Abstract

Public servants contribute in terms of community service. One form of public service program is the Voluntary Disclosure Program (VDP). VDP activities are also carried out on the KP2KP. The implementation of PPS will be carried out between January 1, 2022 and June 30, 2022. During the implementation of the VDP, the number of communities involved was far from the desired number. In this study, measurements were made of service quality in VDP activities at KP2KP XYZ. The number of respondents who were the objects of observation was 150, of which all were the total VDP participants. The results of the questionnaire were then processed using the SERQUAL-HOQ method. Test results related to perception and expectation showed valid (r count > r table) and reliable (cronbach α > 0.6) results. The highest gap between perception and expectation is the accuracy of time in service, with a value of up to 0.3. The results of the HoQ analysis formed 18 attributes from VoC. The development of VoC attributes formed five criteria from technical response. The highest absolute importance value of the technical response is in the timeliness of service, with a value of 135.43.

Abstract

Facility layout is a procedure for establishing factory facilities to support the smooth running of a production process. CV. ABC is an automotive manufacturing industry that produces cutting steel pipe products, part of motorcycle spare parts. This study aims to design a new facility layout for the production of cutting steel pipe products to minimize the distance of material movement and the moment of movement, as well as the company's desire to increase production targets by adjusting machine requirements. In designing the layout of this proposed facility using the BLOCPLAN algorithm software. Based on the calculation of machine requirements the measurement process lacks 1 person, the cutting process in the automatic machine section lacks 2 machines, while for the Manual machine section lacks 1 machine. The Manual cutting process, there is a shortage of 1 machine. A quality control and packing on automatic machines require 1 person and 3 people. Meanwhile, packing in the Manual machine section requires as many as 2 people. Material transfer distance between departments is calculated using the rectilinear method. The moment of material movement is calculated by multiplying the displacement distance by the frequency. The total distance of material movement in the existing layout results in 148.2 meters with a displacement moment of 18981.3 meters per month. Meanwhile, the redesign using the BLOCPLAN algorithm software resulted in a total material transfer distance of 110.88 meters with a displacement moment of 15621.21 meters per month.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a national-scale company located in Jakarta, Indonesia, providing logistics services such as warehousing for export consolidation. The warehouse activities are not considered optimal because many processes do not run according to the system. Hence, there are failures in several activities, which would reduce customer satisfaction. One of the reasons is that no risk management system has been applied in the company yet. This study conducts a company risk analysis and proposes recommendations for the identified critical risks using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). The risk priority number calculation result shows five critical risks: inbound control, inventory control, outbound control, supplier relation and warehouse operational process. Several recommendations are also formulated to reduce critical risks.

Abstract

PT ABCD is a company engaged in ship classification by means of testing or inspection, one of the inspections carried out is the Destructive Test (DT) where testing is carried out by applying pressure to the material using a milling machine, with a maximum limit value output. and minimum on the samples that have been tested. In the testing process, there are interactions that occur between humans and machines and each activity will tend to experience errors in the form of system errors or human errors. Therefore, conditions caused by human error must be minimized by making repairs so that work accidents and errors do not occur, because this will cause losses for the operator and the company later. The method used in this study is the SHERPA and HEART methods. The purpose of using the SHERPA method is to reduce errors and provide specific solutions from the analysis of the data that has been collected. Human Errors that occur are carried out on the awareness of machine operators, this is due to operators who work in a hurry and lack of time. The solution to overcome the Human Error that occurs is that there must be firmness from the Operation Manager and the Head of the Coordinator of the Destructive Test Laboratory (DT), such as re-checking the results of the operator's work, then before working it is expected to conduct briefing first to always remind to work according to applicable procedures, and lastly provide OHS training to all operators to better understand and realize the importance of implementing OHS in every work activity.

Abstract

Consumers want services that can bring their own satisfaction, so that consumers return to using these services. Basically the consumer satisfaction in the quality of service, service satisfaction is used to make a service system optimal and effective. The problem of waste in service at PT Honda KJM (Ahmad Yani Branch) is found in the long waiting time for the service process from 10.00 to 11.35 in the afternoon and motorbike maintenance which depends on the level of difficulty, with lean service the service will be better than before, and will add to the profit for the service company. Lean Service by definition are methods and equipment designed to reduce costs, improve performance, reduce waiting times, eliminate waste, so that service quality can be maximized. Where lean service is used for a service approach that ensures information that can be conveyed to consumers directly and maximally in getting service. The principle of lean service has been commonly used in the manufacturing industry, but over time, the service industry has begun to adapt this principle to reduce waste in service companies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in paper mill productivity with the ETAP 12.6 simulation method. The progress of the company as a business organization has increased activity, increased performance and increased productivity in the electrical system at PT Dayasa Aria Prima to take strategic steps in minimizing expenditure costs on the electrical system and developing an electrical system based on ETAP 12.6 analysis and simulation at PT Dayasa Aria Prima. Changes in the value of the power factor will have an impact on decreasing the value of cos φ. Based on the analysis and simulation of ETAP 12.6 it is known that the power factor of PT. Dayasa Aria Prima is around 0.70% where the company has to pay a fine to PLN. To eliminate or eliminate fines, an increase is made to meet the standard requirements for power factor which must be more than 0.85%. Installing a capacitor bank with a power factor is an effective and efficient way to increase productivity so that companies can control and measure the productivity and cost efficiency of the company

Abstract

The growing development of information technology makes information technology a very important resource for government and private organizations. The same applies to the university environment in student services. Amikom Purwokerto University is one of the many tertiary institutions that has implemented a web-based academic information system, including in one of its study programs, namely Information Systems. Based on interviews conducted by researchers with one of the lecturers in the Information Systems Study Program at Amikom University, Purwokerto, several problems were identified, such as the lack of regular updating of data and information on the website, the appearance of the website which was less attractive, and the lack of available content. Then, so that the company can be ready to compete with other similar websites, it is necessary to analyze the quality of the website, one of which is using the WebQual 4.0 method which is then assessed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires with 3 WebQual 4.0 variables based on the level of performance and the level of user expectations for the 85 samples that have been determined by calculating the Slovin formula. The data obtained is then assessed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method which produces recommendations to companies for actions that need to be taken on the website in order to improve and maintain the quality of the website. The results of the GAP analysis obtained 9 variables with positive values and 13 variables with negative values. While the results of the IPA analysis obtained variables that have been grouped into 4 quadrants, with 1 variable being the main priority, namely UQ8.
