Abstract

This study aims to measure the risk of distributing cooperative membersfinancing through Employee Cooperative (Kopkar) as executing agent at MuamalatBank Indonesia (BMI), Bogor branch. The contribution of this research lies in: 1)Strategy to overcome operational, credit, strategic, liquidity, and legal risks for thedistribution of cooperative member financing; 2) Analysis of expected loss andunexpected loss in member financing portfolio of cooperatives; 3) Analysis ofeconomic capital values that must be provided by BMI Bogor branch to coverunexpected loss; 4) The fit model analysis of CreditRisk+ in measuring the financingrisk of cooperative members using the Poisson distribution model. The dataprocessing method uses CreditRisk+ model based on Credit Suisse Financial Product(CFSB) framework. The financing product analyzed is the financing of cooperativemembers. The results of this study are: 1) Operational risk can be overcome byincreasing the fleet of office cars and the number of account officers. Credit risk canbe overcome by tightening the terms of the proposed financing. Strategic risk can beovercome by tightening control over the discipline of installment payments. Liquidityrisk can be overcome by limiting the number of loan accounts on the same mudharib.Legal risks can be overcome by backing up a cessie guarantee with fiducia guarantees;2) The expected value of loss in 2009 is 2,159,808,000 IDR and 2010-2011 is563,119,000 IDR. Unexpected loss value of loss 3,513,600,000 IDR in 2009 and1,054,100,000 IDR in 2010-2011; 3) The value of economic capital in 2009 amountedto 1,353,792,000 IDR and 490,981,000 IDR in the year of 2010-2011; 4) CreditRisk+model is suitable to measure unexpected loss in the financing of cooperative member.

Abstract

The role of sharia banking in overcoming poverty in Indonesia has started toincrease but not yet optimal. This is due to the fact that the contracts are stillcommercial-oriented, short-term and sensitive to interest movements and dominatethe non-profit sharing (murabaha) contracts on the practice of sharia banking whichcan only be enjoyed by a handful of middle and upper class people with income ratioin Above average, not yet optimal innovative products sharia banking that can touchthe majority of the poor where in the aggregate most of t he Muslims. The purpose ofthis study is to analyze the not optimal role of sharia banking in overcoming povertyby exploring what should be done to improve the role of Islamic banking for thesmall community. The analytical method used is qualitative. While the analyticaltool used is descriptive and literature study is a very important source. Therecommendation of research result indicates that the need to optimize bankingproducts in small and medium enterprises, the need to optimize the role of shariabanking as a model of social intermediation, it is necessary to establish an effectiveselling price murabaha. The need for (benchmark) Islamic finance, the need tooptimize the real role of sharia economy.

Abstract

The success of the banking world will be fulfilled if it can create customersatisfaction to achieve the goal then the banking company apply RelationshipMarketing. But creating customer satisfaction is not easy then this study aims toanalyze the influence of the implementation of Relationship Marketing to customersatisfaction consisting of three dimensions of the Financial Benefits, Social Benefitsand Confidence Benefits. The method used in this research is quantitativecorrelational. Methods of data analysis of this study using multiple linear regression.The results showed that simultaneously the variables Financial Benefits, ConfidenceBenefits and Social Benefits significantly influence customer satisfaction. PartiallyFinancial Benefits and Confidence Benefits have no significant effect on customersatisfaction, BNI Syariah should pay more attention and improve Financial Benefitsand Confidence Benefits to create optimal customer satisfaction while SocialBenefits partially significantly influence customer satisfaction BNI Sharia Bank canimprove customer satisfaction with more emphasis on Social Benefits variable.

Abstract

This research is to know how to apply the principles of Good CorporateGovernance (GCG) at Bank BRISyariah Pusat, what are the obstacles faced inapplying GCG principles and how to overcome the obstacles that happened inapplying GCG principles at Bank BRI Syariah. The method used is the method ofqualitative naturalistic research with data collection techniques that is observation,interview and documentation. The results conclude that BRISyariah has applied GCGprinciples in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. There are five GCGprinciples applied by BRISyariah in accordance with Bank Indonesia Regulation(PBI) no. 11/33 / PBI / 2009 is transparency, accountability, responsibility,professional, fairness. Implementation of the principles of Good CorporateGovernance (GCG) under the authority of Bank BRISyariah can be said to be good,effective and in accordance with the provisions of applicable legislation.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the performance of Sharia Economic Forum(FOREKS) as the association of student Departement of Sharia Banking, IslamicStudies of UNISMA Bekasi in in improving the quality of human resources ofIslamic banking. This research uses qualitative method. The conclusion of thisresearch that the performance of Sharia Economic Forum is supportive in improvingthe quality of human resources of its members, such as giving the nuance ofdiscipline in the organization and teaches the adaptability with new environmentand teaches professionalism in performing duties and functions as board andmembers of Sharia Economic Forum. As for the inhibiting factors of the ShariaEconomic Forum in improving the quality of human resources of its members, thatmonotonous and boring activity is almost felt by all members, so many memberswho choose not to play an active role even seem to consider the Sharia EconomicForum only a formality.

Abstract

This study aims to know on the effectiveness of mediation Implementation ofdivorce in Religious Court of Bekasi. This research used field Research and qualitativeapproach. Primary data source that is result of interview and observation at BekasiReligious Court. Secondary data is derived from book literature, print media andelectronic media. conclusion of this research that the implementation of divorce mediationin the Religious Court of Bekasi is as follows: pre-mediation, mediation, mediation report,trial continued mediation report. Factors supporting the success of the mediation processare, the ability of a good mediator, the willingness of the parties litigation to reconcile,and the child of the plaintiff and the defendant's marriage. While the constraints are asfollows: the parties (the plaintiff and the defendant) will not make peace, the duration oftime is relatively short, the facilities are not adequate, and the difficulty of the disputedcase. Therefore the effectiveness of the implementation of mediation of divorce dependson the presence and absence of factors supporting and inhibiting earlier.

Abstract

The understanding of traditional communities about waqf is very limited, traditional paradigm only know that waqf is only in the form of fixed assets such as land and buildings. Over time cash waqf emerged. But there are still many traditional paradigm who do not know and disagree about cash waqf. Education is a very important factor to create the character of a nation. Educational Waqf is an important instrument in the development of Islamic community education. Therefore, waqf is needed for the Islamic education sector. This research seek disclosure how the management of waqf for education in Indonesia and Malaysia is able to present a perspective and model that can be used as a reference for the management of waqf in optimalizing education sector using comparative descriptive methods. The results of this study are optimization of the education sector waqf by making professional waqf management institutions, optimizing existing assets by involving stakeholders and requiring the role of government in the collection and management of waqf.
