarharjo, Kecamatan Kalibawang, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Penelitian dilakukan selama satu bulan, dari November hingga Desember 2022, dengan menggunakan teknik Non Probably Sampling, di sini semua populasi petani kakao dijadikan sampel karena populasi tidak lebih dari 30 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan skala likert untuk mengukur tingkat respon petani terhadap usahatani kakao. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan sejumlah indikator yang diukur, kualitas usahatani kakao di Desa Banjarharjo dapat dianggap tinggi. Contohnya, "Ketersediaan bibit kakao" memiliki nilai 3,30, yang termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat tinggi." Rata-rata nilai indikator keseluruhan adalah 2,97, yang juga masuk dalam kategori "Tinggi." Hasil ini memberikan gambaran positif tentang tingkat pencapaian dan kualitas usahatani kakao di Dususn Salakmalang Desa Banjarharjo. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan panduan bagi para pemangku kepentingan, seperti petani, pemerintah daerah, dan lembaga terkait, untuk mendukung dan mengembangkan usahatani kakao di wilayah ini demi meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani dan kontribusi sektor pertanian pada ekonomi lokal. Kata Kunci : Usahatani kakao, evaluasi, skala likert, respon petani.

Abstract

Biosecurity is something that greatly influences livestock production, especially in reducing the risk and consequences of the introduction of infectious diseases. Therefore, the implementation of biosecurity must be implemented well so that livestock are not easily affected by disease and can produce with good economic efficiency and achieve target production. The aim of this research is to determine the level of biosecurity implementation in layer chickens farms in East Banggae District. This research was carried out in East Banggae District, Majene Regency from August to October 2022 . This type of research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The sample used in this research was 17 breeders. This research instrument uses a questionnaire whose contents are structured questions/statements, closed answer options using a measurement scale, namely the Guttman scale. The implementation of biosecurity observed in this research is isolation, sanitation and traffic control.  Data analysis in this research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that the application of biosecurity is isolation with a percentage of 75%, sanitation with a percentage of 68.4%, and traffic control with a percentage of 22.2%. Keywords: Biosecurity, East Banggae, Layer Chickens, Majene

Abstract

Currently, farmers prefer to use inorganic fertilizer because it is more significant in increasing yields, but continuous use can result in a decrease in land quality, so efforts that can be made to reduce the use of inorganic fertilizer are by combining it with planting media such as agronika. Planting media agronika is a combination of cow dung, coconut shell charcoal and rice husks. The objectives of this research include: (1) Knowing the effect of giving planting media on the growth and production of sweet corn. (2) Knowing the effect of giving NPK on the growth and production of sweet corn. (3) Knowing the interaction between giving planting media and NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of sweet corn. This research method uses a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with two factors, namely: planting media and NPK, with 3 replications. The results of this research are: (1) The provision of planting media shows a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, stover weight and cob length. (2) Giving NPK has a significant effect on the stem diameter variable and sweet corn production results. (3) The administration of planting media and NPK showed an interaction on the sweet corn cob weight variable. Keywords: NPK, Planting media, Sweet corn. INTISARISaat ini petani lebih memilih menggunakan pupuk anorganik karena lebih signifikan dalam meningkatkan hasil, namun penggunaan yang terus menerus dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas lahan, sehingga upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi penggunaan pupuk anorganik adalah dengan memadukannya dengan media tanam seperti pupuk anorganik. sebagai agronik. Media tanam agronika merupakan kombinasi kotoran sapi, arang tempurung kelapa dan sekam padi. Tujuan penelitian ini antara lain: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung manis. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh pemberian NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung manis. (3) Mengetahui interaksi pemberian media tanam dan pupuk NPK terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung manis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan dua faktor yaitu: media tanam dan NPK, dengan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) Pemberian media tanam memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter batang, berat brangkasan dan panjang tongkol. (2) Pemberian NPK berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel diameter batang dan hasil produksi jagung manis. (3) Pemberian media tanam dan NPK menunjukkan adanya interaksi terhadap variabel berat tongkol jagung manis. Kata Kunci : NPK, Media Tanam, Jagung Manis

Abstract

The success of a program in farming activities can be seen from its performance. The Corporate Farming (CF) program is a government program that aims to overcome reduced rice productivity, farming inefficiency, decreasing land area, and labor difficulties in the agricultural sector. This program is run by the Barokah Farmers Group with a three-year contract from 2016 to 2019. This research aims to describe the success of the CF program in the Barokah Farmers Group seen from the performance of each measuring variable. This research was carried out using purposive sampling by censusing 51 owner-cultivator farmers, and members of the Barokah Farmers Group who had implemented the CF program. The statements used in this research were tested using validity and reliability tests. Research data was analyzed using score intervals. The performance of the Corporate Farming program in the Tani Barokah group at that time was 63.51 percent, including in the medium category. Therefore, the CF program carried out by the Barokah Farmers Group can be said to have been quite successful. Key-words: Corporate farming, Performance, Score interval. INTISARI       Keberhasilan suatu program dalam kegiatan usaha tani dapat dilihat dari kinerjanya. Program Corporate Farming (CF) merupakan salah satu progam pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk mengatasi berkurangnya produktivitas padi, inefisiensi usahatani, dan menurunnya luas lahan serta sulitnya tenaga kerja di bidang pertanian. Program ini dijalankan oleh Kelompok Tani Barokah dengan kontrak waktu selama tiga tahun dari tahun 2016 s/d 2019. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan keberhasilan program CF pada Kelompok Tani Barokah dilihat dari kinerja masing–masing variabel pengukurnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan mensensus 51 petani pemilik-penggarap anggota dari Kelompok Tani Barokah yang telah menerapkan program CF. Pernyataan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diuji dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan interval skor. Kinerja program Corporate Farming pada kelompok Tani Barokah pada saat itu sebesar 63,51 persen termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Oleh sebab itu Program CF yang dilakukan oleh Kelompok tani Barokah ini dapat dikatakan sudah cukup berhasil.  Kata kunci: Corporate farming, Interval skor, Kinerja

Abstract

Citronella is a group of grass plants or the Poaceae family which is one of the producers of essential oil, namely citronella oil. Citronella oil has begun to be produced and marketed in Labuhanbatu Regency, Sidorukun Village, Pangkatan District. However, the citronella oil marketed is not yet optimal due to several factors that are obstacles. The objectives of studying the marketing strategy for citronella oil are to determine the internal and external factors in marketing citronella oil to determine the marketing strategy for citronella oil. The research methodology uses the SWOT analysis method where the analysis is presented as a marketing strategy for citronella oil, namely solving an environmental analysis by identifying existing strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The results of research with calculations using SWOT diagram analysis of the marketing of serei wangi oil are in the marketing strategy for serei wangi oil in Pangkatan District, namely establishing cooperation with the government to improve marketing. This strategy received the highest score, namely 7.02, by carrying out buying and selling transactions of serei wangi oil online. directly without intermediaries. This strategy can be implemented. This strategy gets the highest score, namely 6.74 and develops infrastructure and supporting facilities for the citronella oil agro-industry. Abstract

Alocasia baginda is an endemic Alocasia of Kalimantan that has the potential to be developed into a superior ornamental plant. Plant propagation from rhizome cutting is constrained by dormancy, so it needs to be overcome by the use of growing media and GA3. The aims of this research was to obtain the appropriate composition of growing media and GA3 concentration for the growth of Alocasia baginda from a rhizome. The research was conducted at the Paranet House, North Pontianak District, Pontianak City, from November 2022 - April 2023. This research used a split-plot design in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 factors. The first factor is the composition of the growing media mixture of charcoal husk, bamboo leaf humus, and malang sand as the main plot with 3 levels. The second factor is the concentration of GA3 as a subplot with 3 levels, from these two factors, 9 treatment combinations were obtained and was repeated 3 times. The result showed The composition of the husk charcoal planting media: bamboo leaf humus: poor sand (2: 1: 1) is a suitable planting media composition for the growth of Alocasia baginda from rhizome, because it is able to accelerate the time of emergence of shoots and produce more roots. GA3 concentration of 5 ppm produced the fastest time of bud emergence, the highest number of buds and leaves, as well as a greater number of roots. The interaction between the composition of growing media 3:1:1 and GA3 concentration of 5 ppm produced the highest number of leaves. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh komposisi media tanam dan konsentrasi GA3 yang sesuai untuk pertumbuhan Alocasia baginda dari rimpang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Rumah Paranet Kecamatan Pontianak Utara Kota Pontianak pada bulan November 2022 – April 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan petak terpisah dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah komposisi media tanam campuran arang sekam, humus daun bambu, dan pasir malang sebagai petak utama dengan 3 taraf. Faktor kedua adalah konsentrasi GA3 sebagai anak petak dengan 3 taraf, dari kedua faktor tersebut diperoleh 9 kombinasi perlakuan dan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Komposisi media tanam arang sekam : humus daun bambu : pasir malang (2:1:1) merupakan komposisi media tanam yang cocok untuk pertumbuhan Alocasia baginda dari rimpang, karena mampu mempercepat waktu kemunculannya. tunas dan menghasilkan lebih banyak akar. Konsentrasi GA3 sebesar 5 ppm menghasilkan waktu munculnya tunas tercepat, jumlah tunas dan daun terbanyak, serta jumlah akar lebih banyak. Interaksi antara komposisi media tanam 3:1:1 dan konsentrasi GA3 5 ppm menghasilkan jumlah daun terbanyak. Kata Kunci: Komposisi Media Tumbuh, Konsentrasi GA3, Alocasia baginda

Abstract

Indonesian cattle farming has the potential to support national food security. Beef produced domestically comes from people's farms, using a household-scale rearing system with various ownership strata. Cattle farming management needs to be studied further so that it can survive and increase production and produce quality beef cattle. The aim of this research is to select important attributes in formulating a strategy for developing and improving cattle farming by analyzing system requirements, use case diagrams and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). System analysis in research using the BPMN business flow diagram shows that the important important variables are the calculation of tillers and feed mixing with a support value of 0.500 with a ratio of 1.714. It is hoped that this research can describe the design and model for developing the productivity of smallholder cattle farming based on existing environmental conditionsKeywords: ARM, BPMN, Relief, Rural AreaINTISARI           Peternakan sapi Indonesia berpotensi mendukung ketahanan pangan nasional. Daging sapi yang diproduksi di dalam negeri berasal dari peternakan rakyat, menggunakan sistem pemeliharaan skala rumah tangga dengan strata kepemilikan beragam. Pengelolaan peternakan sapi perlu dikaji lebih lanjut agar dapat bertahan dan dapat meningkatkan produksi serta menghasilkan sapi potong yang berkualitas. Tujuan dari penelitian  ini adalah untuk memilih atribut-atribut penting dalam merumuskan strategi pengembangan dan peningkatan peternakan sapi dengan menganalisis kebutuhan sistem, use case diagram dan Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Analisis sistem pada penelitian  mengunakan  diagram alur bisnis BPMN menunjukkan bahwa variabel peting yang berpengaruh  adalah perhitungan anakan dan pencampuran pakan dengan  nilai dukung sebesar 0,500 dengan rasio sebesar 1,714. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menggambarkan desain dan model  pengembangan produktivitas peternakan sapi rakyat berdasarkan kondisi lingkungan yang ada. Kata Kunci : ARM, BPMN, Relief, Peternakan Rakyat

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of stolon pruning and the application of growth regulators on the growth and production of strawberry plants (Fragaria chiloensis L.). This research was located in Barus Jahe Village, Barus Jahe District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, with an altitude of 1,367 meters above sea level from March 2023 to May 2023. This research used a split plot design (RPT) consisting of a main plot; Stolon pruning consists of 4 levels, namely P0 = pruning all stolons, P1 = pruning 1 remaining stolon, P2 = pruning 2 remaining stolons, P3 = without pruning stolons. Subplot; The concentration of growth regulators consists of 4 levels, namely; K0 = Without giving ZPT, K1 = 1 cc/L water, K2 = 3 cc/L water, K3 = 5 cc/L water. The research results show that stolon pruning has a significant effect on the number of fruits per plant. The concentration of growth regulators had no significant effect on the number of fruits per plantKeywords: Stolon, (ZPT) growth regulator, strawberries.INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh pemangkasan stolon dan aplikasi zat pengatur tumbuh terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman stroberi (Fragaria chiloensis L.). Penelitian ini berlokasi di di Desa Barus jahe, Kecamatan Barus jahe, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatera Utara,  dengan ketinggian tempat 1.367 meter dpl pada bulan Maret 2023 sampai dengan Mei 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan petak terpisah (RPT) yang terdiri dari petak utama;  Pemangkasan Stolon terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu P0 = Pemangkasan seluruh stolon,  P1= Pemangkasan stolon sisa 1 P2 = Pemangkasan stolon sisa 2,  P3 = Tanpa pemangkasan stolon. Anak petak; Konsentrasi Zat Pengatur Tumbuh terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu; K0 = Tanpa pemberian ZPT, K1= 1 cc/L air, K2 = 3 cc/L air, K3 = 5 cc/L air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pemangkasan stolon  berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman. Konsentrasi zat pengatur tumbuh berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman. Keywords: Stolon, Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT), stroberi.
